I've been here twice, and both times I walked out with my 5s looking brand new in about 20 minutes. Jack's expertise and service is phenomenal, I'll recommend anyone and everyone to go here. Before going to get my phone fixed, I checked out the reviews on this place, and there's no way that a place can get so many 5 star reviews. Boy, was I wrong! Seriously, this place is well worth 5 stars. My iPhone 4s fell on the pavement, and I thought, "Well, it must be time for an upgrade." Rather than acting hastily, my friend told me about this place that does iPhone repairs, and it's worth looking into. Sure enough, for $79, I got my phone fixed, and pretty quickly! The low down: street parking is probably the best way. I went there at about 5:45pm on a weekday, and there were 3-4 vacant spots. You can make an appointment online! Just go to the website, and it's really just that simple. When you make the appointment online, you'll get an email confirmation, as well as txt messages as a reminder. I'm not sure what the other services provide, but if you have a cracked phone, he'll throw in a free case, and a screen protector, and it's already $79 WITH tax! Once everything is done, he has your info on file, and there's a 90-day warranty. There really isn't anything for me to complain about at all. I've shattered my screen countless times and from the beginning I have only trusted Jack with the repair. He not only does a quick and CLEAN fix he also makes sure that you leave his office feeling happy and satisfied. He is honest about the work he does and only provides the best. He only uses the best equipment, and gives you the best advice on maintenance that my kids don't follow. I can't believe it's taken me 12 years to write this. He's fixed every iphone I've ever had, because I've broken every iphone I've ever had, multiple times. And so has my wife. Same goes for my brother's phone, his wife's phone. He's a regular too. Man oh man do I have an opinion on this place. First off the place is extremely hard to find. It's an office inside of another office where there is absolutely no one there to help you find it. In addition, the staff in the main reception area was extremely rude, and when they hinted a slight bit of annoyance from me when I could not find the place they gave attitude which deserves a review in and of itself. Nextly was the service from the man himself, Jack. When I came to pick up my phone the hours on Yelp state that he is open at 10:30 A.M. As a college student, I told him that I was only able to pick up my phone during certain times and he said not to worry and to stop by the store whenever I was able to, of course after he had finished fixing my phone. So I did and of course, he didn't show up to work until almost 11:45. Very unprofessional. In addition, Jack also didn't have the balls to tell me that my phone was unsalvageable in person, so his instructions were to turn on my phone at home. He did charge and play around with it a bit in front of me but then decided to have me try to turn it on at home. There was no follow-up or effort to see if my phone had indeed turned off after he had "fixed it" and now I am forced to buy a new phone. My advice: DON'T GO HERE. read more

As promised, here is the review, and looks like I'm the first reviewer (...add one more to the Yelp list, woohoo!) Anyway, long story short, I cracked my iPhone's screen and in desperation called the Apple Store for a solution, only to find that they charge $200 to either a) replace the screen, or b) get a new phone. So essentially, you could end up paying for a tiny little crack by buying a new phone. Typical Apple....i.e. rip off and so not worth it. I found out about iFone Repair Service through a friend who had broken her iPhone and gotten the screen replaced, and for $70, this is definitely a bargain compared to Apple's ridiculous pricing. In addition, the DIY kits you can find online complete with parts + tools run about $50-$60 anyway plus it's a tricky process (esp if you don't know what you're doing), so you're better off having someone with ~1 year of experience just do the work for you. Jack works out of his home in a comfortable little office and you can sit and watch TV and browse the variety of cases / screen protectors available while he repairs your phone - yes, on site, within about 20-30 min. When you pick your case/screen protector, he will also install those for you so you don't have to worry about doing it yourself. In my case, he was super accommodating (I showed up late Thursday evening, post-Laker game) despite the official business hours. Nonetheless, great experience, convenient, and a good price for the service. Definitely would recommend these services to all you iPhone users out there!! read more

Fixed my broken Iphone 7+ glass screen in 20 minutes. For $149 total I got new tempered glass screen protector (which go for $30+ at verizon, sprint, etc)..and phone case included with the repair. I always have a solid phone case & screen protector on my phone but sometimes you drop it and it hits the right angle. About 3 years ago I got a replacement screen that I couldn't see when wearing my sunglasses. Jack not only did a great job but used a high quality glass replacement. I had a rough day. The kind of day that starts bad, and ends worse. It was that kind of day. I had to go through a bunch of records for work off campus in Sylmar, and on my way into the building, bam, tripped over a speed bump and ripped a hole into my jeans, damns! Then the air conditioner didn't work, go figure! But the real icing on the cake was on the way out, I tripped over another speed bump (different side of the parking lot), and out slipped my phone from my purse, over the concrete, NOOOO. My poor screen was broken, just like my heart, and probably my bank account. So as soon as I got home, I checked trusty yelp to find a place to fix it, and that is how I found iFone Repair Service. The man was very upfront on the phone and told me it would be $65 flat and that included a screen protector and a phone cover. I made an appointment for Saturday, and headed into the car to get my phone fixed. Jack was very nice and professional, and deals exclusively with iPhones. When you make an appointment he sends you a text right away with the information and his address. He lives in an apartment complex, and does everything out of his basement. This sounds much more creepy than it is. He has a large seating area with a tv and big couches, and then a small office area where he does the fixing (complete with a nicely decorated coffee table displaying the old screens that he has fixed, and bins of all the rest). He takes credit cards, and was done in less than 20 minutes, and my phone is like new. I also got a spiffy hardcore case for free. He works out of him house. At first I was hesitant to go so I brought my hubby along with me. It's always weird to find someone through craigslist but this guy is very professional and quick. Like a dummy I ordered a new glass for my 4s on EBay . Watched a UTube video on how to change the glass, and completely took apart my whole phone. Only to figure out that it wasn't just the clear glass that I needed and had been scammed! It was 6:45 when I realized I needed to have it professionally put back together. Great place! It was close to my house and had good reviews, which is why I chose it. I cracked my phone screen and took it in to get replaced. It was $99 for my iPhone 5 ($50 less than at Apple Store) and I got a free case and screen protector too. When they fixed it, everything seemed fine, but then a sensitivity issue came up and I had to schedule another appointment to come back two days later (I couldn't really use my phone until then). They replaced it for free and now everything works, so far at least. The location is a bit weird...it's in a building with other offices so It was kind of hard to find and didn't expect that dynamic for a repair shop. Everything was nice though, and the wait wasn't long, plus there is netflix to watch while you wait. read more
