I was drawn to Programme by the lure of a free Meet & Greet with the legendary hardcore punk band Terror. Programme sells skateboards, clothing and vinyl so while I'm here may as well peruse right? So I packed up my records and the kiddo and off we went to Fullerton. Programme is located at the tail end of a strip mall. You're best parking in the main lot and walking there because there isn't much parking in front of the store. Programme isn't the biggest place but it's mighty and wall to wall of all the stuff I like. Their vinyl selection was excellent (and in alphabetical order) and they had lots of great band shirts. Let's just say I went home with more than signed Terror records and the kiddo was EXTREMELY happy with the shirts she chose and I paid for lol. YES, I will be returning to Programme. They host a lot of live shows in their store and occasionally book heavy hitters to play in an environment where you'll never be closer to the action. Just gotta be quick because limited capacity means fast sellouts. Highly recommended! read more

I used to live in the apartments behind this place and it was my Go To skate shop while I lived in the area. They have a great selection, the prices are fair and the service is great. The dudes who work here really know their music and skateboarding. You can also catch a show here on selected nights (some times for free). Bought a LP from them yesterday on Record Store Day for $40. Browsing other retailers today online it turns out that same LP retails for $30 everywhere else. Shady stuff from Programme and will be avoiding them in the future. If I'm showing up to support your small business (and waiting in an hour line to do so), don't rip me off. Awesome shop! Came here because I saw they had a few vinyls i've been wanting. The vinyl is organized alphabetically which i LOVE. It makes it wayyyy easier to look through and if you're not sure about the genre, organized alphabetically is a life saver. As soon as i walked i was greeted by the staff and was offered assistance. Super kind staff and the store was nicely organized. Besides vinyl they also sell clothing (skate brands and band merch). Hats, beanies and socks are also for sale. Really good shopping experience. You just don't know what you're gonna get when you buy a board online. I need to see what the board feels like under my feet before I buy. If you're into skating, punk, hardcore and all of it's beautiful sub-genres than you will totally love this place. There are plenty of decks beautifully displayed all around the shop towards the back from your classic vans deck to your super rare rev band logo on a board. It's seriously awesome. They have many band t-shirts from adolescents to tupac. They also have vinyl, yes, I said VINYL RECORDS. Everything I love all in one store. Another cool thing is that the owner is super chill and let's local and touring bands play the spot and everyone is very respectful about it. Sometimes during the show he even plays some skate footage. Seriously this place is SO worth checking out. I'm a fan. The only negative is I wish there was a bit more ventilation. Programme came through with an amazing Ramones face mask. I'm happy that I can be cute and feel protected. I wear it as a cover over my N95 mask. When i was in my youth we went to the local skate shop/record store for pretty much all the goings on in the underground music world. We heard about new bands, got flyers for upcoming shows, talked to the dudes working there who had the inside scoop on everything. Alas today, that really isn't necessary with the internet, you can get all the information you want at the touch of a finger tip, but what's the fun in that? What I miss is that interaction, that going and finding out about something, being introduced to something new by someone in the know. Program is exactly that, a store that brings back the nostalgia of the 90's by being a one stop shop. You can get skate stuff as well as band shirts, music, etc. And they even put on small shows in the shop. It's a place where you can get off the internet and find out about what's going on in real life. A place owned and operated by dudes in the know. It's awesome to have a place like this still around and places like this should always be supported as they're supporting a small scene, local and abroad. read more

We went to buy our daughter her first real deal skateboard, so being local we went to check out Programme Skate. It brought me back to my youth and felt exactly like the shops when I was a kid a hundred years ago. Kenny was the young man working who helped us. He was extremely helpful and couldn't have been more pleasant. He guided us through the purchase of my daughters board, helped us weight the choices and ultimately helped us build my little girls first legit skateboard. We had a great conversation with Kenny as he assembled the board and was discussing with my little girl about some basics and the cool things he liked about skating. My girl is 11 and he talked with her (and us) like they are the same regardless of him being twice her age (and half ours). What a great guy to have represent this business! Super impressed with the service over all things and that will for sure keep us coming back. P.S. - got a Zero board with some nice starter hardware...not too cheap and nothing super pro (i.e. overpriced) for a beginners board. It wasn't over the top and didn't break the bank. Thrilled with the purchase and my princess broke it in for hours as soon as we got home! read more

This place is great they got a variety of brands for example Diamond, Circa, Shake Junt, The Hundreds, etc. They also have vinyls if your into those they got em, skateboard parts as well. The best part is that i was looking for some longboard wheels, they didn't have them but they said they could order them and they did and they said that they would be here the next day. Service was great, I came in needing a T tool and some bearing grease. One of the staff recommended I change out the wheels on my decade old skateboard. He recommended me Bliss wheels that were good for cruising. They changed out everything I needed and now my skateboard handles like a dream. They also carry good music on vinyls. read more

Absolutely terrible experience with this company. Ordered a DGK deck for my fiancé for Christmas and expected it to be delivered in 2-3 days as per their website. Not only did it take a month to receive, they sent the wrong board, their business phone is always set to voicemail and I called 5+ times with no call backs. I had to email them constantly for updates: never got a tracking number, never received updates until I reached out weeks later asking where the deck was, and when they sent the wrong board after all of this, they offered for me to mail the wrong board back and they'd cover the shipping and IF they ever get the board I wanted they would ship it. Turns out they never had the board to begin with and the guy used excuses that were not acceptable. Ended up wasting $50, my gift was ruined for my fiancé, and to top it all off, we are from philly and the board is a shout out to our famous skate spot, Love Park, and we never got what we paid for.
