Instead, I was told immediately that I "needed" Invisalign. Dr. Sumayyah Khan flat-out said she could do nothing about the chipped teeth. That's unacceptable! From the start, the entire visit felt like a high-pressure sales pitch, not dental care. I was rushed and bombarded by the doctor and staff, and the focus quickly shifted to pushing Invisalign instead of addressing the actual problem I came in for. The quote was $4,000. It was never addressed by Dr. Khan in prior visits until I came in for an "emergency " visit. It was an insulting for the benefit of their office commission sales. Bottom line: I felt dismissed, pressured, and not properly evaluated. If you want a dentist who prioritizes patient care over UPSELLING, go somewhere else. I do NOT recommend Smile Studio 87.

I had this fear that the entire tooth would fall out and quickly turned to Yelp to find any dentist in the area that would be open on a Sunday. That was when I came across positive reviews for Dr. Baek at Healthy Smile Dental. Their operational hours listed was 9:00AM-3:00 on Sundays so I called at 9:01 pleading to seen. The receptionist was very kind and was able to fit me in at 10:30AM so I quickly rushed over there. They had me seated and took x-rays to show if there was any nerve damage. Dr Baek explained that there was a possibility of another filling falling out since the tooth wasn't as strong from prior fillings and the tooth next to it had a small fracture in a filling. Rather than just patching the problem up temporarily, she gave me a permanent solution that would still save my teeth from potential nerve damage and having to get a root canal down the road. She discussed getting a temporary crown and the process. Throughout the procedure she made sure to check on me and we made a follow up appointment for 3 weeks to complete the procedure. So grateful for a knowledgeable dentist that is open on Sundays!

I will no longer be a patient of Dr. Ligotki Dental Group. On July 10, 2026, I was scheduled for a…read moreroutine cleaning. I knew that it had been less than six months since my last cleaning. After taking several x-rays, Dr. Ligotki realized that I was not actually due for a cleaning. Instead, he checked my gums and various teeth that may pose problems in the future. He also discussed a pre screening cancer treatment that insurance companies don't like to pay for but he did the pre screening on my mouth anyway. He told me to continue to use his prescribed oral treatment rinse and to schedule a cleaning in four months. When I began to reschedule my next appointment, I was told that the services for the day were over $400! I reminded her that my cleaning should be covered 100% by insurance. She acknowledged it and quoted me $274 for the visit. I asked her to explain this cost and she said it was for the oral rinse and the cancer screening of my mouth. I did not ask for the screening but I assumed that it would be billed to my insurance. As for the two step oral rinse, Dr. Ligotki told me that it is a prescription. I thought that he would write me a prescription but instead, he took the bottles out of a cabinet and put them in a bag. He went back to an exam room and let the very confused receptionist try to explain the cost of my visit. The two bottle rinse would cost me $180! I was not going to buy THAT product! My total bill was $94 which I believe was for the pre screening cancer test. He obviously never intended to bill my insurance company for the test and passed the cost onto me. Loretta Huddleston
