They helped us on short notice and went out of their way to help us chase down a part. We just hired them again when our Samsung washer had a leak. I called and was thrilled that a technician was available within a few hours to come out and stop the leak. And he was familiar with our issue and knew exactly what to do. DG ordered the part we needed and had our washer back up and running in less than 3 days. We will definitely use them again, although I hope we don't have to! read more

They determined that the problem was a clogged hose and that it will be $250, all labor, even if it takes only five minutes. They should have been up front and told me it's $95 for the service call, but the minimum charge for work on my dishwasher is $250. Complete bait and switch. They get 2.5 stars rounded up because the work was fine, quick and courteous. I'm left feeling like I got taken to the cleaners $$$$. Will not use again. read more

If LG tells you this is the company they're sending to check out your appliance. Immediately ask for another option. The person that came barely spoke English. And no one in our household can speak Russian. The person was rude and dismissive and wouldn't even listen to us explain what was happening with the unit. He basically came and spent 10 minutes measuring the air in the room, the air coming from the unit and took a photos outside and then just ignored us while they spoke to people on their cellphone and filled out paperwork. We asked LG to send someone else, someone that we can actually communicate with us and wouldn't be rude and dismissive.and told LG they should really rethinking having this company as an authorized repair shop, judging from experience and the amount of one star reviews on here, it's quite obvious that they're terrible. read more

I purchased an LG dishwasher in March, it was delivered in April. In June it stopped working. I don't remember the name of the company that was sent out but I was told that it was my detergent's fault, ahh no I was using Finish with Rinse Aid. It still was not working so he came back and wasn't any help. This took about 3 weeks between calls. I called the place I bought it and they started another ticket. DG Appliance service came, Vldamir is his name. He diagnosed the problem he thought and ordered a part, sadly it didn't work so he ordered 2 more, still not working He told me LG should replace the dishwasher and I don't know what he did but I got the new one last night after over 2 months of no dishwasher. Unbelievable!!! Do NOT use this company, even if your manufacturer suggests them. 1. First appointment to fix noisy LG AC unit under warranty and the technician from DG Appliance Service left before the unit had time to warm up and malfunction, instead asking for a video. 2. Video sent to LG and DG Appliance Service showing clearly unit making loud noise. 3. LG authorize second visit from DG Appliance Service. 4. DG Appliance Service cancels appointment. I call DG Appliance Service and a rude man asks for a payment of $95. I call LG to ask what is going on with them. 5. LG get me and DG Appliance Service on a conference call with them, and the guy from DG Appliance Service still insists on an up front payment of $95, even though LG is authorizing the warranty repair at no cost! 6. DG Appliance Service hangs up on LG!!! 7. LG is now searching for another repair technician. Hopefully they will never use DG Appliance Service again. Shame on me, I should have read the reviews before calling these guys. Unless you're looking to pay $95 for no resolve and a bunch of attitude, call someone else! I have an LG fridge, one of the doors stopped staying closed, like the gasket stopped sticking and the ice dispenser stopped pushing out cubes. I explained this on the phone and was assured this was a serviceable issue. Oleg, the technician showed up to the appointment not ready to service my fridge, but to write up an ridiculous estimate! Within a minute, he made note of the serial number and model information, then proceeded with a $1200 estimate to replace the doors - not to service them. Instead of using a level to assure the doors were level and square, he used his pen to write "1 Left Door". Instead of a screwdriver to see if any adjustments could be made, Oleg had his clip board to write up $780 in parts. I called Dimitri, whom I made the appointment with, to express my dissatisfaction with thier "service" and questioned why straight REPLACE and not REPAIR, he was quick to get angry and defensive with me. He could not provide me with any additional information, he couldn't explain to me why $1200 to replace the doors when a new fridge is $1400, he couldn't provide me with anything but attitude. He said he trusted his professional and was dismissive of my business. I don't know why they don't make appliances they way they used to, but what are you going to do? Do you repair the models that you bought or fork out some hard earned cash to buy something else? We purchased an LG Washing Machine and LG Electric and Gas Dryer at the end of 2005 and my husband, yes I am going to blame him, decided that we weren't going to purchase an extended warranty on them. We've had the dryer serviced three times and the washer once since then. D.G. Appliance Service is an authorized repair center for all LG appliances. I called them this morning and Vladimir was at my house by 10:00 a.m.. Yes, it is going to cost $150.00 in labor for most repairs as I am looking at all my receipts, but you aren't going to get a new machine for that. Vladimir took my dryer apart and replaced four rollers. The drum had already been replaced a couple years ago thank goodness. Keeping my fingers crossed that the dryer holds up, but the parts have a warranty for 90 days and labor for 30 days. Tips: 1) Buy and extended warranty on your appliances because they will most likely need repairs. 2) Don't forget to check your pockets for change before you throw your laundry in. 3) Leave the washer door open so the interior can dry out. Wipe around the rubber seals around the door to remove mildew or your clothes are going to start smelling like mildew. read more

