Please read!…read more I have been getting my nails done since I was a teenager, and I can honestly say this was one of the worst nail salon experiences I've ever had. I came into this salon for the first time with long, healthy natural nails that had gel builder on them. I left with my nails completely ruined. Julie aggressively cut my nails down extremely short without listening to what I wanted. She cut them so short that my skin was exposed, and several of my fingers actually started bleeding. I was shocked. In all my years of getting my nails done, I have never had a nail technician cut my nails to the point of making me bleed. What made the situation even worse was that after my fingers were already bleeding, Julie continued to file my nails. She then proceeded to put acetone on all of my fingers, including the areas where my skin had been cut open. The burning and pain were unbearable. Instead of stopping the service, checking on me, or asking if I was okay, she kept going as if nothing had happened. To make matters worse, she then attempted to put some type of glue or ointment directly onto my bleeding finger without explaining what it was or asking for my consent first. I had to stop her myself. I was honestly in disbelief that this was happening. My fingertips are now extremely sensitive to touch, throbbing, and painful. Simple things like washing my hands, typing, buttoning my clothes, or accidentally bumping my fingers hurt. I walked in with beautiful, long, healthy natural nails that I had spent a long time growing out, and I walked out with bloody, uneven, painful nails that look nothing like what I came in with. I brought my concerns to the manager, Alicia, hoping she would take the situation seriously and offer a meaningful resolution. Unfortunately, she wasn't very helpful. I left feeling dismissed rather than cared for. There was very little empathy or accountability for the fact that a customer left injured after what should have been a routine nail appointment. I will be attaching before-and-after photos so others can judge for themselves. The pictures clearly show the healthy nails I came in with compared to the damaged nails I left with. I would absolutely not recommend this salon based on my experience. No customer should leave a nail appointment bleeding, in pain, and regretting their decision to come here. If this is the level of care being provided, other clients deserve to be warned before trusting this salon with their natural nails. I genuinely believe Julie needs additional training and closer supervision before working on clients independently again. A basic nail service should never result in exposed skin, bleeding fingers, acetone being applied to open wounds, and a technician attempting to place an unknown product on an actively bleeding finger without first obtaining the client's permission. What happened was not just disappointing--it was unacceptable. Save yourself the pain, frustration, and heartbreak of having your natural nails ruined. I wish I had never stepped foot into this salon.
