This is a follow up review to my recently posted critique. On my return to this establishment post surgery, I was assigned a different therapist. (I truly feel your experience with any provider, auto, painter, plumber, has more to do with the specific provider of service, than the company or owner). To date, I have religiously attended twice weekly sessions for about 8 weeks, with at least that amount of time to go prior to termination. My experience this time has been superb! My therapist has consistently, expertly and sensitively worked with me so as to improve my level of post surgical functioning. I am more than pleased with the help I have received. My son requires PT due to a recent knee injury. The orthopedic Dr. Recommended this PT center. The facility may not have the most new and modern equipment but they do have plenty of equipment which are clean and well maintained. Like I mentioned earlier this place is clean! I see the staff wiping and disinfecting the equipment after use. The staff in the check in area are friendly and scheduling future appointments were a breeze. There is free wifi available too. My son has the pleasure of working with Christopher. The Dr. requires quad strengthing and range of motion exercises and Christopher ran him through the paces, he also gave him online exercises to accomplish at home. I can see Christopher cares about his clients well being and just doesn't go through the motions. There is a private parking lot in the rear which is a plus. Due to Covid restrictions you must mask up before entering the facility and have your temperature checked before entering the workout area. This place gets busy so book early for future appointments. Major insurances are accepted. I highly recommend this PT facility as you are guaranteed to receive quality treatment without compromise. No wonder why they call themselves Professional Physical Therapy, the name fits the organization. read more

I have been coming to Professional Physical Therapy for around 8 years or so now due to my various surgeries and I must say, Constance Angelopoulos has been nothing short of amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable in how to properly get me back onto my feet. Her conditioning exercises and how she guides me how to properly perform each one has been a godsend and I cannot thank her enough for all the work, love and dedication she exudes when she works with clients. You guys are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful PT under your group. She's a keeper! read more

I started physical therapy at Professional PT following a major knee surgery, and worked with Tawna, Neil, and Phil for nearly 5 months. They were able to take me from being unable to move without crutches to walking, running comfortably, and doing exercises in the gym, despite complications throughout my recovery. Today was my first appointment for a six week treatment of my neck, back, shoulder and and arms. While i had been under treatment with the Manhattan office ( physical therapy office located at the equinox gym at columbus circle) the PT assigned to me Farrah was knowledgeable, concise and energetic as she had multiple patients at the time I went in. I usually take the 7am or 730am sessions before work and today was no different. She focused on providing advise and showing me new exercises to strengthen arms, shoulders and the massage at the end really made a difference to the point I did not need ice. I did arrive early 650am for my 7am appointment as it was my first time. The process of checking me in took almost 20 minutes as they had to locate my profile from the Manhattan office. Previously when i booked my appointment over the phone I explained that i was already a customer; except that the person in the phone probably did not attempt to find the medical notes from the previous therapist. Otherwise she would have known that my file was closed. I was disappointed that Saturday hours are very limited but it is closet to my home. I have a total of 18 sessions, i will update progress as we move along. My session today took longer than i expected as i walked out of the office after 830am. read more

Very rude. When there's no supervisor on site the stuff has no idea what to do with new patients. I would not recommend this location to anyone! I have been receiving physical therapy at this facility since April post rotator, bicept tendon and AC joint surgery. This week was my first post surgical visit since starting therapy. My surgeon was so pleased with the progress I am making since starting therapy. I can not say enough about this center. I have had therapy at many places both in Queens and Manhattan and by far this is the best. The equipment is updated and spotless. The staff are friendly, helpful. My therapist Andrew is knowledgeable, personable and is dedicated to my recovery. He has devised a home exercise program for me to do on off days. After falling down my stairs and 6 weeks of no walking or bending my knee. It was time to start Physical Therapy. From the very 1st appointment with Constance I knew I was in the right place. She took her time to understand my pain as well as my goals on recovery. Along with the rest of the awesome staff I have come a long way in a short time. I was only able to been my knee 15 degrees when we started I am pleased to say Constance has me at 120 degrees now and we still going. Came here after total knee replacement surgery (Nov 2019), and have received exceptional care. At 8 wks post surgery, exceeded all my surgeon's expectations for recovery. Consistently impressed that each and every member of their top rate staff knows every patient by name, knows our recovery program and always will jump in to consult, help or encourage. Excellent service. Physical therapists are top notch. I have been using them for over 10 years. They have helped me through 2 knee surgeries, a shoulder replacement, and most recently a hip replacement . I am an active person and have been able to return to a normal active life. read more

Have been coming here since February 2021. The facility is open and airy and felt very comfortable during the end of COVID. Personnel are fastidious in wiping down tables and machines. We all wear masks - patients and staff. I've come for hip, then ankle , and now for lower back therapy. My therapist , Kent, and the other staff are conscientious and caring. I've gone to Professional in Bayside/Whitestone for almost 4 years. I have PD, and bad arthritis in my knees from years of rugby and other contact sports. At 61 I also still fence competitively. Niel and his crew Farran, Constance, Danielle, Tawna, and Brenda (there are more and the whole team is terrific) have helped me to keep my PD symptoms and progression at bay. They are adding years of functionality to my life, and I always feel in a better mood when I leave -- both of which are priceless effects of their work with me. They have also helped me to continue to fence competitively -- working expertly with athletes -- older, 60+ like me and younger. I got my national rating two weeks ago in epee and couldn't have done it without them. As a team they care about you, individualize your treatment, are courteous and knowledgeable about their work -- their expertise complements each others -- and they challenge me when my motivation slips. Their room is Big and spacious. Their front desk staff are terrific on phone contacts and in-person and super helpful. I've had to do a lot of sports related PT over the years and I recommend them highly for all ages. read more

Thank you for all your help. The environment is like no other. Every session i have there is always a peaceful environment. My PT coordinator is such an encouraging person. Always welcoming and great working with her. The staff walks around helping people but checking is i am ok. So you feel like someone is always checking in on your progress.
