I just got my RS 660 from them and Aprilia was late due to COVID and well, Aprilia. Kevin was constantly updating me. When an incentive program came up for those that pre-ordered, he called me and got me signed. He didnt need to do this, he already had the sale and my deposit but they are just that kind of shop. When it came down to the purchase date, everything was exactly as promised. No surprises. They bought my old bike from me for a fair price and more importantly with zero hassles or issues. Even the other dealers in town have a ton of respect for these guys because they are so stand up. If they have your bike, go get it there. You wont regret it. I would honestly pay a bit more to have their level of service and customer care but luckily their prices are even really great so you wont have to. A definite 5 star experience. Brought my 7 year old Triumph here for a bunch of things (brakes, coolant, spark plugs) and my bike felt brand new when I rode home. They did an awesome job (and cleaned my gross chain lol) that was super quick for all the work. The staff are SUPER nice and not condescending (I've dealt with that at other places bc I'm a woman). Buyer beware! On 10/01/2021 I went to the Pro Italia shop in Glandale looking for a motorcycle to buy. I let the sales rep (Kevin) I was only interested in motorcycles with a maintenance record (especially regarding the valve adjustment) and without accidents history. Kevin showed me a "clean" Ducati 1098S that had been inspected by his team and with a full maintenance record that he had in his office and that he would provide upon purchase. He also clearly stated that the valves had just been adjusted. I promptly paid in full for the motorcycle and as Kevin handed over a bunch of paperwork to sign, he craftily forgot to include the maintenance record in the document folder that was included with the sale. As soon as I got home I realized the records were not in the folder and called his office. At that point Kevin admitted that he never had the maintenance record for the motorcycle and that he'd try his best to get that from the previous owner. After almost 2 months I still don't have the maintenance record of the motorcycle that Kevin sold me. I initially checked on the records by calling once a week until Kevin asked me to stop calling his office. I ended up taking the motorcycle to a different shop to have the valves checked and to get some peace of mind. The shop said that the valve covers had not been opened in years and confirming that Kevin lied to me in order to get the sale. We also discovered that the motorcycle had been in an accident and there was evidence of damage on the left side, confirming that Kevin lied in that regard as well. These people are criminal and I wish I had read the many negative reviews before purchasing my motorcycle from them. Overall this was a very sad experience, I would have loved establishing a good relationship with the shop and to buy other vehicles from them. Unfortunately that won't be the case. This was my experience which is very similar to that of the many other customers that were ripped off by Pro Italia (feel free to go read their reviews). Last but not least, I saw in other reviews that the owner of the shop reached out to other unhappy customers asking them to contact him directly. I have tried contacting him before leaving my review without any success. That shows that Kevin is not the only bad apple at Pro Italia but rather that the shop as a whole operates by following the same criminal mentality. read more

Located at a perfect spot near the base of the Angeles Crest Highway. The staff is super friendly, especially the parts department. I was trying to get some knee pads for some pants and had problems finding the correct size and brand combo but the parts department helped out and after some trial and error (on my part) I finally got some Dianese pads that worked great and were special ordered. Aside from that, the showroom is fun to browse through and gawk at the Ducati's and others. I haven't used the service department but may some day. read more

