I'm not one to put out bad reviews but when I just have horrible service, I have to because no matter what you have to stick up for what's right because if you weren't treated right, you never know who else won't be treated correctly let's get into the story so I decided to come to Bliss in Georgetown because it's been about six months and I received a coupon for 20% off first time I went I wasn't that impressed but it was alright but this time topped it for me to where I will not be coming back let's start off with the positive. I will say Kelly he did a great job on my pedicure and made sure I had something to drink so I truly appreciate him. Now let me get on why I won't ever be coming back so I had French tip acrylic nails. I just needed a fill first off Holly was trying to charge me $70 for a fill, which is ridiculous because they don't even charge that at the round rock bliss I let her know that it was overpriced and she told me it was because of the style I wanted, but if I wanted the basic style, it will be $60. I was like okay that's fine. She was really rude and rough when filing my nails as I sat there, she didn't offer me anything to drink or even ask to see if I needed a full set because they didn't have the correct color powder that I needed for a fill so my nail came out patchy so I ended up spending $125 minus the $65 for the pedicure because that was great but as far as in my nails, I was very disappointed I let the lady know I won't ever be coming back because she tried to fix my patchy nail but told me oh it's because it's the wrong powder like I'm the one that's doing the nails, which is ridiculous. Horrible customer service horrible communication because if they would've just let me know that I needed a full set cause they didn't carry the powder I would've been totally down, but they just decided to use a different powder that wasn't the same color as my nails already and then act like I'm supposed to be doing the nail or I'm supposed to know what powder it is. Just be cautious if you do come here because this is my second time and like I said I wasn't impressed the first time but I wanted to give them another chance but it's official Georgetown Bliss is canceled. I will not be returning ever again, so that's why I gave this spot One star and if I could give zero I would. read more

I've been coming to this salon for a few months and usually pay $65 for a French tip with almond shape. This time, I was shocked when I was suddenly told it was $80 for the exact same service. When I politely asked about the price increase, the nail tech responded in an extremely rude and loud manner, making me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable in front of everyone. On top of that, she kept cutting and burning my nails during the process. It was painful, and not once did she apologize or even acknowledge it. I was dripping blood she cut me so bad and all she did was tell me to wash my hands. The experience was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I'm honestly so disappointed this used to be my go to spot, but I won't be coming back after this. read more

We made appointments for the Duo Spa Deluxe Pedicure. Waited 20 minutes beyond appointment time. Started my pedicure 25 minutes after appointment time. It is listed as a 45 minute pedicure with foot and leg massage. He was done in less than 30 minutes and no massage. Husband waited 45 minutes for anyone to start his but he did get the full pedicure and massage. I also booked for a lip wax...30 minutes after my pedicure someone finally did my lip wax. I provided feedback on the experience and feel pretty confident it went in one ear and out the other..total lack of concern. read more

The $70 pedicure wasn't worth it, very rushed and the dips job is shotty at best. The color isn't consistent and she kept burning me. Not worth it, SKIP THIS PLACE. Super nice place with plenty of space. Had an SNS manicure done here. It was my first visit. The chair and table for the manicure was comfortable which I typically find is not the case when I'm getting a manicure. My technician was okay- nothing overly good or bad. Final thoughts on the manicure were average. Definitely had better but also worse. I plan to try again and ask for a different technician perhaps. Also would like to get a pedicure and see how it goes. This is my 5th nail salon to try in Georgetown and I'm still looking for the best! read more

I have been coming here for a few years now! I always get my nails done by Monica. She does exactly what I want... but fair warning they charge for EVERYTHING! Nothing is included. If you want your cuticles cut that's a extra $20. Gel polish extra $20, any little design extra $20-$25... last 2 pedicures were not good, I have been going there since they opened and I will not go back, the two older ladies need to be retrained. I had to go and pay for another pedicure somewhere else. They offered to fix some of it, but I didn't have the time and they made it super awkward and why should they need to fix it do it right the first time, so much competition and the owner just turned her back on me. read more

