During the neck massage, she did not seem to know the correct areas to focus on, and it actually left my neck feeling more sore afterward. However, when I arrived, my experience at the front desk was a bit different. As some other reviewers mentioned, the gentleman at reception did not seem particularly friendly. I requested a male massage therapist, but he looked at me and asked the same question twice, which felt somewhat uncomfortable. The massage therapist himself did a good job. He clearly has solid technique and was skilled in his work. Most of the session focused on my shoulders, upper back, and lower back. Before the massage, I was asked which areas I wanted to focus on, and I selected those areas, so that may be why the treatment was concentrated there. That said, in many 90-minute massages I've had elsewhere, therapists typically spend some time on the entire body and often have the client turn over near the end for head, face, neck, and front shoulder work. This session remained heavily focused on the back and shoulder areas, so I wasn't sure whether that was the therapist's style or simply because of the focus areas I selected. Overall, the massage quality was good and the therapist was skilled. My main suggestion would be to improve the front desk experience and to better explain how a "focused" session is structured so clients know what to expect before the treatment begins.