After paying nearly $500 for a first service of moto guzzi purchased new from them, my exhaust came loose while riding the bike in the twisties and was dragging on the ground! Obviousley they never bothered to go over the bolts and check tightness for safety reasons. I could've easily high sided and got killed! I took the bike to them at 795 miles on the cluster and showed the issue and was told that I'd have to leave it for 3-4 days for them to get the new replacement bracket and the exhaust can. Called on the 4th day was told it'll take a couple of more days so finally at day 10 of being without my (main means of transportation) been renting a car out of picket* i called in to find out the status and was told the muffler isn't covered by warranty.. Wait.. Say what? Are you freakin kidding me? Long story short i went to get my bike back without them fixing anything and extremely upset just to see that the mileage went up over 900! Not only did they waist my time, money but they used my bike for a personal joy ride! I will be talking to a lawyer! Stay away from these crooks. Drive 25-50 miles if you have to to buy a bike or service one but don't make the same mistake of going there just because it's convenient. A fine example of a pathetic excuse for a motorcycle dealer! At the price the bike was sold and profit made it was logical to include a "so called warranty" but from the looks of things probably useless since they won't even give you a replacement part to fix whatever damage was caused by the fault of your first service! You're claiming to be a 30 yo business but that's not the taste you left at handling things especially caused by your service mechanics not doing what they're suppose to at a first initial service. A true stand up dealer/manager would've acknowledged their mistake, quietly ordered whatever part needed in this case bracket & muffler regardless of the fact if warranty covered or not and just replaced it! But i understand why warranty wouldn't cover such a part is because exhaust can could go wrong if modified or if bike was dropped.. guess what? Picked-up a 2010 Ducati Streetfighter S sold on consignment from another local Ducati dealership (BHD) & who I'll avoid at all costs forever due to lack of concern, customer service and outright dishonesty & deceit. I bought some Speedy Moto frame sliders from PI off Amazon. Installed them on my bike and after a ride realized that there was an inch or so of play via the shaft and the stanchions and the sliders could be shifted back & forth. I emailed them via Amazon and Toast had me come down to see them and Sandro had it put on a lift to check out. Bottom line - wrong stanchions were packed by Speedy Moto in my package as received. They pulled the correct ones from a new set of SM frame sliders and installed them on my bike. Quick and easy, no cost and no hassle!! I went in for tires and 3k oil service, he asked about any issues, I point out one concern I am having with an aftermarket part, and when the bike is returned this part was fixed, perfectly and professionally. In November of last year, I was interested in purchasing a Hypermotard 950S. I knew that the 2020 models had just launched so I called down to them to see if they had any. I explained to the sales individual on the phone that I was interested in a 2020 model and that I would have to Uber all the way down if they had one. He replied that they did have one in stock and that I should come down. I then explained that I want to purchase with a cashiers check and needed to know what the out the door price was, which, he provided. After picking up the cashiers check and Ubering for an hour down to their shop, I met with a different salesman. He told me that they only had the 2019 models and that they weren't going to get 2020 models for another month. So then the salesman tried to act like it was no big deal that I wasn't going to get a 2020 model by stating that there were only minor differences between model years. This is true, but before I pick up a check and Uber for an hour, it would be nice to know. Then, I ultimately decide to do the deal....and I didn't want to Uber all the way back. After presenting them with the cashiers check, they advised me that the name on the check was wrong. I explained that it was the exact name on the website. They then replied that the name on the website was their old name. I asked them if they thought that would be important information for me to have when I spoke to the initial salesman about picking up a cashiers check. At this point they were unable to accept the check, which, I obviously had to deal with at a later point. The salesman could not figure out how to get me the bike. I advised them that I would just get approved on credit and then pay it all of in one go. They agreed to this. While doing paperwork the salesman said he would knock a couple hundred dollars off of the price for the bike. I thought, "Oh wow, a couple hundred dollars when 2020 models are already out, I had to Uber down (it was about the cost of the Uber), I got false information about inventory, nobody advised me that the name was changed for the website, I had to now deal with a cashier's check, and you think a couple hundred bucks is sufficient?" But we're not done. I then went to finance. Upon speaking with finance, they said that they would hold my credit app for a week so I could send them a personal check, which, to their credit, they did. They advised me that I would later receive my plate, registration and pink slip in the mail. After not receiving the pink slip, I contacted the finance department via email to inquire about the status. I did not receive a response for 6 months. I emailed them today, and they responded with a link for me to request a duplicate from DMV. Thanks. I would not go to this place again, even if they were going to give me a full ride sponsorship to GP. The owner was a nice guy, and so was the parts staff. The salesman are about as shady as they come and finance could obviously give two craps about me. Save yourself time and heartache and just go anywhere else. read more

Went to PI after seeing ad on Cycle trader...I own a 2003, imaculate, 100th Anniversary Harley Davidson Fatboy with a factory built 95" Screaming Eagle upgraded engine. Financed through Harley $7500 +$2500 labor in Nov 2017. 10 grand... Engine has 29,000 miles on it. Without any questions or a test ride and didn't examine the paperwork... The sales rep tells me bike is only worth $1800 on trade-in????? The rep was like 75-80 and saved him from a full verbal assult... Shop is in a swanky area and deal with alot well to do first time buyers so they get away with decietful sales practice's... Don't waste your time and stress oñ this outfit!!!! read more

