Nelson was courteous . I had a problem with the small burner on my stove with no adjustment for the flame. Upon arrival he checked out that burner and did the others. He proceeded to use a tool that almost looks like a larger paperclip. Said there was a little something blocking it probably from cleaning. He just ran it through around the burner where it lights. I did not have a problem with his work it was the price that he charged. Service call fee $95.00 plus another fee being there for only [5] minutes to actually fix it was a bit much. Total bill for [5] minutes of work was $195.00. I believe that was over kill for that amount of time. If he had been there 15-30 minutes I could justify that amount. It's called live and learn. Hey a baffle came loose in my Maytag dryer. I gave them a call and easy peasy Nelson showed up, he sent a text prior to arrival. I called Nelson, text him many times until he finally answer and agreed to come and check it out again. This time he says the control panel was bad and it was $320 to replace it. So I paid him and again three days later, the refrigerator stopped working. 5-2-19 My washer started acting up and making all kinds of noise and wobbling everywhere. I was like "great!! now I gotta go buy another washer". My Whirlpool gas dryer wasn't producing heat within the drum. After reading reviews from three sites, I called Pro Appliance Service. Nelson, is a very professional and knowledgeable technician. From start to finish, he communicated clearly what needed to be done and the price for the repair. I really appreciated the next day appointment, the call to tell me that he was on his way, and his politeness upon arrival, his workmanship, and his word on the price-which was very reasonable. He thoroughly inspected my dryer inside and out, and replaced the coil and valve parts to my dryer within 40 minutes; plus, he removed and cleaned three pedal parts within the drum at no extra charge. Nelson was fantastic! He spoke with me before he came out and asked what was the problem, the make and model of our washer, and when we wanted him to come. He said he can't guarantee he would have the parts since he didn't examine the machine but that he had an idea what could be wrong and would have the most likely needed part in his truck. He arrived on time and proceeded to check the washer and found the problem, told us what was needed and how long it would take to fix and how much. Since he had the part he was in and out in less than an hour! Most of that time was to make sure everything was working and to thoroughly explain to my wife what was wrong. Since English is my wife's second language he made sure she understood everything and was comfortable knowing the machine will be fine.
