I am thankful to Pro Auto Sound. I got an aftermarket system and had a friend install it and had issues ever since. I had issues with the steering control and I could never get the adapter to function properly. There were times that you'd start the car and the system volume would be ear blasting loud even though the volume was low when the vehicle was turned off. The GPS did not function properly either. The technician decided to do a reinstall and everything is functioning great. The job was scheduled and completed quickly and the price was reasonable. I always come to this place for little things like air fresheners , wires , etc.... This time I came in for component speakers 6.5. and 6x9. Owner showed me the speakers he had . Named the price . Then wrote a totally different price. Wrote up nearly doubled the price of what they are on Amazon, online in general. I will keep this review up until he refunds me the difference. I have the receipt as proof With model number on it. You just don't put 275$ for 6.5 speakers and 275$ for 6x9 when each set is little over 149$ everywhere else. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Ive been a customer here since I owner my first car, spent thousands of dollars here. I called and ask how much it would be for them to remove my subwoofers and amp from my old car and put it into my new car and he had the nerve to tell me $350 when everywhere else will do it for $100. I came here to have my door speakers upgraded and add an amp to my Toyota Tacoma double cab. I was initially told that they would need all day for the job by the actual installer Nelson and I should have listened to him above all because he was right and he clearly knows what he is talking about. Nelson is a great car audio installer and a nice man as far as I can tell. It is hard for me to leave my vehicle for an entire day but I will do it if it is necessary. I called them at 10am when they opened and asked them if I can be there at 1pm today could they finish the job by closing. The woman I spoke with said yes that would work fine. I showed up at exactly 1pm and they started to work on my truck. At 7pm I went to the shop assuming that it was almost done. I was told that I would have to come back another day to have the job finished. Damn... that sucks... but oh well, ok I will be back tomorrow morning then. Nope, its Friday and we don't do installments on the weekend. Shit! Really? I would have either waited until Monday to do the work or gone somewhere else. Instead I was sent on my way with a horrible sounding stereo that clipped at 25 on a 60 point volume control? During my drive to work Saturday morning I realized that I had to get it fixed TODAY this was not something that can wait. I called the shop at 10am when they opened to let them know how disappointed I was in my experience with their business and that I would be taking my truck to somewhere else to have the job finished instead of coming back to their establishment. The owner was very professional while dealing with my concerns and agreed that I should get what I had already paid for instead of taking my truck to another store and paying again. He went way out of his way to make me happy. He called the installer in on his day off and had my install finished (almost) on Saturday afternoon. I feel bad about the whole experience with this place. I feel like they are good people trying to do their best but I was told different things during the process that had me expecting a different outcome (like I said in the beginning, listen to Nelson and no one else). I still need my amp remote mounted but that's not why I cannot give 5 stars yet. Everything works fine except for the phone calls. Now my phone rings through my head unit but when I answer it I can no longer hear the person calling me through my head unit and they cannot hear me? I have to just press answer then touch my phone to use speakerphone. I plan to go back and get this fixed as soon as I have time. I am sure that they will know how to fix it quickly. Now after all that... I will still be spending my money at this business. The owner is honest and a good man. Small businesses like this are what makes a customer feel like a person that is appreciated instead of when you go to a major retailer where you just feel like a number with $$ attached. I will update this review after I have them finish the rest of my stereo upgrades. Now that I know who to listen to for all the time estimating, I believe that my experience will be much better. read more

Had some tweeter issues in my 2005 Acura. Called on Saturday, Phil said come on by Sunday and they would check it out. As I expected, I needed to replace the tweeters. They said it would take an hour, and could do it today...a Sunday! It took one hour as promised, and the speakers sound excellent. Great people and reasonable prices. They didn't try and up-sell or anything like that. Straight up folks. I would recommend them, and will be back when I need other car stereo stuff. read more

I went here to get a stereo installed and they said ok hand is your keys and we can get you right in. After I chose the stereo they took my car back and got it done in 45 minutes. They installed a new stereo and everything for $200. Super cheap. If I were you I would go here because Phil will not rip you off. I called and asked what the cost would be to install a subwoofer and amp in my car and they said $90. Compared to when I called car toys and asked the same thing and they said $175 plus tax. I thought these guys would be good for jdm parts but they arent. They are over priced with almost everything. I bought a jdm sport steering wheel there for $75, went online today and founs the same one for $50 and free shipping. They gave me a hub adapter for my 95 prelude fpr $35. Found the same adapter online for $6. The adapter said in sharpie that it was for the 92-96 prelude so it was supposed to fit perfect. Well it didnt and it almost destroyed my steering stud. I barely got the old steering wheel back on to drive to work. Been trying to call them for 2 days now but they havent picked up once. I live 30 miles away and dont want to drive there just to find out they wont give me a new hub adapter. Plus they dont tell you that their policy that is only on the receipt is NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS. plus no product you buy is in English and nothing comes with directions. Dont go here if you want good customer service and good prices. Do your homework and buy online. Im very mad and very disapointed. read more
