I normally don't leave negative reviews, but after nearly a month without my vehicle, I'm extremely disappointed with the communication from the service department. I dropped off my 2018 Chevy Volt on June 17 for a high-voltage battery repair. Timeline: * June 17: Dropped off my vehicle. * June 19: Called the dealership to let them know I would be on a cruise with limited or no cell service, so if my vehicle was ready during that time, I didn't want them to think I was ignoring their calls. * June 25: I received a text stating that the required battery module had arrived, my vehicle was back in rotation for installation, and it would "hopefully" be ready by Thursday or Friday. * July 3: Called for an update. * July 8: Called again for another update. * July 14: Called multiple times, left a voicemail requesting a callback, but never received one. * July 16: Called again, was transferred to my service advisor, left another voicemail, and again received no callback. As of today, my car has been at the dealership for 29 days, and the battery module has reportedly been there for about three weeks. I completely understand that EV repairs require specialized technicians, and I was told they only have two certified EV technicians. I can be patient with the repair itself. What has been frustrating is the lack of communication and the repeated promises that the car would be ready "next week." Service here is strange. Why make an appointment if it is still going to take 2 hours or more? It doesnt make sense at all. I brought my car at 11am, for an 11am appointment, and they just put my car up to start the oil change, it is 12:30pm, so by the time they are done & I am on the road it will have been 2 hours or more that I have been here They should not have allowed an 11am appointment if it was not going to he worked on for all of this time. I know this is a busy location, but they should respect people's time a little better. ***actually the car that i thought was mine, was not. So I'll probably be here far longer than I thought. What a joke. I love taking a day off work to pay $118.95 for an oil change on a small 4 cylinder car, and sitting here all day. What a blast. Im really annoyed. I brought my Corvette in because it was making a strange buzzing noise and had also started smoking. Edgar had the car for about a week and still couldn't figure out what was wrong, so the issue had to be escalated to a GM engineer and an ETAC case was opened. I do want to give Ricky credit because he did an excellent job keeping me updated throughout the process. He communicated with me consistently for about three weeks and I really appreciated that. My biggest issue is with Edgar and the quality of the diagnosis. After almost a month, I was basically told they found nothing wrong because the noise had stopped and I was close to getting the car back. Then Ricky went to start it and said the battery had to be jumped. So my Corvette sat there long enough for the battery to die, while the actual problem still hadn't been figured out. Then they discovered the A/C wasn't working, and ultimately the issue was related to the A/C system. That honestly made me question how Edgar diagnoses vehicles at all. You had my Corvette for weeks, involved GM engineering, opened an ETAC case, and were almost ready to return it to me without fixing anything, yet somehow the A/C issue wasn't caught sooner? At that point, I genuinely started wondering if this was Edgar's first Corvette--or his first time diagnosing a Chevrolet with an A/C system. From my experience, it felt like he was throwing guesses at the car instead of actually diagnosing it. Nearly a month for an A/C-related issue is ridiculous. I also contacted the manager, Tom, about possible compensation for how long my car was kept and have not received a response. For an oil change, sure, I'd consider coming back. Ricky was great. But if my Corvette ever needs real diagnostic work again, Edgar is the last technician I would want touching it. read more

What can I say. Our family purchased a car from this dealer a few years ago and have been coming here since. The past few days have been awful customer service. Harmony Brooks is rude, will talk over you, tell you to relax and place the blame on the customer when coming in for service. She lacks good communication skills and thinks she can power over instead of a power with approach. She is unprofessional. She refused to get a manager when requested. We have a job just like her. We need to get to work reliably. When they decide it takes 3 days for a diagnostic while continuing everyday to say "we will know more by today" but then not call or provide updates it leaves us in a bind as a family. We cannot get a rental until they complete their diagnosis therefore after almost 3 business days to not have an answer and have the customer struggling to find transportation to their employer which is an hour away from their home is unacceptable. Transparency and kindness goes a long way. Everyday we were told she "wasn't in," and "left early." Even today they said she "left early" but then the gentlemen said "oh she just walked back in" clearly communication is lacking all around because they don't know where their staff is. We dropped our car off for a scheduled appointment not a walk in. She does not demonstrate these behaviors and based on other reviews the whole service department needs an overhaul. read more

