I want to leave a 5+ review for Rock Honda, (which is under some renovations but still accessible) I especially would like to thank Mason..my salesman, Adam..sales manager, Ahmad..general sells manager, Julio..service manager as well as all the individuals working in parts and services. I purchased my car a little over a week ago 2026 CRV Sports Touring Hybrid and I love it!!! Cannot say how much I love my car.. the day of purchase when arriving home to Barstow and hanging my keys, I noticed I lost a FOB, I was so upset, stressed out and so worried about what it would cost to replace since these FOBs can be pretty pricey (FOB and programming ) and I called Rock Honda spoke first to my sales guy (Mason) who then referred me to Admad and they did everything to give me a new one with the help of all those in my review. They programmed it and they gave me the exact same FOB brand new. They were very kind, very patient very understanding and all of it with a smile on their face and solid handshake. If you are looking to buy a new Honda, I STRONGLY suggest that you go to Rock Honda (ask for Mason) in Fontana. I will definitely go back to purchase my daughter's car for graduation next June!!!!!! Matthew and the Service Team went above and beyond when no one else would. I rescued a 10 week old kitten that was wandering on the 215, and somehow this thing found its way into the electronics behind the steering column dashboard‍ I called a mechanic up the street from me and they refused to help, then a crash auto body shop but they outright declined to help. I called Rock Honda and explained the situation and without hesitation, Matthew told me they'd help. The Service Team was able to locate and rescue the kitten. They gave it water and had placed into a cat cage I brought from home. My experience at Rock Honda, from purchasing two vehicles to this animal rescue has certainly earned them continued patronage from me. Firstly, do some research on what the symptoms of your car may be. The dealer will recommend things that may or may not be necessary. I waited for my repair. I recommend to never wait for it. An appointment doesn't help much either. I am past the 4th hour of waiting and I was told it would be 3 hours. I finally got an update at 1:05 pm. I have been here since 8:30 am. This is a return repair because the AC wasn't fully fixed the first time. The condenser they replaced in March is leaking again. Thankfully there was no charge to replace it again. The last time I came in, they diagnosed my car for 4 hours and then told me the bad news of having to spend $2,000 on an AC repair that they classified as "the perfect hit" which the previous dealer also said so the warranty did not cover it. Also, the mechanics ripped off my car cradle from the window and scattered the things from my glove compartment in the back seat. Unfortunately, there are some things only the dealer can fix under warranty. Find a good mechanic and bypass the dealer entirely if you can. read more

Our eldest sons van started to show signs of getting ready to breakdown. So we decided that it was best to get a new ride. He talked with its either Fready or Frankie and told him we'd be there on Friday or Saturday. We showed up Saturday. We we're greeted by a friendly welcoming gentleman named Moe. He took my son for a test drive as my son knew exactly what he wanted. A 2026 honda passport. He liked how it drove and already loved the looked. So Moe took us into the sale bungalows as Rock Honda is under renovations. Moe was very welcoming, kind, and curious. Moe then took us to meet Fready or its Frankie. (I'm horrible with names) lol Fready or Frankie was doing the credit check and helping run the #'s. There was another older man but to be honest he wasn't my favorite as he kept trying to sneak in more charges. Saying that the wheels, tires, mats, and ext..Weren't included in price. That's why I took off one star as they shouldn't try to screw people over. Your already going make a big sale. Don't try to take advantage even more! As we had already confirmed the price on the vehicle and that it indeed included all the extras. I had to be blunt and say if they weren't gonna honor that price we'd be going elsewhere. Fready or Frankie jumped in and said he'd make it right. As we we're getting frustrated. We already were anticipating them trying to up sale as that's what happens at all dealerships. We just appreciate Freddy or Frankie understanding that we had a set # and we weren't going over it. We finally agreed on a price and then Fready orFrankie took us over to the finance bungalow. We met a nice young man who helped us. Im so sorry I forgot his name as he was awesome. If it wasn't for Fready or Frankie, Moe and the young man in finance dept. We would have left. Typically, as long as you have a valid drivers license and full coverage insurance you should be able to test drive a vehicle . Visit date: 4/15/26 I had a very disappointing experience at Rock Honda yesterday and feel it's important to share. I came in around noon to explore my lease options, thinking I was nearing the end of my current lease on my 2024 Honda Prologue Elite, which I absolutely love. Raphael assisted me initially and was great, professional, helpful, and welcoming. However, my experience completely shifted when I spoke with Sales Manager Cedric. For context, when I leased my current Prologue in 2024, I put $0 down with a credit score around 650 and secured a payment of $865. At the time, I was making about $90K. Since then, my situation has improved significantly, my credit score is now around 730, my income has increased, and I have a perfect payment history. I have never missed a payment and often pay extra. Despite all of that, I was told I would need to put $8,000 down and take on a $1,100 monthly payment to get into a new vehicle. That made absolutely no sense given my stronger financial profile and loyalty to Honda. The difference in service compared to my previous experience was night and day. I left feeling frustrated and honestly like I was being taken advantage of rather than helped. It did not feel like my best interest was a priority. This is my second Honda lease, and I have been a loyal customer since 2022, but this experience made me seriously reconsider returning. I would much rather work with someone who is transparent and customer focused. I only come here because of my service plan, like clockwork the same thing always happens. I decided to try a Thursday for a service appt. Work half day to ease the blow, appt time 1pm arrive 1245 wait till 115 for the service advisor to help me. He of course tries to upsell me, then tells me a couple of hours for a oil change. I ask what is the point of an appt if you wait 30 mins for check in and then a couple of hours. Not to mention the lack of urgency of the staff. One female advisor chilling on her phone no worries in the world. The others move at a snails pace, the fact that each time I come in a whole new set of advisors. I only seen 2 familar faces from my 6 years of coming here. Once my service plan is done I am switching dealerships! Because of this car purchase, I deeply regret choosing this vehicle. I bought a brand new 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid, and after only two years the engine has started to shake, which is extremely concerning for a newer car. On top of that, the lane assist system has begun glitching and works inconsistently, creating safety concerns. I also constantly receive USB error messages that have never been fully resolved. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I purchased the extended warranty expecting peace of mind, but it now feels like a scam. Issues continue to come up, yet getting meaningful support or solutions has been difficult and disappointing. Freddy (Sales) - In helping my daughter (over the course of about a week) I had talked to Freddy several times about price and what I was hoping to get in comparing to another Honda dealership. Freddy was super patient and understanding and walked me through a couple of options. Ultimately, we decided Freddy was going to deliver what he had promised, and we drove from Long Beach just to Fontana to purchase the Honda CRV Hybrid in the color she wanted. Have to admit I was nervous that we would show up and maybe the price would go up but Freddy came through like a champ! The other Honda dealer provided no movement on the price and Freddy truly worked with us. Freddy even helped us get a great deal on cargo tray and seat mats. Excellent customer service! Manuel (Finance) - explained everything in detail and processed my daughter's paperwork pretty quickly. Excellent customer service again! I called to inquire about a different vehicle and was told it was not ready it was being serviced for a replacement fuel tank on a car with 3,000 miles on it due to rats. We came back test drove a different car and decuided to sit down and run numbers the sale manager John was completely rude an incompetent we had a gredat credit score some money down and a fair trade. He lowballed my trade by thousnads and kept pushing us to get a brand new much smaller car we did not want. He claimed my payment would need to be near $700 for a 31,000 vehicle. Terrible experience he didn't even try. We left the next day went to Riverside auto group drove off with a newer Passport. Do NOT take your car here for service. They do not want your business. Just check the other reviews. I made an appointment last week for some recall repairs. I showed up yesterday early to my 10 am appointment, only to be ignored until I got out of my car and waved someone down. No one moves with ANY urgency... it's like the DMV scene from Zootopia there. Everyone is moving through jello. Maria finally helps me, just to tell me they