The strawberry matcha was really good!!!
    Natalya K.

Service was friendly, fast and efficient. The space itself was very fun and simple but welcoming. Everyone liked the coffees they tried but I personally felt that the strawberry matcha stole the show for me!!! It was just sweet enough from the strawberry sauce but you could still taste the matcha distinctly. Highly recommend for sure!

Breakfast Burrito (must've been out of the usual chimichurri, they gave me hot sauce). Very filling!

Visited my hometown again and one of my first stops was this cafe. So apparently they had just recently stopped being all vegan. They used to have an amazing vegan egg and cheese on a biscuit. Now the egg and cheese sandwiches are vegetarian and the only savory vegan option is avocado toast. From having several fun savory sandwich options to just an avocado toast is such a bummer. I also wish for a diner mug instead of a latte cup for drip coffee (cools off faster because the larger surface area and no little top of latte foam). But maybe that's just me. Whatever, just bummed on the change.

Such a cool coffee shop! I tried the Strawberry Matcha and it had such a great Matcha flavor and the strawberry didn't taste like fake syrup, tasted like real fresh strawberries. Staff was nice and whole atmosphere is a cool place to hangout at. They have food options as well.

Was on vacay and so happy to have found this little gem! I love a good coffee shop and bonus points if they serve food! This place had it all, nice vibes, chill atmosphere, friendly service, merch and coffee beans which I always need. Lots of seating inside with a few outside options as well. Their brunch menu was out of a few items so it was limited but everyone was satisfied with what they ordered. I would definitely return when in the area again.

Chia pudding bowl, French toast and strawberry matcha

I fall asleep and dream about this chia pudding bowl!!!! The fresh fruit, coconut topping and delicious pink chia pudding hit the spot every time!! A Sarasota staple!! The matcha, coffee and everything else is also delish!

Easily best coffee in Sarasota area. I'm extremely picky when it comes to coffee. Their ratios are great, house made syrups, espresso comes through nicely in the latte. Would definitely go back! You can see the vanilla bean in the bottom of the drink which is a green flag. Plus the breakfast burrito was delicious and huge.

Really cool coffee shop. vibes were excellent. Beautiful space and plenty of places to sit. Espresso was tasty and strong for $4 (before tip). Came on a Sunday and parking was easy to find in front of the coffee shop. Sunday free parking.

Nehhh! Very limited options. No milk No half and half and coffee was average. I had better coffee at a Harlem Bodega in NYC. Very disappointing $3+ coffee down the drain.

Absolutely obsessed with this place. The whole aesthetic of the cafe was stunning and so fresh. Very Instagramable decor and vibe. Staff was nice and helpful with ordering. Wish they had menus in line or a QR code outside while you wait in line. Was frustrated that I had to make a choice so fast because they only had menus at cash register and not posted anywhere else to see. Thankfully everything on the menu was so yummy. Was shocked it's all vegan. I am vegetarian and used to vegan meals but this exceeded my expectations. Wish I would have got the hash brown sandwich and add the tomato jam that was on the sandwich I got. Food came out pretty fast too. Wish we had this place in Orlando.

    Ube matcha latte

Project is without-a-doubt my go-to coffee shop in SRQ. Both locations, Pineapple st. and Rosemary District, are consistent in their laid-back vibes, inviting baristas, and delicious menu items. Even with each of their items being 100% vegan, everything is absolutely amazing. Their hot drinks and iced coffees are robust and creamy, but my favorite beverage is the ube matcha latte, easily one of the most visually appealing drinks you'll ever find (pictured). When it comes to food, the cinnamon bun is heavenly, and the smash sandwich (exclusive to the Rosemary District location) is flavorful and extremely filling. FYI the Pineapple st. location definitely has seating, but with its much larger size, the Rosemary District location is much more roomy.

Was ok last we went not so good. Food was just ok. Coffee not like before. Was a bit watery and my partners was way too hot and watery.

Iced Ube Matcha (made with Oat Milk)

I found this place because it was a couple of blocks from where we had a work conference and had my morning hot Matcha latte. I learned that they were 100% vegan and plant based so also ordered a piece of pumpkin bread to take with me. While it is not pictured, it is tasty. I had such a great time and enjoyed my Matcha that I returned at the end of the day and tried the Ube Matcha. While it was a tad bit sweeter than I would've liked I appreciated the Matcha and Ube combo and would highly recommend you check this out if you happen to find yourself in Sarasota.

This is a modern looking place with some seating, mostly counter, on the inside and a few tables outside. On my first visit I tried one of their smoothies. It was a hot afternoon and I was in the Southside Village because of its close proximity to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. I'm generally not a smoothie drinker but getting something cold sure was a good idea. I chose their Passion Berry, very passion-ish, with Passion Fruit syrup and various other fruits and apple juice. They do not include ice, so the texture was a little thick and very smooth. While I'm still not sold on smoothies in general for the price, this was a fine drink. Raining Berries offers more than smoothies, they have Acai bowls, coffee, gelato, and even some food. I like food, so I stopped in a second time to try their Cali Bagel. You have a choice of an Everything or Plain bagel, I went Everything. This bagel sandwich includes egg, cheese, arugula, tomato, and a little sriracha just to keep it from being too bland. I very much liked this savory sandwich. I didn't interact too much with the staff but everything went smooth and reasonably quick.

I ordered the Green Dream, and it was refreshing, light, and so tasty. Perfect pick-me-up for the day. The staff were pleasant and attentive. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

The dinner menu features four salads, each priced between $17 and $19, with optional add-ons: fish for $11, avocado for $4, or grilled chicken for $6. Entrées range from a vegan beetroot risotto to a wagyu burger, priced between $19 and $28. I ordered the Baja burrito--filled with avocado, red cabbage, carrot, cashew cheese, and wrapped in a massaged collard green burrito. It was tasty, but it's definitely a dish best appreciated by vegans who truly enjoy collard greens. My husband chose the goat cheese salad, a mix of organic greens, goat cheese mousse, pickled shallots, candied pecans, preserved grapes, house-made crackers, mustard pearls, and maple vinaigrette, also $18. The goat cheese was extremely creamy and paired beautifully with the light, airy toasted pieces served alongside. It made for the perfect light entrée. For dessert, he had the pumpkin chia pudding--creamy, lightly spiced, and satisfying without being heavy--so we ended the night feeling perfectly content, not overly full. There was a gentleman playing the saxophone just outside the door, a bit hard to carry on a conversation at times but very adorable when he played happy birthday for a little boy who clapped for joy. Very heartwarming moment. Go and enjoy a very healthy dinner.