ROTOLO CHEVROLET has the Worse service department ive ever seen. I paid $944.23 for a sparkplug change on my 2021 chevy Tahoe. After picking up my vehicle from the service. My car's "Check Engine light " came on. I had a EVAP error and I was told my #8 fuel injector was failing. Keep in mind I've never had any problems with my car. I drove 1.1 miles from the dealership and the error codes came on right after they performed the service. I returned it to the dealership and they denied any wrong doing. I spoke with the (service manager) Tom. He told me they would replace the injector for free and I could pick up my car..... that was 5 days ago... and now the dealership is ignoring my call, voicemails, and emails. I escalated this issue to Armando Rojo (store manager) but he has ignored my calls aswell. I now have to take legal matters since Rotolo Chevrolet damaged my vehicle and refuses to take accountability for their mistakes. Very frustrating... I don't even know where to start with GM products in general let along Rotolo Chev. Avoid both of them at all costs. I'm writing this review to warn perspective Chevy buyers. If you buy Chevy, do yourself the favor and think twice before you sign on the dotted line. I recently took my 2019 Chev Silverado for service at Rotolo Chev to have the shifter cable fixed and housing unit replaced in the steering wheel column fixed. I've also been having problems with my transmission slipping as well. The truck currently has 71,000 miles on it and according to Rotolo, I now need a new transmission. So I literally when from shifter cable, housing unit to now transmission and a bill of almost 9,600. Even though I didn't pay that . Prior to these issues, the transmission has been giving me trouble with it slipping and at 50,000 miles. I had the transmission fluid flushed thinking this would alleviate the problem. This truck has been nothing but a money pit and GM doesn't stand by there own products what's so ever. Rotolo basically told me you're out of luck dude. Since the warranty has expired you're stuck. Rotolo service department are no help what so ever either. I honestly feel they see the customer as suckers and don't care about anything but to protect the GM product and brand. Both times that I've taken my truck in I've delt with some service adviser named Danny. This guy could care less about the customer. He comes across as disingenuous, arrogant , short with the customer, and looking like you're bothering him. He's the epitome of what Rotolo Chevy is all about. I clearly communicated my non-negotiables and preferences to the salesperson. He showed me one vehicle that met my non-negotiables, while the other two options were attractive but above my budget. I expressed my concerns, and he stated, "My manager will work with you." We then spoke with the manager, who did not appear willing to negotiate or consider my requirements. Instead, he repeatedly told me that my requests were unlikely to be met and insisted I just work with him. After this pattern repeated multiple times, I decided to leave, as I knew I did not have to accept unfavorable terms. On Thursday, I received calls from three different individuals at Rotolo, all insisting that I had to work with them and claiming that if I cooperated, we could reach an agreement. The manager even continued to try to push me into a vehicle I had explicitly declined and disliked, insisting that if I chose the car that he was pushing on me, he could meet my terms. The following day, the calls and text messages persisted all day, despite my repeated refusals. The staff continued to insist I needed to work with them. Throughout this process, I felt that Rotolo was acting as if I had no choice but to conform to their demands. I found the behavior of the manager, to be rude and aggressive. And his persistent and pushy attempts to get me into a car I did not want were unprofessional and unethical. The repeated emphasis on "you have to work with me" was overly aggressive, and emphasized that I was under no obligation to do business with Rotolo. Ultimately, I decided not to purchase from them due to their discourteous and high-pressure approach. After I communicated my decision, they apologized for the inconvenience but continued to call me twice to "confirm." Buying a vehicle should not be a stressful or intimidating experience. It is a significant financial decision that impacts one's household budget and daily commute. Sales staff should respect customers' needs and limits, especially when those needs and limits are clearly expressed. No customer should be bullied or