You need to go see Diane at Bliss. She gave me the best pedicure of my life today. Such attention to detail, VERY gentle and thorough. She also asked questions about what I wanted and did the most beautiful French gel I've ever gotten. She was dedicated to making it perfect! She is very nice and professional. The salon itself is gorgeous and relaxing. Saturdays are busy, but that is the case anywhere. I highly recommend Diane at Bliss! read more

Worst manicure (yes, just a simple manicure!) that I have had in 50 years, I am not joking. The woman rushed through the entire process, didn't let anything dry properly, and dismissed me after 10 minutes when things weren't dry. I came home and within 24 hours just took off all the polish because it was uneven, lumpy and disgusting. My grandchild could have done a better job. And the irony is that they ask you to pay, including a tip, BEFORE THEY DO THE JOB!!!! Presumptuous witches! This is the norm at this place rather than the exception. Don't bother coming here and don't be fooled by the sparkly lighting and zillions of chairs...most of them are emtpy,. That tells you something... read more

I've only been there twice and it was for SNS. Both times, very young men who were obviously inexperienced (checked in with other workers, took a very long time) and the nails turned out so-so. If you go, I'd recommend asking for an experienced technician. read more

Overall, this is a great place for a pedicure in Georgetown. They were very prepared and conscientious of making sure everything was sanitized and social distancing was enforced as much as possible. Their prices are reasonable and each service comes with a complimentary drink...nice! I recommend making an appointment but they also take walk-ins. read more

Had my first negative experience here today. After coming here for the last year and a half I expected more. I was communicative before I left the store I wasn't happy, especially with the charges. I came in with SNS and was leaving with a fresh set. I was charged $45 for a new set, $10 for removal, $5 for new tips, $5 for long nails, $5 for shape. In total $70 for this basic set of nails which were poorly done, twice the thickness of a credit card, half the nails look like duck feet. I asked for square but slightly oval. Disappointed, I would be happy to pay $70 if they looked $70 worthy. read more

Horrible experience. I just paid $175 and I'm having someone come take these fukin things off now! I told her and showed her a pic for my nails. Told her they're crooked too short and she told me. Wait til next time!! Not to mention 3 of my fingers are torn up! Ivy was my nail tech. I am so so so so so so disappointed!!!! read more

My mother and I love Bliss. We usually have Nancy and Ivy and both do a great job with SNS and pedicure. We have also had Lauren and Rosa and they also did a great job. I also have my brows waxed and they do that better than anyone I've had ever. Lots of extra attention. My mother is 94 and they are so sweet with her helping her in and out the chairs and helping her walk. I highly recommend Bliss. read more

Used to love this place, I drive an hour to come here. They have now turned into a nickel and dime you place, everything is additional charges. I just get a regular white tip acrylic set, french tip is an extra $25 on toes AND nails lol then if you want any length on the tips, it's extra. They use white paint for the tips which I've never seen before, you can see the brush strokes. Ivy was either having a really bad day or just is not friendly. Won't be driving an hour to come here anymore read more

Went to get a pedicure. They have you sign a wavier and wash your hands when you get there. Its really clean in there. The massage chairs are nice. And they give you a drink while you get your feet done. They are nice and have good customer service. The hot stone on the legs felt good ‍ read more

I made an appointment for 5pm on Tuesday, May 10th for a Timeless French manicure. When I got to the salon I arrived 15 minutes early and the Manager of the Salon had Ivy provide me with the service I needed done. 30 minutes into the service Ivy finishes taking off the SNS I had prior to the service. Keep in mind I showed Ivy the picture of the nails my client wanted me to have for my Photoshoot tomorrow (May 11, 2022) and she confirmed she could do it. Instead she makes the tips thicker than the picture and says that she's not done. I keep trying to look at my nails and she won't let me so I pulled away to take a look that way she doesn't get too far into the service and I get something I didn't ask for. After I explained to her how I needed them done Ivy gets frustrated and takes all the SNS off and says she can't do it and walks away. I asked the Manager if she can have someone else do the service and she says she can do it another day because she has an appointment with someone else which can't happen because I have a deadline for my Photoshoot. Ivy begins to speak in a different language very angry and walks away again so I had to make an appointment really quick somewhere else and walked out with nothing done to my nails. read more

