Went to the salon with photos of what I wanted that are attached and got something that looks like a child did my nails. I even told him and he "re-did" my nail, it still is awful! I was so uncomfortable I paid for my services that came to a $180!! When I told the nailtec I was unhappy he said to come back in at 5pm. When I came back in at 5, he refused to give me my money back and called the police on me! The person that did my nails was an awful person I do not recommend this place I will not recommend this place and I will recommend that no one go to this place! I don't normally post bad reviews unless I am extremely dissatisfied, so here we go. I set up an appointment at this salon for a pedicure and a fill. I arrived at my appointment on time and was seen instantly for my pedicure. As they were finishing up my toes, the lady that was doing nails took a client and was doing a full set, I didn't mind waiting a little but then as she finished with that client a new one walks in with no appointment and she too, needed a fill. Well she also took her before me. Meanwhile, I'm sitting in the pedicure chair for a half hour after my toes have been done. I got up, paid for my toes and let them know I had an appointment and she took two clients and left me waiting. I was very disappointed. read more

Every time I've come here I've left with a fantastic manicure or pedicure for an equally fantastic price. Every technician is gracious and kind and are enormously skilled with great attention to detail. Last time I went I got a gel manicure with gel color #9 (I looked at the bottle and it's called "BBQ"). Me and my BBQ nails look great. read more

This is a long over due review! We were visiting from San Diego over Thanksgiving vacation. Well I broke a nail while we were unpacking and I can't go a week without them looking their best So after reading reviews I decided to go here. They were able to accommodate me right away. Brought my MIL with me :) I don't remember the gentleman's name. But he was very professional, friendly and gentle. I was totally please with my nail! I visit many different salons all over San Diego and LA. And I've got to say he keeps up with some of the best from California. Small salon, small parking lot. But definitely a gem. Not fancy, which is perfectly fine - the shop is clean, hygienic procedures in place after each client. All professional licenses are on display. The pedicure tech couldn't get the bottle of polish I brought open, but gave it everything he had short of a wrench! I asked him to to pick a color for me that was close, which he did, only it was better. It was my fist visit so I chose the Classic Pedi. Their pricing seems to be standard in the area, altho more than I usually pay for a "regular", even in SCAL. Looks like they do just about every technique for nails and feet. I made an appt. which was good because they did get busy. People left looking pleased. There are times where I just want in an & out and today was one of those days. However, I got more than I expected which was a nice treatment, incl scrub, mini massage, and 10 min to dry. All under 30 min. Playlist was enjoyable, & better than having to watch Jerry Springer. Pedi chairs were tricky to figure out, but that might be user error. 4 mani stations and 4 pedi. Even with all chairs full and people waiting it wasn't noisy. 2 THINGS - they prefer cash which I totally support as credit card machines come with a charge for the Vendor. On the machine they give a choice for tip, which should always be cash. However, the choices are 1, 2 & 3%. People are touching your feet and hands. Anything less than 15% is disgraceful. Especially if you are happy with their work. As a former Stylist, this is an art and difficult work, even tho we do enjoy being in this field. I will be going back for the next level pedi and bringing a friend. I forgot to take pics but will next time - it was my first post quarantine service and it was great. read more

My hand is literally in pain right now. When the guy did my cuticles, he continuously cut my skin and started bleeding. Most of my fingers have an open wounds. Every time I wash my hands they sting. And yet the cuticles are not properly cut. I do not recommend this place. read more

I had a good experience at Pro Nails. I went in to get my nails done for my anniversary, and they turned out really nice. The staff was friendly and attentive. They didn't rush on my nails, which was great. I have felt like an inconvenience or rushed at other nail salons, and so it was really nice to feel cared for here. The only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars is because my nails were a little crooked on the sides. They looked gorgeous spot on, so no one could tell but my picky eyes! Worst experience I've ever had, complete lack of effort and all my nails are crooked. The color I got has blotches and you can see through the nail. He didn't even ask if I wanted shiny or matte, and when I asked him to straighten out the nails he just glared at me. At the end he asked me sarcastically "are you happy yet?" We walked in 30 mins before close today. They had already closed their card machine and were going to turn my husband and I away but then they said if we had cash they would take us. Thankfully i had cash on me and i said no problem. My husband and I wanted pedicures to finish our day of pampering celebrating 7 years together. They went above and beyond to take care of us. All the technicians I've had are talented and attentive. So the people are super nice and the first time I went in my nails were great but the many times I've been back while the people are friendly my nails have been awful!! The polish has peeled the acrylic has flaked and they have popped off days after getting them done. Called to see if I could get them fixed was told yes but I would have to pay the full price. worst nail salon I have ever been to wish I could give zero stars. The guy there was talking on the phone while he was doing my nails and then just got up and went in the other room without even saying anything and was in there for a while on the phone and when he came back he didn't even apologize. My nails were crooked and I kept having to have him fix them and he kept saying that he would file them and he wasn't done yet and they would look better when he was done but he put them on crooked so had to tell him to take them off and do it again and they still aren't to my liking but I didn't want to complain anymore then I already had. They are amazing! Pro nails has quality work and great customer service. I went in for a pedi and wanted to do a dip nail set and even though he had another appointment, he squeezed me in. My mani looked great and the appointment scheduled had 10 minutes in between my nails being done and their scheduled time. I highly recommend! Came here for the first time for a shellac manicure. They are under new management and they are super nice! I was very comfy and they even served me a mimosa with my service! Not super impressed with the quality of dip nails. Lumpy and thick. Also the job was done very quickly. I'm used to an hour plus at other places that I love and it took this place less than 45 minutes which tells me a lot about the quality. Also not super sanitary, especially as I went during the covid 19 pandemic. Didn't have plastic in the pedi bowls, dipping in the same powder as everyone else, not impressed. I went here because a friend recommended this place. I had gotten a hideous shellac manicure at a place in SE Portland, and I needed it off! The nail tech at Pro Nails was able to take me right away without an appointment, and she was able to redo what the other place messed up. She even gave me a discount because she felt so bad about my previous mani. The manicure she gave me lasted over two weeks without a single chip. She did a fantastic job. I wish I lived closer; I would definitely make this my go-to nail place.