pressured beyond their comfort zone. It is concerning when staff prioritize making a sale over providing respectful, professional service. When I finally got my keys and made a comment about the wait time I was greeted with an attitude wondering what my problem was. Was told that oil changes take 2hours, I was never told that! My paperwork shows time In 3:37 promised time back 4:15! My paperwork for checking out is time stamped 5:49. So I waited 2 hours and 10min for an oil change that only took 10-15 from time on lift to time off! We've purchased 2 new cars from Rotolo in the past two years, and they've been great both times. We shopped around and found that most other local dealers add nonsense protection packages, LoJack, etc, that jack up the msrp $5+ grand or more from what's advertised, and in many cases they're also unprofessional and sleazy, almost as if they thought they were doing us a favor by selling us a car. You won't find any of that here. Our latest purchase was an EV, and Rotolo found us over 12k in rebates and special offers, with zero hidden fees and a great finance offer (which you would think would be the same across Chevy dealerships, but somehow it isn't). Plus they were professional, helpful, straightforward, respectful, and reasonable throughout both purchases. They also stand behind their new cars and have been helpful after each sale, as well, which really shows integrity imo. Thank you to Johnny, Cesar, and Mario in particular on this last EV purchase. They made car buying as painless as it can be, and gave us a deal on a new EV that no other local Chevy dealership even came close to. After two good experiences with Rotolo, we won't bother shopping around anymore. The next time we need a new car (which hopefully isn't for a while), we're going straight back here. Also, you should know that if you buy a car from Rotolo but you live "up the hill" like we do, you can take your Chevy to their sister store in Victorville, Caposio GMC, for maintenance and repairs. Took my son in to look at some trucks and we were greeted by Angel, the salesperson. From the start, he was very attentive and actually listened to everything my son wanted and was looking for. When we went inside to run the numbers, it was clear they heard everything my son was saying from the monthly payment to the down payment and overall price and they worked out a great deal for him. The manager was very realistic and honest with my son, explained everything clearly, and went above and beyond to make sure our expectations were met. The worst place on Earth to take your vehicle. Just don't do it! My husband made an appt for my truck 2 days before we dropped it off, for December 22nd for reoccurring engine light being on. When we arrived to drop my truck off, the line for the service department was to the street. When someone finally got to us, we were told, "someone overbooked all the appointments and we have 120 vehicles needing service today." After my truck was checked in and the keys were handed over, we were then asked "oh is your truck a diesel?" To which we replied, yes. We were then told they were 3 days out before they could even diagnosis the issue with my truck!!! We were told they had no loaner vehicles and couldn't offer us one anyway because they didn't know if it was a warranty issue or not. My husband works for the fire department so this meant I was going to be stranded at home with no vehicle. On Wednesday the 24th we called for an update, since nobody had called us. Hector told us to call back Friday, it showed the truck "in working statu." We called back Friday, guess what, Hector is on vacation until January 2nd!! We were transferred to Josh. He said he'd call us by the end of the day and, if not then, Monday he'd call. He said my truck showed it was still "in working status" but couldn't offer any insight as to what was going on or when it may be done. Monday came and we called again because there is no communication at this dealership. Josh couldn't find my truck! We sat on hold for 15 minutes while he searched for my vehicle. My husband had to go find the paperwork to give Josh the order number. Josh told us my truck still showed "in working progress" again with no other updates. At this point my truck has been at the dealership for a week with no updates or communication from anybody. We asked Josh if he could guarantee an update by 5pm, he said he couldn't. We drove down and picked up my truck. It was in the parking lot, not in the back being worked on. We communicated we were highly displeased and flat out disgusted with the customer service and the service department at Rotolo. My truck sat for a week and doesn't appear to have been worked on, we got no updates, and I was stranded at home for 7 days with no transportation while my husband worked. I should mention, I am not one to jump on Yelp to post a whiny complaint but this has been the worst experience I have ever had. I would steer clear of this dealership. What a terribly run establishment. On