They ask me what's wrong with the fridge I said its not cooling enough so they sent Technician. He check the fridge by only opening the door he never even pull the fridge to look at the back and start writing on a receipt need to change the compressor , condenser add freon. Total of $850.00 if you still have receipt if not $1,650.00. Dude where in the planet you live? Never has anyone treated us so poorly as yesterday. We have done business with this company before and paid promptly but for some reason, they insisted on getting paid even before their tech left the job. They must get burned often. I like that they come quickly but come on guys; a little customer service would be nice. Treating the customer like a criminal is now way to operate a business. LG - You can do better and please do. This company is a fraud. They service Lowe's appliances and know what the protection plans cover. They use those coverages against the customers and still collect their service fee from Lowes without fixing the issue. Years ago this company came out to service another appliance of ours with coverage from Lowes. Worst experience we've ever had. At that time the technician made up an excuse why he couldn't fix it and left. I had to call Lowe's again and have them send another company out-who fixed it right away. Same thing happened this time. Said it was a floor issue and that it isn't covered by the protection plan, which of course he knows. Gave him the perfect excuse not to fix it but still get paid. I've owned this fridge for 2 years and it's always sealed fine. Two weeks ago it started having issues sealing and the alignment looks off. Not sure where this sudden floor issue that he's claiming came from given we've had no floods or construction or earthquakes but sure dude, I believe you. Ugh. Came to my old house in May 2020. Replaced a part in the front of my washing machine. The part replaced had instructions on how to use the settings for the LG washing machine. Great company and I highly recommend using this company. I again called DG Appliance service March 8 2021. I had a small fire in my Frigidaire oven. I was in a new condo and the oven came with the purchase of the condo, I was told to not use the oven for 7-10 days. Why???? Because the oven could make smoke and or the bottom of the oven could burn. I paid my $75. This money will be applied to the work being done. I will receive a new bottom for my oven. read more

