I financed a truck for $16,000 and have been making payments of $528 per month for the past three year, over $19,000 paid so far. Despite that, I'm being told I still owe more than $8,000. So I financed a car with them 2 years ago! Paid it on time for the first year then lost my job but was able to get temp jobs until I found my now permanent job. Anyways... I called to explain my situation and they didn't care one bit couldn't extend it for another 48 hours!!! And threaten me to turn my car off and pick it up within the next few hours... so lucky I was able to barrow from my dad.... then a few months later i get into a accident the car is totaled my stupid mistake I drove with no insurance but told them the address of where I left the car! Weeks go by they blow my phone up and my aunt tells me the car is still parked there I still was willing to make payments since I was close to paying it off like 4 or 5 months left... they kept harassing me about the car even though I told them where it was at and once they pick up like they agreed to do we can go with a payment arrangement!!! They never got the car and I got multiple tickets in front of my aunts house for no city sticker so eventually I had to get it towed to a junk yard... 1 week after I junk it they come to my house posing as a legal processor asking where I am and the car even tho I told them. My mother simply says I'm not home the next day my home security shows the same man who came to my house who we later confirmed worked at pronto finance walking in my yard looking in the kitchen harassment didn't stop for about a month!! Be careful they are very friendly at first they do not work with you I wasn't even 2 months behind I was 16 days late buttwipes!!! if I was able to post the video surveillance I would lol completely unprofessional if u wanted your car u would have picked it up after I told you where it was multiple times and already said I would continue my payments that was left til it was paid off!! Okay so I'll be fair I had no credit and they financed a car for me when no one else would but that's where the positive ends. They make you agree to a GPS locator that can remotely shut your car off at any time which at the time was fine. I had a good job no plans on leaving and had always made payments early or on time my credit jumped up to 650. At about a year on my loan I got let go from my job. I took a job with way less pay after one month of looking because i was already a month behind. My credit dropped over 150 points after the first late payment. I've been steadily a month behind and unable to catch up since December. Within two days i would have 44 voicemails and 42 of them were the finance company. Mainly an automated voicemail that is spanish and I don't speak Spanish a few from actual agents. Their business hours are the same as my work hours. Payday was yesterday but I was unable to reach them while at work and when I got out they were closed. Payment options outside of business hours are limited. You can set up auto pay, call and make a payment during business hours, or send in a paper check. I don't have paper checks and have not set up auto pay because I pay when the money is there mainly early sometimes a day or two late up until losing my job. I have asked multiple times over a year when their website would be back up and running for online payments and always got the answer hopefully soon. When I'm at lunch at work they seem to be too since there is never any answer. My car is currently shut off and won't start. I'm one month behind which i tried calling today when I woke up to make a payment but they don't open till 9. I found out when i went to drop my son off at school. I was supposed to work 8am-12pm today because i had an interview at a company at 2pm which pays the same as i used to make. I will now not be making it to work or to the interview furthering my struggle. My payment this month was the 17th so i was also 4 days late on that payment. The plan was to pay 1 payment today and the next tomorrow when my tax check hit the bank to finally be caught up but when I call it's impossible to reach anyone during the hours I'm available. I'm furious and just want to cry at this point. This company seems to be based on taking advantage of those who desperately need a car loan with no credit or bad credit with extremely high interest rate. They approve you knowing you will make payments but that you will likely eventually default. Then they will shut your car off furthering you from being able to go to work to catch back up so that they can repo your car keep the money you already paid and then resell it. If you're desperate sure it's an almost guarantee you will get approved but you will be paying high payments and they will make you hate your car for the burden it will become if you have a setback. If you can just stay away. Save up cash and buy up front or find a reputable company to work with. read more

Claims of interest or late fees over the loan agreement. Or insurance all of a sudden at close of loan agreement. I think this finance company takes advantage of individuals really trying to build their credit. I've been there and know I've had issues! This is not a financial company that will help. They are looking to repossess your vehicle towards the end of your loan agreement to resell again on their car lots they are in bed with. Personally, my loan agreement was for my teenage son and was not my main vehicle. We really wanted to surprise our son Christmas of 2018 with a down payment on a 2007 Volkswagen Beetle. The loan agreement was for only a remaining $3000. We wanted our son to experience his first lesson in making a small payment and paying a bill. I contacted Pronto the next day (after I saw the inquiry on my credit report) and they could not care less. They were so unhelpful. They told me they couldn't help me unless I provided them with my SSN, which I would not do. I asked to speak to their security department, they would not transfer me, told me someone would call me back, would not provide a name of a security officer, and ultimately did not call me back. read more

First time financing something and this company gave me the worst first experience. When I first got my truck through them they would harass me every day, leaving voicemails, calling my job everyday to verify that I was employed (even after my manager gave them HRs number) I had to tell them several times to stop calling because I was working. They will bug you with calls and send you a bunch of junk mail, threatening with late fees if you don't respond soon enough for them. I tried to change my card for auto pay and I emailed one of their workers a over a week before faxing over the paperwork. I emailed them after letting them know that I sent it. I called to make sure they got it, turns out they lost it. Then the worker said she wasn't in charge of changing the payments unless it was only the card. But if she read the form I sent her, I added my card and banking info. She said a supervisor would call me back -- never got a call so guess what I have to do tomorrow morning! Call them for the 5th time this month. Every time I try to ask a question about my account/fax/email something, no one knows the answer or loses my paperwork. A lot of "ummm" and "uhhhs" or "I'm not in charge of that". They do nothing to accommodate you. They don't care if you need help with something, they'll say whatever to get you off the phone. If I could return my truck at this point and not even get my money back I would, JUST to stop dealing with this sloppy company. If you're looking to finance with this company DON'T DO IT. Save yourself the headaches. They do not value their clients! Biggest mistake for me was not researching the company before signing my contract. Lesson learned! read more

When we really needed a car and my husband had super shitty credit, which I couldn't help with for various reasons, Pronto Finance was the only company willing to help us. Even with his low credit score our interest rate is reasonable. Payments are due on the same day every month and they also have an online bill pay thing which is really convenient although there is a $10 processing fee for that but most places have a processing fee anyway. You get a 10 day grace period before they charge you any type of late fee and in my experience, they've held up their word on this. There are no "hidden fees" and the staff is actually pretty nice there. If you're receiving random fees and such as the first reviewer seems to be, perhaps it would be of some use to review your contract and figure out what you're doing wrong to get all these fees; this is a two way street. The only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is because there was a bit of miscommunication when we switched our insurance but that was sorted out. Best of all, the husband's credit score has jumped an impressive few points and we are more than capable of refinancing, but we actually like this company and a quarter of the way done with our 42 month term. read more

Just awful, absolutely no compassion for people just trying to start off. They exploit their own people and then expect you to say thank you. My car was totaled and my insurance clearly told them that I would no longer be making payments, for they would be purchasing the car and taking care of the balance of my loan. Obviously this takes a couple weeks to process, and they insisted everyday that I make the payments regardless. Absolutely not! Why would I do that if you already settled with my insurance? Just plain evil. So after arguing with them everyday for two weeks they send me a letter thanking me for paying off the account and offering their business for another loan. Ha! That's not going to happen especially since they put my account into delinquency after they sent out the letter of the account closing. Getting a lawyer to straighten it out, can't waste anymore time talking to these incompetent, conniving, snakes. Please go somewhere else, no they are not doing you a favor by giving you a loan!!
