1/10 This is the #5 the Salon in Bakersfield , I've visited. This place only does ONLY GEL SERVICES. So I gave this spot a try. I like to know the 411 of their newest gels, colors & products they use. Cause i happen to know what I'm allergic & NOT allergic too. The guy didn't care what I said, his answer to everything or Maybe they used cheap lamp & products, yeah you definitely need your cuticles cut tp avoid more damage. I sat in my chair in disbelief what I was hearing He clearly didn't understand that , I've seen my dermatologist & I've been on ointment medications from being under led lamps on high heat & using products with chemicals that cause me dermatitis. Let's just say I ask too many questions that it overwhelmed the nail tech. HE Wasn't much of a talker , so I stayed quite till he finished. Paid & tipped him, then Left.. 4 days later !!!! the gel on my thumb ...started to bubble!!!! Because it's black! It's not so noticeable to the blind eye!!! But as I was writing a note , I saw it!!!! I can't recommend this place enough. I've been coming here for a year and I am satisfied every time! Coming from someone who is extremely picky, this is not something I will often say about a business. I've had different techs and they all do great. I just had a gel French pedi today by Tina & she did so amazing. The Frenchie was flawless, and her massage almost put me to sleep. The salon was full, yet didn't seem overwhelming. Was in town and needed a mani/pedi found this salon of yelp as it was just minutes away. I called to see if they accepted walk ins and they did so I headed right over. I was welcomed warmly and taken to a pedi chair right away and was serviced by Mercy. The salon is undergoing some construction however was very clean and tidy. Mercy was lovely, gentle and listened to what I wanted for the pedicure and I was/am very pleased even after 2 weeks, no issues. She also did my mani however I wanted gel manicure and she insisted on dip because my nails were so thin. I think they were thin because the way they file off the gel with the drill instead of soaking it off as I have had in the past. I had her cut them down quite a bit as they were to long for me and she went a little shorter then I asked, but regardless, I agreed on the dip and again, I am very pleased with the job she did. They are holding up nicely. Not sure I will go back the upsale cost me 110.00 (+ 10.00 tip) for the dip and the pedi... the most I have ever spent, (30.00 more than expected) and not in my budget for on a regular basis. Sad to be leaving a bad review but I had a bad experience today. I convinced my best friend to go with me to get pedicures together & got seated right away. I showed Kathy the pink French tip I wanted and she didn't pay too much attention & just said okay. She started, everything was going great until she went to trim my cuticles and cut off a piece of my skin to the point where my toe would not stop bleeding. It was so bad she kept wiping my blood off and rinsing her hand with the pedicure water. I didn't want to make her feel bad so I just kept saying it's okay. Once she started doing my French tip, she grabbed a white nail polish after I had told her I wanted a pink tip. So again, I stopped her and said "Oh I'm sorry I said I wanted pink tip". She looked at me like I was dumb and said "I know you want pink". So I let her keep going until I legit said to myself there's no way she understood or paid attention to the picture I showed her. So I stopped her AGAIN and said I want PINK not white. I showed her the picture AGAIN and she finally was like Oh. She shows me 4 different pink nail polish colors and I choose bubble gum pink. She grabbed a HOT PINK and asked "This one?" I said No, I want the one I chose. She finally got the one I pointed to and with a annoyed smirk said "ARE YOU SURE" as if I was the one who didn't know what I wanted. My friend and I both got the same package and she got a 10 minute massage while I got nothing. After 3 visits, I feel it's fair to review. Each time I had 3 different male nail tech's. The first tech was probably the best from all 3, but I don't see him anymore when I do walk in. The 3rd visit I added pedicure to my nail fill service. The pedicure menu only offers the "high" priced pedicure that have things like Sally's removal and 5 min massage stating it's a 30-minute pedicure. All I can say it was the least satisfying pedicure I've ever had. The callus removal was thee most minimal effort I've ever experienced! I feel they just want to hurry up take your money to move to the next. While u was getting my nails done I heard other customers complaining about how their nail tech was messy or how they kept asking them to fix something I truly feel PRO NAILS owners need to better select their nail techs, also train them to CATER to your customer needs, without customers you without business. I heard enough people complain to know that eventually this will affect your business. JUST DO BETTER! read more

