The new owners are wonderful. I did not realize that ownership had changed while I was away at school, but I still am just as happy coming here. I always get french shellac on my nails and they do a great job every time! Also, before the new owners I had always gotten my eyebrows waxed, but the new owners suggested I do the threading and let me tell you... I will never get my eyebrows waxed again. Lucy does a phenomenal job and my eyebrows have never looked better. I go to school in VA so I can't come until I am on breaks, but you better believe come thanksgiving, I will be making a trip back here. I was sad that before I left for school I couldn't get my eyebrows threaded because Lucy was on vacation, so the only thing I would say is maybe hire someone else who can do brows! read more

This is the worst nail salon I have ever been too. It was suggested by someone I didn't know well to try this salon out and I will never go back. Very rude and rough with my nails. I want to go to a salon that makes me feel comfortable and focuses on my nails. They were all over the place. Very disappointed!! read more

This place should be shut down immediately! My daughter's both received pedicures there because their Aunt treated them to what she thought would be a relaxing fun afternoon together. The youngest daughter had a gel polish and three of the polished toes have completely come off already which was not supposed to happen for weeks and it's been 24 hours. But the more serious incident was the nail techs filed my older daughters toes so hard with the file that she sliced four out of five toes making them bleed leaving slice marks on her toes and dabbed them with alcohol! My daughters toes are red and swollen and she can't even put socks on. I had to bring her to urgent care and they gave me a prescription for antibiotics to have on hand in case her toes become infected. If this happens I will be filing a lawsuit against this business! I have never seen such careless work ethic in my life. Some of the nail techs were walking around with socks on or slippers with marijuana leaves on them. It was not professional or clean whatsoever. Their equipment didn't come out of any sort of sanitary compartment, they were all used. I am so upset , If I could give this place zero stars I would. read more

My pedicure was not the best. My nails are crooked looking and my nail polish was smudgey. When filing the woman was right up against my skin and it hurt but she kept going. She also took double the time it took my friends pedicure and I honestly don't even know why. She also kept pulling my leg and feet in certain directions making it very uncomfortable. The new owners are great! I had my eyebrows done and a dip manicure. This is the best my eyebrows have looked since moving to Maine! I spent twice as much at a local salon and the lady at Pro Nails gave them a cleaner line with no redness. Over a week later my manicure still looks perfect. I did make an appointment and I would recommend doing that because they were busy. When I came in having an appointment she was waiting for me. My new go to place for sure! read more

The work this place does is phenomenal. The new owner Sue did an incredible ombré dip on my nails and I couldn't be more pleased. She did not rush, she listened to my requests, and made suggestions that turned out great. I wish every nail place was like this. I've never had such a bad manicure and pedicure in my life. Somehow had a shellac manicure and regular pedicure in 55 minutes while the owner did my friends - which took almost 2 hours - and looked really good. No massage chair. No lotion or massage of legs. Very rough during filing and cutting of nails. Had to come home and use a pumice stone on my own feet. Manicure was the worst. Never put my hands in water, almost cried while she filed them. Never buffed them. Slapped the shellac on hap-hazardously and barely kept them under the UV light. Started texting twice during my manicure. Once again no lotion or massage. Had to come home and file my nails as they were rough and sharp. Asked the owner when she could leave, and grabbed her stuff at left at 5 pm before I even paid or tipped. Had to sit there and watch my friend get a better service done. For $60 I'm furious and I'll never be back. read more

Nails have multiple imperfections, poor customer service, my friend's nails took an hour longer than it should have and she had to tell them to stop. My Dip nails didn't even last a full week, stuff is peeling off and a nail already has a chip. I've never had dip last less than 4 weeks. read more

Worst manicure I have ever gotten. Nails were barely filed and polish was too thickly applied. Two different bottles of polish were tried and they both had to have thinner added to them. Will not be going back! It took over an HOUR to paint my child's nails with regular polish. Every stroke was painfully slow to watch, as she felt 4 coats would be best & the color still didn't show up. The nail tech also had to wipe down each side of her small nail with a big paper towel after EVERY stroke because she kept getting it on the skin ! Nails were not even filed or cleaned. After paying $20 which I felt was not worth even a penny, I decided my child would have done a better job herself. read more

After going to three nail spots across Biddeford sand Kennebunk today and seeing waits, i went to Pro Nail out of desperation for a pedicure. I'm about five minutes into my pedicure when the female owner came up to me and goes " Your skin looks horrible! So broken out! So bad! What's wrong with it?!" Such a horrible experience. Costumer service and basic human kindness was completely lacking. I called and asked for myself and a friend to receive dip. I told the woman on the phone that I would need a soak off before applying. She said they were too busy. I then began looking for another location when she called me back saying she had time if we came right away. Within 2 minutes of the phone call we were there and ready. She had us pick out colors and proceeded to do my friends nails. It was nearing the end of my friends treatment and I became anxious asking if mine should be soaking...it was at that moment she informed me that she didn't have time to do mine as well and claimed she never told me that she could do both. I was upset but left with my friend after her treatment was finished. There is no professionalism in this establishment and this proves it. Two days after my friend received her nail care every single nail was lifting. She went back for a refund and a removal. The same woman who did her nails immediately used her current customers around her as her stage and put herself in the victim seat. Lacking any kind of responsibility for her poor job she proceeded to tell my friend that she lifted her own nails on purpose because she was upset that I never received the nail care I was promised. She said "take your money and go" my friend stayed calm and said ok but asked how to remove the dip powder as she never had that treatment before. The woman humiliated her in front of everyone and shook her own nails in her face and said "just dip them in acetone." What a horrible experience. My true rating would be -10 stars. read more

Very disappointed with this salon this year. I've been going for over 10 years and this year its gone very downhill. Unprofessional. I had an appointment and they made me wait 20 minutes. I asked when i came in how long it would be and she said "Can you come back tomorrow?" Unbelievable!!!! With an appointment!! I waited, and when the owner finally took me she rushed through the manicure very quickly. Very poor job. I could have done better myself. The owner was neither apologetic for the delay nor friendly. I needed my nails done after having them done while on vacation. This is close to where I work so I figured it would be great to try. I do not plan on going back or recommending it to anyone else. I picked out what I wanted(I have that new powder they use to do nails now)which took me a few minutes since the selection was not what I was looking for. The guy was very nice but I noticed the color was dark and not a light lavender. I told him it was looking darker then I picked and he said, "Oh sorry, I picked the powder that looked like the color." I figured oh well, its dark and not springy but its still ok....but after looking at it once I paid and left its not great. Its kind of dull and already has a marred look on a few nails. Luckily we called Tracy at Pro Nails and she was so gracious to wait for us before they closed for the evening - in fact they stayed an extra hour just to accommodate us - that alone speaks volumes. Thu and Adne were amazing technicians and gave us one of the best pedicures that we ever had - and we've had hundreds . Not only was the service first rate and professional, everything was very clean and the energy in the spa was beautiful. I don't write reviews often, but this was a wonderful find! Worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon. Ridiculous wait time even though I called ahead and didn't walk in. During my manicure the man was on his cell phone half the time. I enjoy the manicure I received- but! I asked for the whole nail painted white, I got french tips. I asked for gel, I got nail polish. The worst part is I waited almost an hour when there was only 4 people there! It took forever to get a seat and then when i was about to get my nails done, this girl sits down in this seat without waiting and gets her nails done and it took me almost an HOUR to get it done! Disappointed, and when I left, my pinky chipped!
