    Toes cut up

Went in for pedicure and Both big toes were cut during pedicure by Ethan. Then charged $76.

Today I went to this nail bar for the 3rd time and I truly love coming here each time. Every time I've come I get sat immediately and never have to wait. I got a gel manicure and an Organic pedicure with Leo. Leo was awesome for the whole service but the pedicure was the best and worth every penny. I've never tried chrome before but I know everyone is loving it so I wanted to give it a try. Just a heads up it's a $15 add on (I didn't know this until it was time to pay). The color is really pretty but it's more pink than the red I wanted as seen in the inspiration pic. I definitely will be back and I will be requesting Leo. The vibe in the salon is very modern and they will give you complimentary beverages (soda, water, wine).

I've been to Noire many times. Pedicures seem to be pretty consistent, but nails not so much. I don't typically do a negative review based off of one poor experience because everyone can have an off day. I started today with someone in the the front of the salon who got pulled to repair a pedi. Then, I got passed to Rose who I've had before and is extremely rough. My cuticles are raw and one finger was bleeding when I left. I will not go back for nails ever again. Woke up tonight to put medication on red areas, because they're so sore.

    My cavewoman nails

I just moved to Lakeland about a year ago and finally, after what felt like an endless search, declared Noire as my go-to salon. My mom would sit with Queen & I would sit with Hana. We made appointments every 3 weeks and I loved the bonding time my mom and I were able to have! On the day before my baby shower, I went in to find out that Hana no longer worked with Noire & Queen was already doing my sisters nails. They sat me with two different guys for both my pedicure and my nails. I asked for an acrylic overlay (but usually do dip) because I thought it would give me some sort of length on my short nails. This man kept filing until my nails were nubby, cut my fingers and cuticles multiple times, did not measure or compare the length of any of my fingers, did not suggest tips or tell me an acrylic overlay wouldn't give me the length I was looking for, NOTHING. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the length, he told me to stop biting my nails. I'm NOT A NAIL BITER. These are what I have to wear to my baby shower thick, uneven, beyond short, bleeding, fingers and nails. I've attached what I asked for (short round) and when he said my nails were too short to shape them that way, I told him square would be fine, and showed him the other picture.

I visited this salon for the first time today and don't get me wrong it was a great atmosphere and staff was very generous at first. I selected the citrus pedicure which was listed at 39 dollars. The pedicure its self was amazing. I then went up to the counter and the lady told me 62 dollars! Then got visibly upset that I only tipped 5 dollars. It's been approximately 3 hours and my GEL polish is already peeling.

Beautiful location, horrible technique. The people are really nice, they just have no skill.

    finished product

Pedi was fine but acrylic fill was awful. when I brought up the varying thickness of my nails I was told "that's what happens when you get nail design" when every single nail has the exact same design. shotty work at top dollar.

Messed up toenails. Fingernails are worse!

1 used to come here with my daughters. We all had some bad experiences with our nails afterwards, so we quit coming. A year later, I tried again. I had a horrible experience with my nails breaking and the toe nails turning a different color. I went back to have my nails fixed and the nail technician was extremely rude and put the wrong dip powder back on my nails. I asked for a refund and the owner, Alana told me she would redo everything again. I went back and Alana sent me to misa. Misa was extremely rude and accused me of swimming in the pool or putting spray tanning lotion on them. Which I didn't do! She was talking in her own language to another girl while both kept starring at me. Misa just buffed my nails and painted over the top. She filed them very rough, while giving me dirty looks. She repainted my toes and dropped the gel light on my toenail, deliberately and said, now I'm done! My toe nails look horrendous! Never will I go back. And anyone who reads this, please don't go here!! They are downright rude and very unprofessional!

Gorgeous and very clean. Very attentive service. My nails came out great. Loved the pedicure

    Acrylic set

I went in with a Pinterest photo and asked if they would be able to do it, and my nail tech Ben did NOT disappoint! He did an AMAZING job, he was so awesome, he worked quickly but didn't leave out a single detail. This was not my first visit here but it was my first time having Ben do my nails and he did amazing, I will absolutely be back to him for my next set.

Nice place, not the nicest tech who did my pedi, but maybe he was having an off day. I'd try it again.

