I can't say enough about how helpful they were. I called this place to see if I could get a bluetooth input on an older maserati. I spoke with Steve there, and he found me the part and gave me a quote of about $120, including the part, so it wasn't a big payday for them at the end of the day. There was not much money in it for them basically. Well, it turned out to be more complicated than he had thought, but instead of just telling me I was out of luck, without my asking, he spent a lot of time researching, he called the dealership several times, he ran down leads, and when they wouldn't answer, he even dropped by and met with the service department, who helped him look into ways of getting the part installed. In the end, it was futile and I got a refund on my deposit, but the fact that they spent all this time and energy getting to the bottom of things, without there being really any significant potential for profit at the end really said a lot about them. He was friendly and just intellectually curious about getting better at his job and helping me out. I wouldn't hesitate to go to them for any car audio needs! read more

These guys went above and beyond to install a Retrosound Stereo (purchased elsewhere) in my 1963 Ford Falcon. They were able to get me quickly and were able to maneuver through the many problems that an old car can present. It just so happened that the radio itself had faulty parts and they were able to get me back in for a final install once I had a little back and forth with the Retrosound people. So, if possible, buy your stereo through Pro Car so that you can avoid some of the headaches I encountered. Lastly, the fellas fixed an electrical problem I was having after the initial install... which turned out to not be caused by Pro Car... but they diagnosed and fixed it anyway. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Pro Car Audio. I just moved here from Nevada and have an aftermarket stereo that needs to be switched out before my smog check every year (some issue with older cars and the wiring). My old shop used to do it for free because the system was under lifetime warranty and I was nervous I'd have to spend like $60 to get it done here. When I called Pro Car Audio I was quoted $20 max and it was exactly that. I was in and out in ten minutes and the staff were SO friendly! It was time to replace the original speakers in my 2001 Ford F150. I love this truck and I plan to keep it until it turns to dust. I certainly do not consider myself an audiophile, but I want a decent sounding stereo system in my vehicle. Plus I wanted to be able to utilize some of the new technology that is available for car audio. The staff at Pro Car Audio know what they are talking about. I had certain things that I wanted... Bluetooth streaming, hands-free phone capability, IOS and/or Android compatibility, EQ settings, and maybe something visually cool. I had a budget in mind and I wanted a double din 7" touch screen. After looking at my existing system and the modifications that would have been needed to the dash to make that kind of unit work, they convinced me that it wouldn't be the right thing to do. It would really compromise the structure of the dash and would be an issue down the road. Other car audio places that I had been to never pointed out these issues and only said no problem, we can put that double din in there. After discussing a couple of different speaker and head unit options, they hooked me up with a great Pioneer unit and matching speakers that was right in line with what I wanted to spend. Plus they gave me the capability to add a power amp and sub-woofer setup in the future. I didn't get the 7" touch screen like I would have loved to have, but they got me a very nice single din unit with all of my wishlist features and didn't have to chop up my dash to install it. It sounds great, was priced right, and quickly installed. I can't say enough about these guys, they did a great job and I will recommend them to my friends and family. And I will be back for an amp and sub-woofer soon. read more

I told them over the phone the make and model of my car, and they asked me a few questions to make sure they understood the features I was looking for. They ordered the part, car unseen, and once the part arrived, they called me to schedule installation. They were well within the estimated time expectation they'd set for installation and called me once my car was ready for pickup. Sohail was awesome! He showed me how to link up to the Bluetooth and made sure we tested it. He was upfront and honest about the work and forthcoming about any issues that had arisen during installation, however minor. These guys are AMAZING, I went in to get a new radio since I broke my factory one, Not only did they listen to me on what I wanted, they explained to me what would be the best for what I had to spend and didn't make me feel like I didn't know what I was asking for. In truth I didn't but it was nice for them to not let me know it :). I also got my tint done and after 2 weeks the tent started to come off one of the windows. I took it back to them and without missing a beat, Sohail said oh looks like we cut it too short and they took it back and fixed it just like they stated when I got it done. Let me preface with the fact that I own a beater car and was not looking for any high end equipment to replace the beater stereo unit that had just died recently. So I go to Pro Audio because of the highly rated Yelp reviews and they sure didn't disappoint!! I was looking for a cheap replacement for the cheap stereo head that had just given up the ghost in my '94 VW Jetta... The wonderful people at Pro Audio showed me the low end stuff and I was about to make my joice when the manager pointed out that the model I wanted had the next higher model on sale at the same price.... score!! After a short installation time.. no more that 45 minutes, I was taken out to my car to give 'er a go. Holy smokes!! It sounded like a 1000% improvement... seriously! Now, to add some facts... my beater car did already have a few upgrades... I already had an added amplifier powering 2 front, 2 side speakers, and 4 kickers in the back deck. Come to find out, after the installation of my new stereo head, the wonderful technician 'tweaked' in my crossover settings of my amplifier.... I needed to get my car tinted, so I called up these guys. They gave me a quote over the phone which was much lower than other places around town. I made appointment same day and when I got to the place they shared all the tinting options I had available. They weren't trying to up sell me or being pushy. Couple of weeks ago I went so they could checkout what was wrong with my sound system, because when I would turn it up more than 5 on the volume it would sound like all of my speakers were blown out. So I get there explain it to the guy and right away his like (you got after market door speakers? I say yes and write away he say yeah you need an amp) ok so I believe him e shows me some amps they carry than the price so I tell him I'll be back tomorrow with some cash. So I get home start trying to find the promblem and all it was it was ONE OF MY SPEAKER WIRES WAS MAKING CONTACT (positive with negative). I fix that and problem solve. NO NEED OF AMP. read more

My experience was great. The owner laid out the various options according to different budgets and told me what he would do in my particular case. I followed his recommendation and had one set of component speakers and one set of door speakers installed. The installation was done the same day, and it was done in a very clean manner. I was very impressed that he actually refunded me about 20 or 30 dollars because his installer did not need a certain adapter that he thought he would need, so they put it back on my card.
