Taylor was incredibly patient, gentle, and engaging with my daughter the entire appointment. She took the time to explain each step in a fun way, asked about her favorite colors, and made sure she was comfortable--no rushing, no discomfort. The salon itself is clean, bright, and welcoming, with a nice vibe that didn't feel overwhelming. Taylor did a beautiful job on the nails--perfect shape, smooth application, and cute designs that my daughter is still showing off days later. They held up really well too! My nail design was quoted at an additional $60 dollars so I simplified to the same design did the same thing on 6 nails. The pricing is expensive but I was expecting it to be good. The design was to look like a shell but the 3D lines clear lines ran together and the nail tech cured it and was happy with the way it looks... I'm not sure I paid an additional $30 for a really poorly executed design. I'm overall just super unhappy with the look and my experience. I was pressured into up charges for colors and designs which I finally spoke up for myself and changed but I'm super unhappy with what was to be celebration nails.. they just do not look good- and now I'm fixing my own feet which was the whole reason I went for a pedicure.

However, the lady who did my hands cut one of my fingers to the point of bleeding and left a shallow cut on another while filing my side walls. The other side walls are all quite sore as she filed them all pretty far. The hard gel on at least one of my nails did not go to the end of my nail bed and I pointed this out (it looked like the filing had actually grooved down past where the hard gel had been and into my natural nail on top). She kept saying "it's fine. I'll just add more of the other gel later." I asked if it would grow out wonky or lift and she said "no, it'll be fine." She ended up added builder gel to that specific nail and then gobbed on the color gel pretty thick at the base of that nail. From far away they look cute but if I look closely the quality just isn't great. When I paid, the lady charging me asked "you don't want to leave a tip for your techs?" So I explained again what had happened to her and said I'd happily leave one for the lady who did my pedicure but not for my nails and as I really was not happy with how they turned out. She gave me the Venmo of the pedicure lady and said she was sorry and would talk to the other girl. Over all I felt everyone was quite dismissive as I expressed to both the lady while she was doing my hands and the one ringing me up that I wasn't with them but no one interested in doing much to fix it.

When I came in, I immediately knew the energy was off. Since I sat down, they were saying things like "oh yeah, she was late so she can wait for us". One of the other nail techs even say "oh feel free to charge her whatever you want" to what my nail tech said "yeah I'm gonna charge her $7 extra". They didn't know I was fluent in Vietnamese. I didn't say anything because I wanted to continue to hear what they had to say about me. They also asked me where I was from and if I lived in the area. I am assuming that they're asking this to gauge what my ethnicity is. Also, they kept bringing up the fact that I was late. If me being late was such an issue, why say that it was okay for me to come and that they are ready for me? At the end of the conversation, I asked what the charges for and they said the $7 was for callous remover. I just took it as that and didn't call them out on it. Right before I left, I told them in Vietnamese that if they were going to talk shit, make sure I wasn't Vietnamese and that people don't understand them. Their shocked faces made the whole experience worth it tbh. In short, these people are probably going to talk shit about you the whole time.

I was seated right away, water flowing in the foot bath. It wasn't too busy, and as a result, both my manicurist (who also happened to be the owner!) and my pedicure technician (Emi/Amy - not sure on the spelling) were able to take their time. Emi was so fun and gave an amazing massage - going to book her again next time for sure. Bonus points to the owner for putting on the World Cup game! Posh is located on Newport Blvd in Costa Mesa tucked in a corner of a small strip mall. Their sister salon is across the street, and they are able to easily serve their clients by sharing technicians and referring across locations as needed. Love how my manicure turned out and my experience overall. Excited for my next visit!
