Highly recommended. Mike is both knowledgeable and passionate about his business. We had a great experience, and would recommend ProCraft to anyone. We're about to have our house re-roofed, so having a termite inspection done prior was important to us. We noticed some termite activity in our eaves, so it was important we have an inspection done to determine treatment as well as identify any wood that would need to be replaced by our roofer. ProCraft was the second company we had contacted for an inspection. The first company provided a very affordable quote as it was determined only a local treatment was necessary (yay!) To be safe, we contacted ProCraft to provide their own inspection, provide a 2nd opinion and recommend service. Mike at ProCraft was so much more thorough than the inspector from the first company. He spent more time inspecting our attic than the first guy had spent on our attic and exterior combined, and took as much time and care inspecting the exterior of our home as well. He located more areas of activity, provided photos and a detailed graph clearly noting what he had found. One area in our attic that the 1st company had noted as evidence of termites was actually cricket poop (we had a cricket issue one summer about 5 years ago, so this made sense.) He showed me the areas on the outside of our house that needed to be addressed, even pointing out tiny holes in some exterior rafter tails which were evidence of termite activity. Mike knows his business and has a keen eye. After the thorough inspection provided, we chose to hire ProCraft - easy choice. Both quotes provided (local treatment & tenting) were reasonable (we chose local.) Our experience was great. I had a low key ant invasion in my house. Procraft came out same day (!!) and put bait inside and treated the entire yard outside. They were running a little late and called to let me know. The guy who came out seemed to be very knowledgeable and identified two different types of ants in our home. Since procraft came out we haven't hadn't any further issues. We signed up for their 4 times a year service. We'd been trying unsuccessfully to treat the ants ourselves. I don't know what they used but literally within 24 hours 95% of the ants were gone. I saw a few stragglers the following day then NONE since. I'm so impressed! I will say, the bait drew the ants out like CRAZY and they were swarming the traps and it was really gross. Moved in the area this year and as soon as summer hit, I started to get ants in my home. I've never had ant problems before and I literally tried everything you can think of to get rid of them. Bought various ant sprays from Lowe's, diatomaceous earth, homemade vinegar sprays, and even those ant bates and it didn't solve my issue. I started to get ants at the corner of my ceilings and I would get random small blackish brown little crawlers. After a few months of constantly battling ants all over my house, I finally gave in and searched Yelp for a local pest vendor. I was on the phone with different pest companies asking the types of service they offered and how quickly they think this issue would get resolved and my husband was next to me unconvinced. ProCraft was the second place I called and they were able to come the next day! The gentleman that answered was very helpful and thorough at explaining the services they offered to help resolve my issue. Patrick came the next day and explained their services with us and got to work. He explained to us that the sprays we purchased from Lowe's were essentially useless. They would kill them at the moment but do not deter them. Ants started to crawl at higher grounds like our cabinets and counter tops and walls because I was spraying the floor boards with the sprays. He sprayed all around outside our home and told us where the bugs and spiders were coming from. He placed ant bates where ants can be visibly be seen and told us to give it a few days and if our issue doesn't stop, to let them know. Let me tell you, within minutes after placing their ant bates, more ants started coming. However, within about 2 hrs there were no more ants in site!! It's been about a week now and we haven't seen ants, spiders, and or bugs in our home. I can't believe I didn't call them sooner. Moreover, they only need to come out on a quarterly basis and always contact me a day in advance to remind me of their scheduled service. No more ants inside the house! And the number of spiders inside and outside the house has dramatically decreased. I can't say enough good things about this family owned business. Everything was handled in a timely manner and very professional. The inspection was extremely through and all items were taken care of at the time of service. The owner of the company, Mike, actually came out twice. The initial inspection was done by Mike while I was tending to medical issues. I called him to return to go over the areas he found to help me make my final decision to hire them. He is a very down to earth type of guy who has no issues explaining whatever part of the job the homeowner may want clarification on. His price was very reasonable and he helped me with another 2 small issues I was having, replacing a roof tile that may have caused more damage to the area that had to be repaired. The carpenter/contractor he used to do the repair work was wonderful, his name was George. What a craftsman! He was old school, being meticulous about the repair work that had to be done and taking pride in doing a great job for the customer and giving you value for all the time he spent in repairs. A lot of it was removing bottom tiles and replacing the wood, then replacing the tar paper and any additional damaged wood before replacing the tiles. When he was finished, it looked like I had a new roof. George did all of this during the week where it was blazing hot. He brought in all the necessary equipment he needed to get the job done right including materials. His woodworking skills were evident in all the exterior woodwork he replaced. I also had Mike spray for spiders and insects. It was amazing how many spiders we have this year. So far, I haven't seen a spider, guess they visited my neighbor's yards. As you can see, I highly recommend ProCraft, they are a quality business and they value each and every customer. Most homeowners, myself included, usually get 3 estimates before selecting a company to do the job, my recommendation is at a minimum, let ProCraft be one of the businesses you call. Just had mike out to the house (after firing western exterminators a month ago) I can't even begin to tell you the difference in service between the two. Mike shows up, explains a little of what he's going to be doing (which was significantly more than western would do - deweb eaves , patio furniture, etc, spray interior, exterior, and garage, AND spray outside away from the house as far as front sidewalk to keep ants down, as well as dropping some kind of crystals in the front and back yard to kill off any hatchlings of certain pests.) After explaining that, he asks me if I have any questions? I didn't really have any and had him go to work. While he's working inside, I asked him some questions about the materials he uses and his history in the trade. He explained that he had worked for a couple of the "big boys", that he was aware of many of the unscrupulous practices , and that he had started his own family business a little over 8 years ago. ProCraft responded quickly to my quote request via Yelp re: a house flu infestation that developed over a 24 hour period. I was convinced it was due to a dead rodent in our crawl space as we had caught a few rats recently. I communicated with Luke over messaging and he was very helpful in trouble shooting the problem. I was desperate to hire someone to inspect the crawl space and he suggested pouring an enzyme cleaner down all the drains before hiring anyone as he did not think it was a rodent. He was totally right! The cleaner resolved the issue. I ended up inspecting the attic and crawl space myself and confirmed no dead rodents. He saved me a lot of money and I appreciated that he was honest and didn't try to take advantage of my desperation over the situation. Mike got rid of termites from my mother's home. He injected pesticide into the foundation instead of a tent. The tent didn't work when an another company used a tent several years ago. Mike told me tents are a temporary fix and didn't want me to waste my money using a tent again. He gave me a 2 year warranty and told me he will come before the warranty is up to give additional free service covered under the warranty if the termites come back. He came back before the two years were over just like he said and reinspected the house to give free service if the termites came back. The termites are still gone. We had a swarm of termites inside our house a week ago so I went to Yelp to find the highest rated termite companies in my area. Quote requests were sent to multiple companies on Sunday night and ProCraft was the first to respond (by Monday morning). An inspection was scheduled a few days later and Darren was so thoughtful to give me updates on his eta even prior to our scheduled time. That was super helpful since I was leaving work to meet with him. Darren arrived on time and went way beyond my expectations by meticulously inspecting the interior and exterior of the house along with all the attic space and crawl spaces.