This place is horrible. They charge insane prices. I paid 115 + 10 tip for my daughter to get her nails done. She had rhinestones on her nail and by the end the night they had all fallen off. So we had to go back the next day and have them glued on again . Then one week after getting her nails on one nail already came off. They false advertise how great they are, and they can do almost any style you ask for . The nails my daughter was quoted for was nothing like she got. Never again will I go here . This is the second time I tried it in 3 years and its still horrible service, Horrible work, and a dirty environment . Don't fall for their Instagram and all the pics . I got a damaged nail bed on my middle finger and possibly my index finger now too ! I couldn't sleep for two days, could barely do work tasks without feeling like my finger throbbing! I've had issues with people getting frustrated with me, which I understand, but the person who was helping me was quite nice. If I could have give 0 star I would have. She treat client horrible. The lady who manage the salon have a horrible attitude. I had my appointment with Jasmine at 3:00 and I called at 2:50 that I will be there by 3:05 and which I reached jasmine was with different client. Can't beat jasmine service and work. She is the best. But the manager is horrible. She got mad and didn't accept her mistake and said "get out". I been their client for over two years and send many clients to her and give good review in the past. Over the time I have seen the manager becoming greedy. She only care about the money not the customer. Accepting only cash and get mad when send money via Zelle. Cash is easy way to hide from IRS and she don't have to show all in taxes. My mom and aunt got their simple manicures that literally took less than 15 minutes and not all the cuticle was removed. My gel manicure was going pretty good until the polish was added. I thought giving everyone a chance for doing acrylic nails would be okay, because everyone different with the shapes but the only nail techs that are gentle , precise , and do good customer service is Jasmine and Jen. The vibe there? Every time i go theres always an uneasy tense feeling from all the rest of the workers. Last set i had (2 weeks ago) there were literally 3 workers hovering over Sam doing my nails and he left my nails so f-ing chunky, thick af and lumpy. So , that is the last time i go there. First off I want to say that I really like the nail color and the nail shape. The staff are also very nice. I would give it a 2.5 but I didn't feel that my experience granted a 3. I came in for a gel extension and I was disappointed in the process. I will never come back for a gel extension and I highly recommend not to come here for one. I've gotten gel extensions in the past and I even do my own nails from time to time. I know I'm not a professional and I like to get gel extensions at a professional place because they know how to properly put them on and the nails will last. Unfortunately, the tech I was provided with either had a bad day or has never had experience with putting gel extensions. It seemed like she watched videos on tik tok and had an idea on how to put them on. She over glued the nails to the point where glue was coming out of the nail and sticking to my finger tips. This can cause allergies to the glue. I brought this up 3 times during the nail process. I even brought it up before she had glued every nail on to bring it to her attention. She continued over gluing the nail. She told me she would fix it, so I put my trust in her because she's the professional. She did file the glue down but the glue was still stuck to my fingers. I brought that up multiple times as well. I was about to ask her to take them all off but I was honestly afraid she would do even more damage to my nails. I'd rather just soak them off at home. At that point I didn't trust her experience with gel extensions and waited until I could speak to someone else. Like I said the color and shape were great and she took her time on making them look pretty. I'm aware that getting fake nails is not healthy but when done properly there shouldn't be too much damage to the nail. This was just sloppy. I spoke to another woman and she was able to file down the glue under the nail and the original tech reshaped and colored my nails again. I really tried not to cause a disruption in other peoples experience, but there place is under construction and it's cramped inside. During the removal of the color, the original tech did cut one of my fingers. The nails did turn out pretty. I did pay the original price, was satisfied with the color and shape, and they did give me a gift certificate for next time. Again, the staff were nice and did their best to rectify the issues I brought up. My main concern is the overall health of my nails and for others who come for gel extension and may not speak up. I will never come back to this establishment for gel extensions but maybe I will come back to try a pedicure and will give an update. read more