Worst experience at this nail salon. They did not give me the color I requested or the nail shape. I was prepping for my wedding and they required me to pay and tip before my services were complete, which is unheard of. You tip based on the quality of service you receive, which allows them to deliver a variable quality of service since they already have their money. I was unhappy at the end of my services and they said "sorry we're closed" and refused to rectify the situation, so I came back the next day asking for them to fix it, and they charged me $45 more when they did a terrible job and required pay before service completion. This place...ain't it. Go to Venice or Linda's instead. read more

Unfortunately my time here did not make it past 5 minutes. My Experience was cut short when the technician made my mom uncomfortable and embarrassed. The nail tech was very unprofessional, there is a difference between not being able to do something for the customer and not being able to do so and making fun of the customer for something they were born with and can't help. If you can't do something, like a French tip, don't make the person who asked for it feel bad... just say you can't. I'm very disappointed with this place and hope they know that not only can they make someone's day, they can also ruin it. And unfortunately the second is what happened for us. Seems like other customers were happy and I hope they get treated with a little more respect not just as customers but as people. read more

Rosa is the absolute best. I drive from Round Rock to see her because the quality of her work is so stellar. My gel manicures easily last 3+ weeks and still look amazing when I go for my next appointment. DO NOT GO THERE!!!! They mix up the numbers so giving the wrong color altogether. They give completely different colors for toes and nails. They make the nail crooked and longer than the rest. They rush so hurting you one way or another in the process. The manager doesn't care and acts like she's being bothered. She probably put the phone down as I was explaining everything to her. I knew I shouldn't have left a tip. Trust me when I say this place is the worst. Don't waste your time. If I could leave no stars I would. One of the staff used that electric drum roller to take off toe nail polish and went way too deep, staying in one place too long all over my big toenails. Now that the polish has been removed by me, i have scraped up, patchy scratchy looking toenails and I have to wait several weeks, if not months, before the scraped up, scratched up toenails grow out. I'm so disappointed. I went last week with my elderly aunt for pedicures. I paid $100 for both. Hers was $40 and mine was a gel pedicure at $60. I realized when we got home the guy at the cash register took $40 cash from my aunt to pay for her pedicure while I was gone tipping my staff member. ( she's 97 and deaf and gets confused easily) He must have pocketed the money and not rung it up because when I called they said "they had no record of the transaction." Translate that to "we don't care about you loyal regular customer." It's unbelievable that a business would take advantage of an elderly customer like that. I know I should have been more aware of what was going on and kept a receipt but I did not. I never dreamed Bliss would rip me off like that. read more

The salon doesn't make me feel like I am just another customer paying for the job. It is more on a personal level, and I enjoy being able to have small talk during the service. I have been in Georgetown for 7 years and I would say I tried nearly every nail salon and this one is by far my favorite. I love sharing good service. I highly recommend this nail salon. I would also recommend scheduling an appointment even if it is your first time. I believe it makes it easier for the nail techs and you receive a better quality of service when you aren't just a quick walk in. If your not able to schedule in advice that's not a problem just please be patient because the service you will receive at the end will be phenomenal.

Cuticles weren't clipped even though he argued with me that they were and he most definitely did not clip them. All he did was file and buff. The tips aren't even and look very messy. Didn't get the lotion massage at the end. He says "i don't recommend it after cutting the cuticle." Which he didn't do. Still paid full price for a file and paint that i could've done myself. Then she put a small fan out for me to dry my nails. After about 10 minutes she came and sprayed something on my nails and told me I was good to go. Before I could get in and crank my car I had several indentations in some nails and smudges in others. I went back in and asked her to remove what was left of the polish disaster so I could continue my day.
