I was referred to this business by a local Boston Terrier Facebook group. Their reviews were…read morestellar, so I reached out to them. I needed to board my pup while I went on vacation and passed their initial free assessment and complementary play date, filed his health records with them etc. A week later I dropped him off for his week of boarding. When I arrived home I quickly dropped off my luggage and immediately went to pick him up. Once I arrived, excited to see my little dude they brought him out. He was not himself. Not excited, and lethargic. I figured he was just tired from his week of playing with other pups. As soon as I put him in my car he fell asleep, and once home he did the same thing, which for a 6-month-old Boston Terrier is unheard of. The following day was the same, I chalked it up as he must have had a great time playing and was still exhausted. The next day he was extremely ill, coughing, diarrhea and weak so I rushed him to the Vet. Their diagnosis was an upper respiratory infection a fever and Kennel cough. My pup is completely vaccinated and was perfectly healthy when dropped off. I understand things happen, but this was infuriating to me. When I picked him up I was curious why he was just handed to me and shuffled me out the door, now I understand why. That same attitude was received when I called to inform them of his condition. The young lady just said "I'll tell the owner and hung up" and that was it. I wanted to like this place, but on top of their boarding fees, I now have medical bills due to their facility and lack of action when he was clearly sick while there, due to an illness he contracted while there, and hopefully, he recovers soon. The photo attached is him once loaded in the car after picking him up. Clearly not a 6 mo old Boston excited to see me after a week away. I am beside myself, and angry to say the least.

They came to the house and provided excellent care and provided top notch communication throughout their visits. When we got home everything looked great and the pups were happy. They use an app that makes the whole process seamless from beginning to end. We didn't realize we needed to bring dog food when we dropped off Abigail but Theresa was flexible with providing it. Usually, with the boarding we have done with Altavista and Petsmart, we wouldn't need dog food but at least now we know next time. Theresa also had other dogs there and when we picked up Abigail, we noticed how much calmer our dog was. I think it did her a world of good to play with the other dogs. Given the reasonable prices, we would definitely use this pet sitting service for overnight and doggie day care. She also takes credit cards which is convenient!

Dog parents beware! Took my mellow lab/border collie mix here for daycare since 2018 and never had…read moreproblems. New ownership 2 to 3 years ago and major staff turnover. He's now been bitten by another dog twice in past year. Staff didn't notice the incident either time it happened. First time, they did find the bite during a body check, and watched a video of the play area to see what happened and saw a German shepherd bite my dog "for no apparent reason." Said they'd keep the two dogs separated if they were there at the same time again. This time they never found the pretty sizable bite (or opted to not tell me about it). I discovered it the next day, and vet confirmed it was a dog bite so it had to happen there as he's an only dog. Asked Staff to watch video to see what happened and was told they no longer have cameras so no way to determine what dog bit him this time. We won't be returning. They seem to no longer be doing a good job of screening out dogs that don't have the right temperament for daycare and/or doing a good job of supervising the dogs.

While we were working on this, Kristie also helped us with some basic command refinements with all 3 of our dogs. One of our dogs needed a little confidence boost, and she taught us how to work with him to strengthen this. Kristie is clear in her instructions to the humans and is patient with answering questions and modeling how to give commands and corrections. She built a positive relationship with our dogs and with us. We have enjoyed the experience and appreciate the changes in our dogs' behavior.

For dog sitting, in our home, we've used Michelle several times now and she is great. Our 3 dogs love her and she clearly loves them too. We have 2 Great Danes and Beagle/Boston Terrier mix who are getting up there in age. Our male Great Dane has a number of health issues and Michelle handles it all so well. There's a laundry list of medications for the dogs and she does a great job keeping up with it all. She doesn't mind when I'm that helicopter dog mom and I check too often on my sick boy. Regardless of his illness, Michelle sends many pictures and text updates on how things are going with all the dogs. As a very protective momma, I trust Michelle completely with my furbabies and home. We love having Michelle take care of our babies... so much so that when we were planning the August trip we just completed, she wasn't available on our original dates, so we moved our trip to make sure she was available. Ally has been a game changer for my nearly 6-month-old puppy. I initially contacted her for help…read morewith loose-leash training in short training breaks. After the first session I noticed progress with his leash skills and with all subsequent sessions he's continued to improve. For a Boston Terrier (known for being hard pullers) to be relaxed and by my side at his age is really impressive. More recently we switched from hourly training breaks to her field trips. These are organized so that she picks up and drops off my pup from my house and spends the day with him and 3-5 other dogs teaching loose-leash, recall, settle, socialization in novel environments, and myriad other skills, all while tiring him out with tons of playtime. When he comes home he naps *hard* for a couple hours. There are so many trainers in town and it was hard to know who had the experience and approach to best fit my puppy, but her fear free, choice based training method has been the perfect fit. She takes time to post updates of their activity to Instagram which is a fun way to follow along periodically throughout the day and to cap it off she's easy to communicate with, always replies to messages quickly, accommodates my crazy schedule, and is an all around fun and energetic person.