a side note: We took my truck to a different dealership. In less than 24hours, my truck was done and ready to be picked up. A new part, that was already on my vehicle before taking it to Rotolo, needed calibration. I slept on writing this for a couple days to decipher my feelings and thoughts. My result...If I could give less than 1 STAR I would! Our experience at Rotolo Chevrolet Fontana was hands-down one of the worst dealership experiences we've ever had, and the responsibility falls squarely on management. I must preface the rest of this by saying that the initial salesperson we were contacted by,Alex, was a decent person who seemed like a motivated young man learning the hustle. However, be prepared for the swarm of salespersons prepped to dive bomb and pounce on you as soon as you exit your vehicle. This horrible experience began at about 3 PM. We spent over an hour before sitting down with the manager test driving a couple vehicles, while being encouraged that this dealership will work on a great deal for us. Not the case at all. We went in to potentially purchase a Chevy Traverse we settled on earlier, but they didn't have the color we wanted. They told us not to worry because they had found a couple. We were subjected to over 4 hours of additional waiting while the manager played games with numbers instead of being transparent. They insisted on doing a dealer trade that benefited them, while withholding the actual location of the vehicle of our requested color and trim. We asked where it was because we would happily just drive there. They intentionally did not share the information so we couldn't pursue the vehicle purchase at that location ourselves. Throughout the night, the manager repeatedly came back with excuses about people "not answering phones," offered zero discounts, no realistic financing options, and raised the price every single time we talked. The classic dealership gimmicks such as scribbled numbers, fast moving highlighters, and fancy talk did not distract us from the constant price increases and additional costs. The manager now insisted that the price increases were mandatory because they had done a dealer trade. That was not our problem. We would've preferred to just drive to the dealership it was located at. We were so tired but still tried to wait it out and work towards a purchase,even offering to just sign a contract and come back the next day. This is something I would never usually do having not actually seen the vehicle. The manager kept us on the hook for that process making us continue to wait, saying it was our fault since they had to trade a vehicle to get the one we wanted. We finally told them we were fed up and walked out after 9 PM. The next day, they called claiming they wanted to "make things right." Instead, we sat for over another hour, only to be met with the same manager, more excuses, and then more of us being blamed for how long the process was taking. It seemed he was upset with us for walking out the night before. At that point, in our frustration with the gimmicks and price tricks, we now presented legitimate Chevrolet discounts we qualify for (GMS and First Responder). The manager flat-out refused to honor them, then escalated the situation by saying he "doesn't have to do anything" and effectively kicked us out. Total waste of time. They will tell you they're a "no BS" dealership with no add-ons. That's simply not true. They used every shady tactic in the book and then some. The management was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Save yourself the frustration and walk away. Do not waste your time here! 2.5hr wait for a tire rotation is bullshit. I thought it might've just been an off day. I gave the benefit of the doubt, but looking at other review experiences with service wait time. I'm not crazy. Having an appointment seems to mean nothing here. Trying to get me to agree for 89$ for a cabin air filter is disrespectful. making it seem as if I don't have free maintenance on a new vehicle is also very disrespectful (when I am positive I have free multi point inspection before arriving). The service department needs a lot of work. Mr.Rotolo doesn't deserve this tainting on his legacy. Management needs to have a meeting about ways to improve & discuss the issues going on in the service department. General Motors (GM) has a market cap. (net worth) hovering around $76 to $79 billion with over 162,000 employees. The 50 employees here are either brain dead or just don't care. Ask GM for advice: get some help. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with Rotolo Chevrolet and their service department again. Last week I brought my Chevrolet truck in for a legitimate warranty repair covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Instead of honoring it, the service team made false statements in an attempt to void the warranty and deny the claim. They kept my vehicle for nearly a week, provided zero meaningful updates, and when I finally called, I was told they "weren't sure when--or if--any repairs would be made." This completely disrupted our holiday travel plans and wasted an enormous amount of my time. This is the third vehicle I've purchased from this dealership, and every single problem I've ever had has been with their service department. Enough is enough. After I spoke with the service department agent (Eve), she seemed bugged that I even mentioned the issue and told me to ask for the sales department, as if I had not already done that. When I tried to explain to her what happened again, she rudely cut me off and transferred me to the sales department. Well, well, well...I brought the wife's Suv in 02/7/2026. We were told Monday 02/9/26 would be the earliest day a tech could look at it. On 02/11/26 I called the dealer. A secretary I believe pick up the call. The person said the service depart is really busy. The person took my info, said I will give this to the service department. I heard nothing in return on 02/11/26. I stopped by the dealer in person the morning of 02/12/26. I retrieved the answers I needed. I would also like to remind y'all..Rotolo is a private dealer, cameras all over the place filming me and employees. Your employees gave up the expectation of privacy when the employer records them. Rotolo is as well open to the public, it may be private business but is open to the public. There is no expectation of privacy. Now if I have to show to Rotolo again recording to make sure I have a record of how I'm being screwed over, next time I won't be nice, to shut it off when requested and you may not even see the camera. I purchase my truck at night; it was very late; I went back first thing the next morning to let them know about some spots on the truck I found. They walk the truck with me and wrote down everything. The nice young lady wrote me a due bill to get it taken care of. I brought my truck in for the spots. I drop my truck off and came back to pick it up. I didn't even know it was the same truck. AARON AND HIS HELPER made my truck look SO GOOD!!! Danielle is AMAZING! When buying a used car, especially one where there are  only a few found on the market, you are ripe for rip-offs, but not here at Rotolo. Danielle was incredible, letting me know that a few others were coming in to see the car I found that day, it was in high demand, and I live 2-3 hours away, with Friday rush-hour traffic. She said she was concerned it would be sold before I got there, so I asked if I could see a bunch of photos and maybe purchase it beforehand. Half an hour later, she texted to say we would have to rush, as another person was on their way to see it. It felt like trying to get concert tickets; how quickly she had to get approval for me to purchase immediately over someone on their way. I checked the photos and the Carfax report, then simply went for it. I had lost out on other cars like this one, and it was very attractively priced. The price even went lower when they found that the registration still had 6 months left, and they took 300 off the price since I didn't have to get a fresh registration. I was really nervous as I had never bought a car sight unseen. But to my surprise, when I got there, it was nicer in person! It had been detailed inside and out, and some stains I thought were on the seats were all gone. It smelled amazing and was perfectly clean. It was exactly as Danielle shared. In fact, they noticed the car charger was missing, so they took the time to track one down, even though it was an AS-IS sale, and I didn't expect one to still be with the car. They really care about all the details. If you are looking for a used car, take the drive. Carmax listed it as a great deal, and it was. I had my brakes done here and noticed squeaking afterward. I took it somewhere else for a second opinion, and they found that the brakes were installed backwards and there was a piece of tape from the new brakes stuck in between. Never coming here again! read more

We took our 2 year old with us and she was a handful during the process as she was getting impatient. The employee kindly helped us soo much! Played with our daughter and had her entertained while we closed up the deal. He went above and beyond for sure and deserves to be recognized! I appreciated how fast and hassle free the process was! So I had a 7:30 am got here about 5min before my check in appointment. The service guy who checked me made a comment that another advisor was assigned to my car blah blah blah he checked me asked if I was going to wait I said yes I'll wait it's only a oil change.They took my car in pretty quickly I saw them finish with my car about 8:10am I waited about 15 min before going to the customer service window to ask about my car. The lady behind the counter said I haven't received your paperwork they are still processing it blah blah blah it's 8:50am and I'm still waiting on the paperwork. Let's see how long it take for them to process my paperwork.It's my fault I keep coming here Rotolo has the worst customer service. read more
