I had never sought the help for a broker to assist me in the search and negotiation for a car, but on this occasion I decided to take the opportunity -because time was the one thing I had the least of in my schedule-. I am very grateful for Z's assistance. He give us outstanding service from start to finish. The entire process was seamless, transparent and completely stress-free. He helped me get a great deal on my new Honda CR-V with a solid discount off MSRP, no unnecessary dealer add-ons, and savings on service packages. Throughout the whole process, he was always quick to respond, patient with my questions, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Even when I changed my mind on the exterior color after he had already found me a car, he just helped me find the right one. He was there all the way through the final paperwork and even reviewed my contract while I was at the dealer to make sure everything looked good. I really like that he works for a flat fee and doesn't take dealer commission, so there's no conflict of interest. The amount of time and stress he saved me was absolutely worth it. I'll definitely use Z again. Knowledgeable, honest, and just a great person to work with.

Like many people, I entered the car-buying process aware of the stereotype surrounding car salespeople, but I tried to keep an open mind. I was shopping for a reliable used vehicle that fit my budget and had been communicating with Saul via text for several days before visiting the dealership. Saul was professional, responsive, and helpful throughout our conversations, and I let him know I would be arriving Saturday morning to view a specific vehicle. Upon arriving, I spotted a different vehicle that I immediately fell in love with. I was then introduced to Anthony S., who unfortunately set the tone for what became a very disappointing experience. Despite my serious interest in purchasing the vehicle, there was no offer to pull the vehicle around, no invitation to test drive it, and very little effort made to help me evaluate the car. Instead, I was told he could "run some numbers." What followed was frustrating and misleading. The payment amounts, financing terms, and expectations that were discussed upfront changed significantly once I reached the finance stage. By the time I sat down to finalize the deal, the numbers and terms being presented were not what had originally been represented to me. The customer service throughout the process was equally disappointing. There were long periods where I was left waiting without updates or communication. I was repeatedly given conflicting information about who I was working with, first being told Saul was on his way, then being told he was off for the day, only to have Saul ultimately return and deliver the vehicle. The lack of communication and professionalism made what should have been an exciting purchase feel stressful and disorganized. My disappointment extended beyond sales and into finance. My interaction with Alex Corona in finance left me feeling more like a transaction than a valued customer. The overall atmosphere from much of the staff felt unwelcoming and indifferent. The one bright spot in my experience was Saul, who remained professional and courteous throughout, and what I believe was the General Manager. The GM took the time to speak with me and was the only person who ensured I was able to test drive the vehicle, even though, remarkably, this occurred after I had already signed the paperwork. He was polite, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about the customer experience. Unfortunately, two positive interactions cannot outweigh the overall experience. Purchasing a vehicle is a significant financial decision, and customers deserve transparency, communication, and respect throughout the process. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience. If you're considering purchasing a vehicle here, I strongly encourage you to do thorough research, ask detailed questions, and ensure that every promise regarding pricing, payments, and financing terms is documented before moving forward.

KM is now under their ownership and this dealership brings with it all aspects of shady and terrible practices. I'll try my best to condense this but its a lot to cover. DO NOT take your vehicle to be serviced here DO NOT work with their slimy salespeople DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT consider one of their "certified" pre-owned vehicles SERVICE:After over a decade of being a VW customer at this location (see former glowing review), I can tell you this is not the same dealership and I was pretty blindsided in discovering this. I've tried to shop around for other mechanics but having a German diesel vehicle has pretty much priced me locked in for services and I liked having all work history at a location. So I did a major service again. 2 Months later, a major fuel-related issue happened while entering the freeway....twice. Given the proximity to the service, it was understandable for me to think 'maybe the tech did something wrong, and quickly brought it in for diagnosis. Without barely looking at it, I was told to replace the in-fuel (low pressure) fuel pump. I was also told the 'good news' there was no metal debris present. I was told this fixes it 90% of the time. Then 30 mins later I was texted again, didn't fix it, we now have to replace the high pressure fuel pump "and see." I stopped all work on it and was now out $850. We carefully drove the car home where it's sat in the garage as I weighed my options. Well guess what? A very kind, diesel expert mechanic was able to come for a house call second opinion. He spent about 5 mins unscrewing the cap of the fuel filter (one of the items I just replaced) and there are metal shards. The car is done. The entire fuel system is lost. And the VW tech stated no metal was found and to just go ahead and replace the HPFP (a job they list as about $5k). Their expert best tech either didn't check a very basic thing, or straight up lied to get me to pay for a replacement that would have failed from a compromised system. VW corporate: This is a very big deal. I am hoping you are paying attention. This is a soon to be BBB claim. SALES: On the day I was told my car needed the HPFP replaced (before learning about the metal in the system) , I considered the option of getting a certified pre-owned electric car that had just come in. It was truly a casual inquiry. The salesman was friendly and down to earth, and shared that if we wanted to put down a deposit, no one else could consider the car (which seemed to be a rare inventory). It still needed to be serviced and cleaned, so I went ahead and did that just to secure a first look. Again, this was a casual inquiry and the friendly guy said "no pressure, if you change your mind you get the deposit back." This returned lease started to rub me the wrong way. In only 2 years it had 42,000 miles on it and it was returned extremely dirty. Carfax showed it was never brought in for service nor recalls corrected. I expressed my concerns and the sales guy just saw dollar signs of a deposit on the car and thought I committed. I wanted to see how it was cleaned up. They rushed everything with that guy seeing it as a done deal. We came in and immediately I saw coffee stains still on the armrest. Couldn't even clean it. The display screen was massively delayed on touch, the compartments abused. When we returned to the lot, the child lock was turned on for the back seat and wouldn't unlock. The guy laughed it off and said something about it being quirky. Was he this oblivious? Smiling, he asked if I was paying cash or wanted to finance. I told him I was not buying this car. Suddenly his demeanor completely changed and he decided to try some gender biased guilt trip on me... "Did I do something wrong? My manager is telling me he thinks I did something wrong." What kind of awful sales tactic is this? I felt like I was on a 2nd tinder date with someone who had no awareness. "Why did you come back then?" He demanded. Um... to get my $1,000 deposit back? Then the uncomfortable trying to sweat us out with waiting and returning with more terrible offers for a defective used car. It probably took 30 minutes to finally get my card refunded. I contacted the service manager about my experience (again, this was before finding out there is metal all over the fuel system) and their new young service manager has zero customer service skills or empathy. He ignored emails and blew me off after initiating another call. I filled out the service survey (they try to guilt you into giving them 5 stars for everything regardless of your experience) and said I wanted to be contacted in follow-up, and nothing. I contacted VW CARE with a thoughtfully written email and was replied to with a no subject canned response blowing me off. VW: You have clearly learned nothing from Dieselgate.

