I was up from southern Oregon this weekend to celebrate 2 momentous occasions with my stepdaughter and granddaughter. I called Nails Plus this morning when they opened at 9 hopeful yet doubtful they'd be able to get me in same-day for a gel pedi. The owner was so sweet and accommodating! I got in at 1030, and was greeted warmly, offered a beverage and had a wonderful pedicure with gel done in less than 40 minutes. Thank you so very much for your kindness and lovely atmosphere! Not Freindly like other reviews stated, came with my gf and watched first hand the nail worker agree to a set and confirm the ability to do said set, halfway through they told my GF they couldn't do it and it was a "Miscommunication" what actually happened was they got a flurry of customers and since her set took longer they wanted to get her out as fast as possible. They lost a customer, a regular just to get another person in the chair. Then they raised the price to the alternative set. Take your business elsewhere read more

I've been a client of Lyn's for 7 years. Last week I arrive, I have an appointment with Lynn, only to find out that they sold the business and are not returning. So I begrudgingly had somebody else do my nails (because I had 2 broken ones) and long story short I will not return. Within 24 hours, without doing anything unusual, the same nails were broken! Also I was told by the new owner and would return on the 18th and I'll buy two other employees that they would not be returning ever... So they're not telling the public the truth. Not friendly! My appointment was at 4! I sat for one hr after my scheduled appointment! Had to go back and get my thumb nails done, paint had air under it and bubbled up! I asked for a discount on a pedicure since I had to return do to a rushed job on my nails! I asked for a discount on a pedicure? They say oh yes!!! I was looking for a new place around the area to get my nails done. When I arrived they weren't very welcoming. The man that did my nails did not do a good job and didn't take his time. It looked like he was in a rush. I got gel nails. The gel colors weren't in really good condition. My nails looked as if I had done them myself. And let me tell you that means they don't look good. My nails were filed unevenly also. I don't recommend this place for anyone looking for gel nails. read more

Just sat there for an hour with my daughters waiting our turn... a tech finally finished up with a client... a lady walks in with no appointment (she stated so) and says she needs to be waxed... the tech takes her right away. Yet there were 5 empty chairs for pedicures. Got up and left... what a waste of our day. I literally had the lady next to me, also waiting, complaining to me, and on the phone to those who called her, about the slow and disappointing service. I'm baffled as to why people put themselves through such crummy customer service. If y'all waited on the phone that long with someone you pay a bill to - you'd freak out... but sit in an uncomfortable chair inhaling fumes for a couple hours is no big deal. I've had better customer service at the DMV with a shorter wait and better results. read more

I've been going here for 9 years now. I've tried a couple other places that were closer to were I live and my nails would break or lift. My nails never break or lift when Ben or Lynn does them!! Yes they take their time and sometimes they ask people to wait a little longer, but that's the service you will receive when you sit down. Other nail salons turn clients away and Nail Plus always tries to YES to walk-ins. It's really sweet and as clients we learn be patient and fantastic work! I love them!!! read more

Great with kids! We came in for a pedicure for myself and my seven-year-old granddaughter. My granddaughter got nervous and began to cry. I was getting ready to stop her pedicure, but the guy was so good with her! He teased her and was very funny. She relaxed and was fine. Then the girl (I don't know their names) came over to put the polish on her. She did her toes, and then after I thought she was finished, she came back with more stuff and painted the most perfect, beautiful flowers on each of her big toes, with little rhinestones in the middles! They were so adorable! My granddaughter absolutely loves it! There was no extra charge, she just did it to be nice, and make her feel special. My pedicure was great too. Being in a state where you've never been and having to go to a salon is pretty scary. I ended up not being able to find the salon I was looking for and saw this one in hopes that they wouldn't butcher my eyebrows. The lady said it would be a few minutes, they looked fairly busy, but I didn't wait too long. She then went to town on my poorly neglected caterpillars I call eye brows. She was done in less than 4 minutes which made me very nervous. But when I got up and took a look they were awesome. I am a very satisfied customer. I came here with a friend to get a gel manicure, and a second time for a fill. At the time we didn't know the difference between acrylic and gel, and it wasn't until I later went to get my "gels" removed at another place that I learned what I had actually been receiving was acrylic (and the man who had been doing them for me was calling them gel the whole time, too). This wouldn't be that big of a deal except that we had been paying the price for gels, which cost a lot more! Since my friend and I were ripped off I definitely won't be going back, and I advise those who do go to do a little research beforehand and make sure they're getting what they're paying for. read more

This place is the WORST nail salon in town!! I do NOT recommend this to anyone. One of the employees did my acrylic nails and proceeded to cut them too short, and very crooked! She rushed through the job without giving me a chance to look at them well. When I complained to the manager, he told me that it was my fault because my nails weren't nice to begin with...but isn't that the point of going to get your nails done?! To make them look nicer! I was insulted and I am never going back. The employees were not helpful and do not speak english to each other. It made me very uncomfortable because I didn't know what they could've been saying. My friend and I made an appointment for 10:30 am this morning. We were not seen until 10:45ish, and they took my friend first and left me sitting alone for a little bit. Then when I was called up, they sat us apart from each other. The first lady I had seemed really nice, but then she moved me to a different chair (also not next to my friend) where a man took over for her. He barely spoke to me, and the lady who was doing my friend's nails barely spoke to her either. We were stuck watching golf on the tv (Why golf?! There's one male working there and you cater to females, not all of whom like golf!!), and when I asked them to do what i wanted to my nails, i was told that it would cost an additional 45 dollars just for the acrylics and then they wouldn't put any designs other than flowers on my nails. I'm not a flower type person, and I wanted something other than just tips. Also, because I didn't bring my own file with me, I was charged an extra 3 dollars for the one he used on me. So something that should have cost me and my friend $37, we were charged 33 dollars alone for just my nails!! My fingers are still sore 8 hours later, he super glued his hand to my fingers TWICE, All the stuff they used was older and had been used several times so they apparently don't restock often, My nails are too short, some of them are crooked and lopsided, wide and thick... obviously they don't know very much about what they're doing, or they just don't care. Either way, Neither of us will be going back there ever again. read more
