We were feeling a bit uneasy with leasing a car when we first walked in, but Joseph cleared that uneasiness for us. His whole attitude brought up the mood for us and the tension lowered tremendously. If you need a reliable and personable salesman, then Joseph is your guy! He'll answer your questions and more. When we found the car that was right fit for us, we got some awesome help and deals from Joseph's manager, Yohannes. We were able to walk out with our leased car! My family and I would like to express our thanks and gratitude to make this big decision with Joseph and Yohannes' support.

BUYER BE WARE!!! I…read morerarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so frustrating and unprofessional that I feel people should know before doing business here. Before I even applied for financing, I called the dealership and explained my situation honestly upfront. I told them I had recently transitioned out of non-W2 income, had inconsistent income history, and had a couple of repossessions on my credit. I specifically asked if it was even worth applying before wasting anyone's time. I was told that as long as I could provide an offer letter from my new position, they should be able to work with me. After applying, I was initially told I needed $10,000 down. When I explained that wasn't possible, they suggested either trying a different vehicle or getting a co-signer. I got my son to co-sign, and then suddenly I was told the deal was approved. At that point, they asked me when I could come pick up the car. I was then told the down payment would be $2,500, but I wouldn't need to bring it immediately -- I could pay it within three weeks. Then later it changed to $3,000. I was repeatedly reassured that the terms would not change again. From there, the dealership requested document after document: ID Insurance Proof of residence Utility bills Credit card statements I recently moved, so my license still had my old address, and utilities at my current residence are included through my landlord. I explained this multiple times. Every time I submitted something, I was told "that should work," only for them to come back later saying it wouldn't. I provided: A closeout utility bill Another utility bill Credit card statements Additional proof of address Eventually even documentation connected to utilities at my current residence This went on for days with constant back-and-forth communication and shifting requirements. At one point, after spending the entire day sending documents, I was told at almost 8 PM that we would "have to revisit tomorrow." Then after again confirming that the terms would not change and they could get the deal done. Today I was suddenly told the bank now required the FULL $3,000 upfront immediately. The most frustrating part was the complete lack of accountability. Every time something changed, the response was:"The manager told me..."or"The bank changed it..." Apparently the terms changed hour by hour. At some point, it honestly felt like the goalposts kept moving no matter what I provided. If the deal could not be done, that should have been communicated clearly from the beginning instead of putting me through days of stress, paperwork, insurance setup, and repeated requests for documentation. I have purchased multiple vehicles before and have never experienced anything this disorganized, inconsistent, or unprofessional. I also have to be honest and say that I began questioning whether race may have played a role in how this situation unfolded, because the tone and complications noticeably escalated after I submitted my ID. I truly hope that was not the case, but it is unfortunately how the experience felt. No customer deserves to be treated this way.

Our eldest sons van started to show signs of getting ready to breakdown…read more So we decided that it was best to get a new ride. He talked with its either Fready or Frankie and told him we'd be there on Friday or Saturday. We showed up Saturday. We we're greeted by a friendly welcoming gentleman named Moe. He took my son for a test drive as my son knew exactly what he wanted. A 2026 honda passport. He liked how it drove and already loved the looked. So Moe took us into the sale bungalows as Rock Honda is under renovations. Moe was very welcoming, kind, and curious. Moe then took us to meet Fready or its Frankie. (I'm horrible with names) lol Fready or Frankie was doing the credit check and helping run the #'s. There was another older man but to be honest he wasn't my favorite as he kept trying to sneak in more charges. Saying that the wheels, tires, mats, and ext..Weren't included in price. That's why I took off one star as they shouldn't try to screw people over. Your already going make a big sale. Don't try to take advantage even more! As we had already confirmed the price on the vehicle and that it indeed included all the extras. I had to be blunt and say if they weren't gonna honor that price we'd be going elsewhere. Fready or Frankie jumped in and said he'd make it right. As we we're getting frustrated. We already were anticipating them trying to up sale as that's what happens at all dealerships. We just appreciate Freddy or Frankie understanding that we had a set # and we weren't going over it. We finally agreed on a price and then Fready orFrankie took us over to the finance bungalow. We met a nice young man who helped us. Im so sorry I forgot his name as he was awesome. If it wasn't for Fready or Frankie, Moe and the young man in finance dept. We would have left. Overall it was a good experience. Son is super happy which makes us happy. Thank you Fready or Frankie, Moe, and the young man in the finance department.

I came in around noon to explore my lease options, thinking I was nearing the end of my current lease on my 2024 Honda Prologue Elite, which I absolutely love. Raphael assisted me initially and was great, professional, helpful, and welcoming. However, my experience completely shifted when I spoke with Sales Manager Cedric. For context, when I leased my current Prologue in 2024, I put $0 down with a credit score around 650 and secured a payment of $865. At the time, I was making about $90K. Since then, my situation has improved significantly, my credit score is now around 730, my income has increased, and I have a perfect payment history. I have never missed a payment and often pay extra. Despite all of that, I was told I would need to put $8,000 down and take on a $1,100 monthly payment to get into a new vehicle. That made absolutely no sense given my stronger financial profile and loyalty to Honda. The difference in service compared to my previous experience was night and day. I left feeling frustrated and honestly like I was being taken advantage of rather than helped. It did not feel like my best interest was a priority. This is my second Honda lease, and I have been a loyal customer since 2022, but this experience made me seriously reconsider returning. I would much rather work with someone who is transparent and customer focused. At this point, I am open to taking my business elsewhere, because with my current credit, income, and payment history, I know I have better options.

I brought my car at 11am, for an 11am appointment, and they just put my car up to start the oil change, it is 12:30pm, so by the time they are done & I am on the road it will have been 2 hours or more that I have been here They should not have allowed an 11am appointment if it was not going to he worked on for all of this time. I know this is a busy location, but they should respect people's time a little better. ***actually the car that i thought was mine, was not. So I'll probably be here far longer than I thought. What a joke. I love taking a day off work to pay $118.95 for an oil change on a small 4 cylinder car, and sitting here all day. What a blast. Im really annoyed. Oil changes do not take more than 15 minutes. They need to figure a better way out. It is now 1:27pm. My car is FINALLY being worked on. I will never come here again. This is ridiculous. You have no consideration for your customers, their cars or their time.

Be very careful shopping here…read more First, when we located the car that was advertised for sale online, the sales guy (Daniel?) said that car wasn't the same one. BUT I checked the VINs, which matched, and he backtracked saying he was new and didn't know. Second, the prices advertised online are not what you will actually pay. The dealership adds thousands in "dealer accessories" that were already installed (original sticker in glove box!) leaving you no real choice but to pay for them. This inflated our out-the-door pricing dramatically. Example: 2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL Sport (Intense Blue) * Internet listed price: $17,938 * Out-the-door: $24,350 * Original sticker listed the features now being "added on" by the dealer That's a dramatic increase and feels like classic bait-and-switch tactics. McKinley Grant was aggressive and apparently did not want to sell a single car to us that day. (We later bought two cars at Norm Reeves Hyundai in Cerritos!) On top of that, this nearly new vehicle had a faulty seatbelt--a serious safety issue and probably illegal to sell. A car with known defects should not even be offered for sale until fixed which was not offered. This experience felt dishonest and unsafe. Further to that, one of the staff started photographing the car and discussed within earshot of everyone that the car was sold over the phone. Very deceptive. I would strongly advise shopping elsewhere. Should've checked Yelp beforehand as this seems to be a pattern. By contrast, I visited Norm Reeves Hyundai in Cerritos. Check my review. Not only did they sell me the car listed on the internet for the actual price, I decided to buy a second car in the same transaction.