When I was about 9 or 10, I got super-pissed at my parents, packed my backpack, stormed out of the house, and rode away on my bicycle. Mom called my bluff and already had a peanut mochi-ball ready upon my return 2 minutes later. Now that I'm an adult, when I'm angry -- like after arguing with my sweetie -- I storm out in a more mature way. Muttering something in Italian then speeding away on a red Ducati motorbike is so much more dramatic. There are only 2 Ducati dealers in LA: PI in Glendale and Ducati Beverly Hills. I shun shopping for anything Italian in Bev Hills. Too many snobs working there who feel like they're doing your sorry ass a favor by selling you their goods. Plus, Tom Cruise and Ryan Reynolds have already artificially inflated the Ducati prices in that part of town. Fortunately, PI's got some down-to-earth folks. Ameen was my dealer. Right away, I liked his attitude. Negotiating this purchase was less like squeezing testicles with pliers, but more like a sit-down meeting sipping tea. I asked him for a discount, and also to throw in some goodies for the fire breathing steed. He said yes, and also yes. Yeah, there were charges here and there as in any vehicle purchase, but nothing crazy and what ultimately mattered was that I was cool with the OTD price. I love this place!! Everyone here understands the importance of customer service, and, on top of that have some pretty smart and experienced people where it counts. I needed a very obscure rubber bracket for my 2003 MV Agusta F4, and found out from the dealership in the Bay Area (where I live AND bought the bike as well as loads of other accessories) that the part was discontinued and no longer available. I asked for any ideas, hoping someone would have a creative idea. Their suggestion: "look on eBay." Well eBay had Jack. So, on to Proitalia...their Parts guy, Erik T, noticed the part resembled a similar part on the older Ducati's. So, he pulled up the part and compared and sure enough, it's almost identical. He wanted to make sure it fit so, he actually went to his inventory to try it on an MV relay (the item the bracket was supposed to hold, and that he actually had in stock) and it fit!! On top of that, he logged in his system the alternative Ducati part in case someone else in the future needed the same part!! Great service, creative solutions through out of the box thinking...I love this place!! You want something, you need something, don't call anyplace else!!! read more

Buying a motorcycle is not the same as buying a car. When you make it about an Italian motorcycle then you can count the dealers in LA on one hand - and it becomes even less like buying a car, even a fancy one. I do not plan to get into a dealer comparison based on my shopping experience. To be fair, each local Ducati dealer has its own positive points and I am happy they are all here. My message is that for me, buying from Pro Italia (a first) was a simple decision. Everything they did was super pro (pun? sure). It was also in my style, no BS: here is the price, here are the finance numbers, done. They stated the facts and stuck with them... so I purchased at Pro Italia within 24 hours of my first conversion with them. Not sure what else to add of substance. I have now, as suggested, broadened my Yelp reviews from only dealing in Mexican food to now dealing with Mexican food and Italian motorcycles. Love it. I have called this place over 20 times trying to talk to the service department about service on my Aprilia that was bought from this location that has been serviced here its entire life. They have never called me back once over 20 times leaving a message even hitting the option to talk to the sales department after trying to talk to the manager trying to talk to someone like I was trying to buy a new bike they instantly transferred me to the service department which went straight to a voicemail. Totally frustrated at the lack of customer service to someone with a used bike from this place. Yes if you want to buy a new bike will they give a rats azz. This place is great in regards to purchasing communication. I initiated a sales inquiry online and their Dealer Principal Bill got back to me within several minutes. I dealt with Sales Specialist Michael and he was very pleasant and prompt in his replies. I don't know if it's always reasonable to expect a response in minutes, but it's good to know that they make the effort when they can. I ended up not getting the motorcycle there because it was a little outside of my budget, but I won't hesitate to deal with them in the future. Superb customer service goes a long way. read more

I am really sorry my budget did not allow me to buy a 1198 S Corse with a $25K paint job, but only a measly 999 that would not function properly due to non-pairing keys, and you are absolutely right. Service department review. Amount spent - approx. $1,900. Took 45 days...FORTY FIVE... for the 12,000 mile service. Next to no communication/updates. I'm talking emails that go unanswered for days, and calls that go to voicemail. This is after waiting three weeks to fit the bike into their schedule. The same day the bike was picked up, it had to go back in after I found a puddle of fuel under the bike. This was discovered after I rode it to work. Turns out they used a clamp that didn't fit right on a "new" hose. At $124 per hour labor, I expected better. Lots of negatives here. Expensive. Slow. Bad communication. Not the level of service you expect for paying a "premium". I'll learn to work on my own bike before I take it there again. read more

