They were so careful with our home, furniture that needed some moving, and the PTAC units, and when they were done, they left our home the way it was and cleaned up after themselves. They have my Presto Mixer machine in their store for over 10 days now since they received the new parts from the manufacturer (with that we add another 20 days since they came to my restaurant and picked it up), I call every day at least twice and every time they come up with a different excuse: wrong part received, the machine needs to be tested (a Ferrari would be hand-built and tested twice by this time) and I have been told lies from everybody there: Kate, Sergio and even the owner, saying they will deliver the mixer the very same day or the day after. Now they don't even pick up the phone anymore, guess they ran out of excuses. The truth is I start thinking they don't even know how to fix it, but for sure they are very good at hiding it. If you look at their website, they make you believe that Sergio ( I guess is one of the owner) could be easily working as an engineer for N.A.S.A given is formidable skills and knowledge. Again, is so sad that companies like that are allowed to treat customers the way they do, even sadder that their number had been provided from the MVP manufacturer who couldn't care less in which hands they are putting you. I had been having a big problem with my heating system for about 4 months. I called my gas company, PSE&G, and they came at 7:00am. They left my house around 7:30 a.m. and they turned off my boiler. They told me my problem was related to plumbing. They urged me to find a certified plumber and wrote down for me the parts I needed to have replaced. They reiterated that it should be done ASAP as it was EXTREMELY dangerous if I turned on my heat because the "expansion tank" could explode. I've heard too many scary stories about some plumbing companies out there so I was afraid to call anyone. I had used SergTec before for different electrical needs so as soon as the PSE&G guy left, I contacted the SergTec office number (I think the office was not even opened yet) and I left a message, explaining my situation. I had no idea SergTec also does plumbing work, but I was desperate and very scared. About a half hour later I was contacted by Mr. Sergio who told me not to worry. He asked me to give him some time to locate which of his technicians might be working nearest my location (I live in Township of Washington, NJ). He called me back about 15 minutes later to inform me that two of his tech guys (Fernando and Jan) would be coming by my house within the next two hours or so. To my RELIEF, and shock, at 11:00 a.m. sharp, the SergTec van appeared in front of my house. They got to working right away, and as it turned out, Fernando and Jan encountered a much larger problem--one that took them a bit over four hours to correct and perfect. And a great job they did! These guys were amazingly thorough. They are knowledgeable, very competent, and down to business. I was impressed with their politeness, respectful ways and strong work ethics (they kept refusing my persistent offers of a drink..i.e. a glass of water or tea or coffee)! They truly went above and beyond to complete the job. It was my experience to witness that SergTec runs a great team which demonstrated excellent communication habits between the technicians and Mr. Sergio.