When I was notified that my vehicle was ready for pickup, I arrived at the dealership and was shocked by the condition of my car. It was completely covered in bird droppings. I pointed this out to the employee who brought out the vehicle, and I was told that they do not have covered parking and do not wash customer vehicles. Luckily, my service advisor overhead how upset I was and eventually helped to clean the vehicle. The condition in which my vehicle was returned was unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Other customers walking by were visibly shocked and even commented on how disgusting the car looked. I have attached photos documenting the condition of the vehicle at pickup. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this service center.

When I finally reached someone, the employee was kind and told me to come in so they could check it out. A few days later, I showed up in person and the same thing happened -- bounced between parts and service, multiple employees who didn't seem trained or aware of how to help with a simple issue. Eventually, Michael helped me and assured me they would order the part ASAP. He gave me the price, said they could install it, and I confirmed the cost multiple times to avoid any surprises. I asked if I should pay now or get some kind of confirmation or estimated date, but they gave me nothing. Strange, but since they're the Acura dealership, I trusted them. They offered a free car wash while I waited -- and I regret accepting it. It took over an hour, even after I mentioned I was pressed for time and just needed the car checked. Once it was finally done, I had to keep asking for updates because it felt like they forgot about me. I left with no paperwork, no confirmation, nothing... but still hopeful they'd follow through. A month later, nothing. No call, no update, no part. After three weeks, I called to check in. The person who answered had no idea what I was talking about. It was like the order never existed. He said he would talk to Michael and get back to me. Of course, no one ever did. No call, no email, nothing. This place is unprofessional, disorganized, and clearly not on top of anything. I wish I hadn't wasted my time coming here or waiting for them. Now I have to start the entire process over somewhere else. Would not recommend this dealership at all.

When I first brought my car in, I asked if they'd be able to give it a quick wash when service was done. They told me the car wash wasn't open yet, which was totally fine! The next time I came in for routine service, I asked again and they said yes. When I picked up my car, it clearly hadn't been washed at all. I politely brought it up, and they had someone quickly "wash" it. The car was returned within 5 minutes, still dirty and completely soaked, it honestly looked like it had just been sprayed down with a hose. Today I came in again for another routine service and didn't even plan on asking for a wash because of my past experiences. The associate helping me was extremely kind, no complaints about her at all! She actually offered to have the car washed, and I happily said yes. When I picked it up, it looked like they only squeegeed the front windshield and didn't touch the rest of the car. It's honestly disappointing because you expect a little more from a dealership you lease a car from. At this point, it feels like they should just stop offering complimentary washes if they aren't actually going to do them.

But I kept procrastinating because I couldn't stomach the thought of going to a dealership and spending too much time with the back and forth haggling....Then I read a post on NextDoor where someone raved about using the services of an auto broker named Branco Motors. So I thought to myself, "Why not try them out"? instead of going through the Costco buying service that I'd been contemplating using. I spoke with Grant Ruthenberg and told him the model I was interested in. He explained the he receives a fee from the dealership but he'd be working to get me the best price. He got back to me the very next day with what I was looking for. Ever the skeptic, I ran his proposal and the invoice through ChatGPT and asked if I'd gotten a reasonable deal. ChatGPT answered, "FINAL VERDICT: This is a fair, clean, and pretty good deal. You could spend weeks calling dealers and possibly not do better. You're not being overcharged. The numbers match reality. And the transparency is excellent." So who was I to argue? I told Grant to go ahead with the purchase and he told me the car could be delivered the next day. I was informed about the ETA of delivery and given a more precise ETA as they had more info (the car was coming from Riverside and I'm in Bonita). Grant had me sign the paperwork and explained what I was signing when questions arose. I gave him the check and then we went out, sat in the SUV and he explained all the new features. He set up the Apple CarPlay and paired my garage door opener so that I no longer had to use the remote. When I no longer had questions about the Palisade he graciously moved my very heavy dog crates to the new car! Above and beyond! This is the best car buying experience I've had in my 71 years and I will be recommending Branco Motors to anyone in the market for a new car.

She confirmed from Brian that it was a possibility. The receptionist assured me Brian would call that day. He never did. I waited through the weekend and called again on Monday (the day of my scheduled appointment). Crystal was helpful and transferred me to the service manager, Wendy because Brian was again not available. I explained the full situation, including the multiple broken callback promises. Wendy immediately said there was no possibility of waiving the diagnostic fee, directly contradicting what I had been told earlier. She also did not apologize the multiple non call backs. Wendy needs some actual training on how to fix issues that occur in her service department. This felt like a clear bait-and-switch. I was given the impression that the diagnostic fee might be waived in order to get me to make an appointment, only to be told the opposite once I had already waited days and followed up multiple times.