Rarely have I encountered a pompous ass, like the one who answered the phone when I called the service department. I called asking if they offered a service where they could install some wheel stripe stickers around my rim. He replied saying that it was too 'blingy' and 'we carry them but wouldn't be interested in doing that in our shop'.. like my ducati wasn't worthy of their service, a service that's done on so many ducatis, triumphs, and more. This is a current review I went back to give Pro Italia another chance. They are so damn close, and I like the owner. I had my bike serviced and it cost me a small fortune. The bike did run great when I rode it back home (New bands) The only thing is the charger cable fuse was blown. Which I replaced but over all they were much better, service wise. I bumped them to 2 stars from 1 since the service is improving and they actually had something I wanted. The inventory has improved and stop by and judge for your self. Tried ordering a seat for my ducati and they told me it'll take 10 days to get it in stock. Two weeks pass and I email them asking the status. "Still waiting on part from Ducati" was the reply. Another week passes and I email them. "Your part is here and will take a few days to ship out"... great... just a few more days. Nope... another week passes and no updates, no tracking info, nothing. I Email again... "I'll get on top of this first thing in the morning...." No response after that. Now a month has gone by and I STILL DONT HAVE MY PART!! I warn people never to take their bikes into the service department here. I took a bike in here for a routine service and emerged with an $800 bill, which kind of blew my mind. I normally do my own services with oil, filters, plugs, valve adjustment etc but I brought this bike into them so they could service the ECU, reset TPS, update the fuel map etc. AFTER MY $800 SERVICE MY BIKE RAN WORSE THAN BEFORE I BROUGHT IT IN. When I called them about this they were extremely difficult needing me to book an appointment in advance and threatening to hit me with more fees. Since my trust was already shaken I started trying to get the bike back to optimum on my own. I discovered that they hadn't done ANY of the computer work that was stated on my $800 invoice. My throttle position switch hadn't been reset and my map was an old out dated version. This was confirmed by an independent 3rd party and by Vespa Thousand Oaks, who, by the way, are really nice, easy to deal with and, in my opinion, trustworthy. In summation, this place overcharged me, lied to me, made my bike worse and were impossible to deal with once I discovered these issues. After sniffing around I have met a lot of other people with similar experiences. Don't have your bike worked on here. If you look at the Yelp reviews you will find that people here rate Pro Italia high in bike sales and very low in the service department. This skews their star rating. Maybe it's a sweet place to buy a bike but it's not a good place for service and maintenance. read more

Man. Where do I start? These guys were quick to sell me a bike, still haven't received my warranty paperwork and I bought the bike in 2012 and the warranty in the end of 2013. Here we are though in 2016 and I've paid my loan off. I go to my loan company to complete our transaction and secure docs for a title. To my surprise they don't have my title or any corresponding docs. I call Proitalia and they claim to not have anything. I bounce around from dealer, to DMV, to finance company to CA DMV for around a month and no one has answers. Finally I get the titling department from finance on the phone and they inform me of a Certificate of Origin. It is needed to initiate a title and Proitalia was supposed to give me something to this effect to present my DMV when registering the vehicle. So I call Proitalia and ask for this document and they swear they don't have it. Someone checks my original file and surprise surprise, there it is. The original CoO. At this point I'm about a month and a half out from paying my loan and wanting my title. I speak to a manager and she states that she'll send it to me. Me, wanting to get this process over with asks if she can overnight it. She's says no. I agree what is the point? I've waited 4 years and 3 months. What's another 3 days right? I get this and hurriedly go to my DMV and am eager to title. I get shot down again. Apparently I need an odometer disclosure. Again, another doc they had that was never sent with me and they wouldn't rush ship. This dealer has done a terrible job handling my issue and the fact that they neglected to give me the basic documents to get this done 4 years ago is absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself some trouble and buy a bike elsewhere. Don't rely on a place who's claim to fame is being on an HBO show. read more

I called Pro Italia because they're closer to me than the place I usually take my motorcycle. What a mistake on my part. I explained my issue to the guy in the service department, and his response was essentially that I'm an idiot for attempting to do work on my own motorcycle, and maybe, MAYBE, if I'm lucky enough, he'll be able to take a look at it. Even then, it's really going to cost me. But that's my fault and I deserve it. After politely telling the guy on the phone to fuck off, I took my bike and my money elsewhere. I have no doubt in my mind that Pro Italia would have been a HUGE pain to deal with, and it's absolutely worth my time to go somewhere way out of the area for service. read more

Multistrada 2015, had a DSS suspension problem and brought it in. Bought the suspension myself after diagnosing with Ducati and they took me in same day, same morning, swapped it for the new unit I bough of ebay and voila, all dandy. Rightfully they mentioned that they would not be responsible if the piece didn't work, being a second hand part I expected it. But the speedy welcome and having it done by the EOD was phenomenal.