Also the tech was not experienced and meticulous, nor detail oriented as I was assured on the phone. I had to ask for a few things to be fixed before she considered the nails "done" and still walked out of there looking like my 10 year old daughter did my nails. For $60 I can actually get a real professional manicure and rubber base with the color I wish to have. My tech was a younger girl, don't recall her name. Wouldn't recommend this place for people that are looking for a nice and classy manicure. Manicure was the worst service I've ever gotten. Cuticles barely cut, in dry hands, and hurt like hell. Literally done in less than 5 minutes for both hands. The rubber base was not applied properly. The person evidently never applied it before. Left bumps of all kinds nails look deformed. Didn't use the tool to smooth them out. Didn't attempt to fix either. Didn't clean up under the nails. Not a single hand massage. Not a drop of hand lotion after. Honestly, this place was one of my worst experiences, I'm 45 years old. Terrible. Owner shouldn't hire techs like the one I got. What I had done usually takes at least 2 hours, ANYWHERE. It's a fine job with super meticulous steps in order to look perfect, smooth and natural. This lady took 45 minutes max for the whole thing.

I arrived around noon on a Saturday. There were about 10 technicians and all had a client with them. I didn't really get greeted, but overlooked it and asked for sign in sheet. This salon takes appointments so I will suggest making an appointment for possibly quicker accommodations (I say possibly because I have noticed that even though some did have an appointment, there was still a short wait time). I requested for a manicure and pedicure and waited for about 10 minutes before I was escorted to a pedicure chair -- there was no one in front of me to be seated next. Even though I am explaining my initial interaction in detail, I expected a wait time as it was a weekend, and that's when most people have the time to also get pampered. I WAS OKAY WITH THE WAIT TIME. This salon also offers free WiFi for their guests. The basic pedicure was $25, and I cannot attest to what all is included in that because I chose the deluxe pedicure which was priced at $35. This included old nail polish removed, toe jam dugged up, cuticles trimmed, a nice sugar scrub from your knees down, followed by the paraffin wax for your feet, then a nice hot stone rub to your calves before finally masking your calves in a clay mask and wrapping them with a warm towel. The deluxe pedicure also offers you a free glass of wine or beverage, however I declined the offer. If you're looking for a nail salon that likes to punch and beat your calves and pluck your toenails, this may not the the one for you. While my legs and feet were basking in the warm towel and wax, he started working on my hands that had remnants of 2 month old gel polish. They soaked each finger with acetone and cotton wrapped in foil, and what I appreciate most about this place was that they placed one of those food handler gloves on each hand so that you can still use your phone! (Photos attached). I have gone to many nail salons in my lifetime and have never seen this. It also helps with acetone leaking from the foil and obviously the intense smell. Once he finished wrapping my fingers, he continued to remove the wax and towel and paint my toes as requested (I'm a creature of habit so I always choose French manis/pedis + it always matches whatever I'm wearing, and if I let my nails grow out, it won't look AS bad as a fully polished nail). After finishing the pedicure and polish, he moved me to a desk to begin my manicure. With the manicure, he gently removed my old gel polish, trimmed cuticles, buffed, and oiled my cuticles. THEN HE APPLIED LOTION AND PROCEEDED WITH THE HAND/FOREARM MASSAGE. I stated this in all caps because typically the lotion and hand massage comes at the end of the manicure service, however, I really enjoyed it before the hand-washing part because I usually don't like the oily residue that is leftover from them lathering up my hand with the massage and lotion. For context, I decided on a French manicure using regular polish instead of gel this time so I am not sure if the order of events will differ for a gel manicure. After he massaged my hands, I went to wash it off, and he finished the manicure with the polish. My technician was an older gentleman who was very kind and friendly. We kept conversation at a minimum in the beginning, because sometimes when people get pampered, they just want to relax. I'm the same way. I did warm up to conversation near the end of my experience. The pedicure itself took about 45 minutes, and the manicure was about 35ish minutes. I was there for about an hour and a half total because since I did regular polish, I wanted to make sure my nails were dried before taking off. I wanted to give this review my full experience, because it was the kind of content I was searching for when reading reviews. I was trying to compare the types of services offered, prices, as well as the "extras" that you can receive during your service (ie, paraffin wax, sugar scrub, etc). As for the environment, the space is pretty spacious. There are about 10 pedicure chairs and probably 15 or so manicure desks (I didn't really count). The waiting area consists of 2 couches and a few individual chairs. I cannot attest to how many different colors or gels or powders that they had as I was not looking for any colored services today. Upon walking in to your right in the center-ish is suppose to be a secretary. She was not there when I initially walked in but noticed her while I was having my services done. The technicians did chat amongst themselves to each other, but if you were on your phone or focused on something else, then it probably wouldn't have bothered you. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here and will most likely return (and probably will set an appointment ahead of time to avoid long wait times).

My pedicure did come with a complementary drink and I chose the wine , unfortunately the wine glass that they gave me was dirty, had someone else's red lipstick on it. That's how busy it was for her not to even notice. I still paid my decent tip and full price, I wasn't looking for anything free or handout but something would have been nice
