If you are the type of person to go to a nail salon to relax, DONT GO. These workers will be talking in Vietnamese to each other the entire time, most likely talking about you. I was late to my appointment, which I called prior to coming in to make sure it was still okay for me to come. They assured me that it was okay and that they are ready for me. When I came in, I immediately knew the energy was off. Since I sat down, they were saying things like "oh yeah, she was late so she can wait for us". One of the other nail techs even say "oh feel free to charge her whatever you want" to what my nail tech said "yeah I'm gonna charge her $7 extra". They didn't know I was fluent in Vietnamese. I didn't say anything because I wanted to continue to hear what they had to say about me. They also asked me where I was from and if I lived in the area. I am assuming that they're asking this to gauge what my ethnicity is. Also, they kept bringing up the fact that I was late. If me being late was such an issue, why say that it was okay for me to come and that they are ready for me? At the end of the conversation, I asked what the charges for and they said the $7 was for callous remover. I just took it as that and didn't call them out on it. Right before I left, I told them in Vietnamese that if they were going to talk shit, make sure I wasn't Vietnamese and that people don't understand them. Their shocked faces made the whole experience worth it tbh. In short, these people are probably going to talk shit about you the whole time. read more

Called same day to ask if they could do an appointment. Tonie was the one I spoke to and she was very friendly, she told me to come 5pm then changed to 5:30pm and said she doesn't want to promise me 5pm then in case her current client is not done, I had to wait longer.. I came 5:20pm, she was finishing her work with the other client then she greeted me.. she asked what I would like to do, what color and designs. She was very friendly and talented! She took her time, she didn't rush, and she care about her job. The place is super clean, nice set up, very modern looking, and everyone dressed up super cute not like typical nail salons you go to. Went to this place for my nails, her name is Joyce I had the worst experience with her, very very bad customer service, she was very rude, and very disrespectful. When I went today for my manicure, I wasn't happy with one of my nails so I went back to ask her to change the color of just that one, she started getting very disrespectful with me and had a horrible attitude. I had my friends go there as well but they all had the same experience with her. She's not patients at all with her clients. Tonie has done my nails for a number of years now, and I love her new location (right next to Studio 4 Salon where I can get my hair done by the excellent Maxx Wells)! She has a wonderful selection of colors and gels to choose from and she goes out of her way to make sure that all of your needs are met and that the quality of your nails is top notch! My mani/pedi was spectacular (my usual conservative natural nails with a wild and delightful iridescent blue for the toes).