My LG refrigerator lost its ability to refrigerate very much and all the easy stuff like cleaning the condenser coils, checking circulation fans, etc. didn't help. So I call in a professional referred by LG, DG Appliance Service, and they diagnosed the problem as a bad compressor in minutes. They gave me an estimate and offered to do the repair on the spot - no waiting for parts or whatever. After the tech spent about 90 efficient minutes working on it, we were back to 21st century food storage. DG pointed out that the compressor could be under warranty if I could dig up the receipt, which I did and it was so no charge on the new compressor - just some minor parts and labor. Was DG the cheapest way to go? I don't know, I didn't shop around, but I can say they know their LG's and have the parts readily available. That's easy worth any possible extra cost in my mind. I already had it running and knew at what minute it started making the noise. He shouted at me and husband "said he didn't have time for this" picked up his bag and slammed the door. I was speechless!! He has a lot of nerve thinking its okay to behave like a disrespectful jerk in customers homes. Please avoid giving your money to this business. This company was called in from Lowe's to repair our 4 year old Samsung French door fridge. Upon arrival, my wife said Oleg smelled of cigarettes, she couldn't understand him with his heavy accent, and was also rude to her. He looked at the fridge and said that both ice makers were bad and the fan motor in the back was also bad...he said about $700 in parts and he would need to authorize the repairs. This was on 2/6/19...now, fast forward to today 2/8/19, Oleg called and said that the parts weren't authorized and if we wanted we could order and he can install. My wife said no thanks, and we called the Service company again to use somebody else and he hung up on her. I wouldn't trust this guy to replace the bulb in my microwave. In April, I purchased an LG portable air conditioner from Home Depot in Arizona, for my apartment in Santa Monica. When I tried to use it this Summer, it just blew hot air, despite my troubleshooting and installation best efforts. I finally called LG, who set me up with an appointment with DG Appliance Service. Last Friday, Vladimir came out early (asked if he could via phone call), looked at the unit, ran it, and took it with him for repairs. We thought it was either a faulty compressor or holes in the tubing. On Monday, DG called me, to arrange a time for delivery of the fixed unit. Vladimir came out again, delivered it, set it up, and ran it to show that it was now blowing cool air. (There was a hole in the tubing, as he had suspected). No parts needed to be ordered, so DG was able to fix it asap and return it to me. I was very impressed with this company's work ethic, customer service, quick and prompt response times, professionalism and friendliness. They are awesome. DG Appliance service came out during the CORONAVIRUS event and fixed our fridge! Big props. They were selected by LG when i "called' (tweeted) about a bad compressor on my LG refrigerator. I did catch the service tech that came out but he was awesome. Great guy, came early and was professional the entire time. Even though I knew it was the compressor, he checked the board to make sure it was good and went through his routine before replacing the compressor. DG carries a compressor with them so there is no return trip to order one. Everything was finished in 1.5 hours. I was referred to this repair co. by another tech in another area who does not service LG. My LG warranty with Home Depot had expired although the refrigerator has had other issues. I called, spoke with a gentleman named Dimitri. He immediately took my appliance info (Serial#, model), asked a few diagnostic questions and called me back within the hour to say that my service had been authorized by LG. I also received a confirmation from LG immediately before he called me back. He scheduled me for next day service (today). Anther tech came out, prepared with parts, started working immediately and in less than 2 hours my LG refrigerator was repaired. He provided clear instructions for allowing the freezer to cool again and that was it. I have used other companies over the years and this co. by far superseded my expectations. I am relieved. LG gave me a number for D.G. Appliance. Said they would pay for parts. The estimate to repair my 8 year old refrigerator that needs a new compressor is $1,342.75. That is with LG paying for the compressor! Labor is $850. There are 3 other charges that I can't decipher other then Freon which is 160.00. . So payed the $95 service call for the 20 min. he pulled out the ref. and unscrewed the back and took a quick look. Next time i need a repair I will get a recommendation from someone I know. WE will be buying a new Refrigerator as we could wind up wasting another $95 on another estimate. Does anyone really service appliances anymore or do they just make their money giving estimates so high they know no one will pay . Seems like an easy gig at $95 a shot. Fantastic service during difficult times. Compressor went out on our LG refrigerator, still under warranty. LG first assigned us another authorized repair service (A&E Factory Service - DON'T EVER USE THEM), who confirmed and then didn't bother to show up (and then unilaterally tried to reschedule me for twelve days later). LG then put me in touch with Dmitry at DG Appliance. He called me back in ten minutes and had a great technician, Alex, here within an hour. Alex immediately diagnosed the problem and even had the new compressor with him. The entire process, from first speaking to Dmitry to getting the refrigerator fixed took about two hours. I am very unhappy with D.G. Appliance! When I asked them to come repair my dishwasher under warranty they INSISTED that I need an APM number from LG. I called LG and they said that because I purchased it from COSTCO it's under warranty for 2 years, and I don't need an APM number. I called them to replace a linear compressor on a 6 year old LG fridge (a whole other story) they wanted $750 for a two hour job , which should cost 300. The guy told me "it's ok you are not my customer". I said "obviously". i wonder what that says about his other customers!