won't get my repairs done today and I should have been 3 hours early if I wanted it done same day. (Excuse me for taking the first appointment available.) Maria tells me I can come back today at 8 and they can absolutely get the recalls taken care of in the same day if I just get there at 8. So I did. I got there at 8 and again, no one would assist me until I physically exited my vehicle and flagged someone down, 30 minutes after my appointment time (clearly the appointments are a joke.) Some man that says he's the service manager says he'll help me and to leave my keys with him and he'll give me a call shortly. Ok, sounds better, so I get an Uber and head home. (After Maria made a snarky comment to her coworker not realizing i was in ear shot.) I start asking for updates around noon, to finally get a call from Isaac at 1:30. THIS gem of a man starts off the call with "we don't work on recalls until the end of the day sorry" and says they might need to order parts. SO glad I brought it in at 8 like Maria said. Everyone here clearly knows what they're doing. Only the sharpest of tools in THIS shed. Fast forward to 5:40. Isaac has said they've fixed everything but one update. Cool. We do paperwork, and they pull my car around. I get in my car, turn it on, and THE SCREEN WON'T TURN ON. Isaac comes back out, I tell him about the screen and he says "well we fixed the fuel pump, that's more important." ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? What's the solution now, you might ask? Oh I can bring my car back to them tomorrow and Isaac will "see what they can do" and I "might have to leave it again." Oh how i can't wait to see how epicly they manage to fail me tomorrow. DO NOT give this dealership your business. they are a bunch of crooks, i went there three times to fix an oil leak which they charged me over 300 dollars too, turns out they didn't even fix the issue and also it caused more damage to my vehicle because the issue wasn't fixed. you call to express concerns and they pass the bucket from department to department just so they don't have to deal with anything. so in other words i basically paid them to cause more damage to my car. mind you i haven't even owned this car for 1 year yet . i regret ever giving them a cent of my money. they also sold me the car with an old battery than with not even having the car for 3 months wanted to charge me full price to change the battery when they sold it to me like that! the battery was 6 years old! why even sign the inspection check if you don't actually INSPECT the vehicles? my question is what does service and parts if they are not fixing the vehicles fully? overall i'm just extremely upset and disappointed and didn't even get to speak to a manger about all these issues on the phone since they literally don't answer. so the only thing i CAN do is leave a review to save others from experiencing this unprofessionalism of this place. read more

We purchased a used Subaru for our teenage daughter in December. We declined the strange third party warranty they offered us, despite many hard sell attempts. Maybe we should have taken that as a sign? Within two months the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. The car wouldn't drive without stalling out. Our local mechanic recommended we take it back to the dealership where we bought it. He said it was "a mess". We decided to get a second opinion and took it to a Subaru dealership. We paid $3k on repairs of coils, sensors, fluids, etc. A week later, the lights were back on. More coils replaced. Here we are, barely at month 4 and we're back to a lit up dashboard. I understand a risk of buying a used car, any car, really. However, it's hard to believe that it's just a coincidence we're having so many problems after it was "fully inspected" for sale at Rock. The car was inspected, all paperwork was completed, and the vehicle was delivered to Rock Honda exactly as agreed. We were told payment would be sent immediately and overnight. That never happened. Days later, after multiple follow-ups, we were informed that payment could take weeks due to internal processing. This was never disclosed upfront and only came to light after the dealership had possession of the vehicle. As of the time of this review, we still have not been paid, despite the dealership having the car and all required documentation. Communication has been poor and inconsistent. We were given changing explanations, vague timelines, and repeated assurances that updates or tracking information would be provided, which did not occur. There was no sense of urgency or ownership of the situation, which made an already stressful experience far worse. Selling a vehicle should be a straightforward and transparent process. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering selling a vehicle to Rock Honda to fully understand the payment process and not rely on verbal assurances.
