This review reflects my personal experience during an appointment with Dr. Alexander-Martin. This was one of the most disturbing medical encounters I have ever had. From the outset, any attempt to ask questions or participate in my own care was shut down. When I raised concerns about medications being prescribed and referenced the actual FDA labeling, the response was not clarification or discussion, but outright dismissal. There was no willingness to engage with evidence or explain clinical reasoning. Input from the patient was clearly unwelcome and seemed like she took any input personally. The interaction was tense and adversarial. The tone was defensive and combative, and I felt spoken to in a way that was dismissive and degrading rather than professional. Asking reasonable, informed questions was treated as a problem instead of a normal and appropriate part of medical care. What was most alarming was the complete lack of openness to being questioned or corrected, even when objective information was presented. That alone made me deeply uncomfortable trusting any aspect of the care being provided. To compound the experience, the billing felt excessive and disproportionate to the quality of care and communication I received, leaving me with serious concerns about priorities at this practice. I left feeling stressed, unheard, and shaken by how poorly I was treated for simply advocating for myself. Started my weight loss journey about a year ago. This was my first real attempt and I have learned so much throughout the process. With healthier eating habits, some exercise and weight loss medications, I have lost 35lbs. Dr. A and her staff were by my side the entire time, they really want you to succeed. The aides are fantastic all of them are great I use to be treated here until I requested for one single sentence to be wrote for Dr Alexander to say that I was a patient because my parole officer wanted a paper to see who was treating me at first they tried to charged me $40 then dropped it down to $5. I feel like she doesn't care for her patients only money. I just think it's a little far fetched to charge someone to write seven words on a piece of paper just stating I'm being seen by her. Also please anyone who goes here bring a mask or they WILL charge for you a mask everything as well. read more

Ive been going here for 2 1/2 years. A good visit feels like a quick visit, and that is easy to accomplish here with Dr. A and her staff. They are always so friendly, funny and timely. They always remember who I am and I always leave with a smile on my face, whether it be from MayJane, Natosha or Dr. A herself. Great place to come for the services offered. I've never encountered a visit to a doctor's office quite like this. And there is not a thing I would change about it either!! read more

I had researched the Zerona laser procedure, looking at it for months. I am not one to try something at a whim when large sums of money is involved. I saw where the Groupon was available for the procedure from Pro Health Services and went to my consultation appt which I thought was going to be one-on-one. It was not. When I went to my 1st treatment appt., the assistant got out a ruler and I'm thinking to myself that it was a new way to take measurements. So I didn't say anything. For my 6th and last treatment, the assistant said to me that she would take my measurements afterward. When that treatment was completed, she flown out of the room and got on the phone. I opened up the door to ask her if she was going to take my measurements, so I knew whether to get dressed or not. She came back in the room, asking me if she ever took my measurements. I said no. The reason why she flew out of room is so she could get on the phone with the doctor after she realized what she did! She apologized profusely, saying that she had never done that before. I do have to say that I did see some results as in some of my clothes were looser, BUT I do not have hard-core measurements to truly gauge my inch loss. Dr. Alexander called me to appease me, but she didn't even offer any type of compensation. What she did do was to tell me about some of the other weight loss products and didn't even offer this to me! Even though I got a good deal for the 6 treatments, I cannot highly recommend this Zerona center to anyone. read more
