We were coming to this dealer several times but the last visit we were very dissatisfied, they change the whole leather seat cover for drivers seat ,it was not covered by infinity manufacter, so they offer us a favor and did it on their cost which we appreciate it a lot ,its just the job was done very poorly leather was was not pulled tight enough on on the top of the seat ,it was all wrinkled ant aired ,we called and asked how it can be fixed they said wait a month, leather should shrink ,which was hard-to believe any way we waited 2 monthes and there was no change at all, I called again they told to stop by but I already felt they are not happy to deal with it ,we'll they knew they did it bad ,we stopped the next morning, they were not helpful at all I can say even were mean ,offered to steam the leather with no guarantee it will fix the wrinkles and on the top we have to pay now,we left just saying thank you for good service ,the point is if you offered to help customer doing a favor at least do it right nice job and don't make it to look worst than it was before ,so now we have 2024 very low mileage and all loaded infinity with ugly driver seat ,from such a luxury car dealer you should have a better service,we have 3 infinitys but we would not go there anymore read more

We bought a used Jaguar F Type from here about two weeks ago. Patrick was an amazing help, without being crazy pushy. Honestly the whole staff from the porters to the finance manager were truly helpful. Every question we had was addressed and we weren't there the whole day. When the final signing went in to after hours, I was really impressed that nobody rushed us out, and at least one person from each department waited for us to be done. Even after the deal was done nobody rushed us or chased us out, but instead chatted for a few and said not worry about racing back in the morning with the title to the car we traded in. They told us take our time and enjoy the morning and the car because they would be there. When we went back in the morning we were told they wanted to properly detail the car if we had time. I mean I can go on on, but really as someone who has been around dealerships their whole life, I can't even begin to tell you how real, and how great this team is to work with!!! read more

Let me start off by saying I had problems in the past with a zeigler dealership. So it was a little bit weary about stopping in here based on that , however this was a great place a very good experience. Dakota the sales rep was great he was patient and did not try to be pushy , he made the whole experience flow smoothly. He really knows his stuff. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, he contacted Antwain in the service department to check a couple things we were concerned about Antwain is great at what he does also very friendly , Marcin in finance was also very great he explained all the finances very well , I really enjoyed how Dakota and Marcin were straight forward didn't try yo push us into anything like extras, these guys guys are pros, even the other staff we encountered were all friendly, they offer free Starbucks coffee , water and snacks while you wait , I had some Starbucks , I totally highly recommend this dealership and these guys , it was great doing business with them , great service all the way through, great read more

STAY AWAY! I went into this dealership with my son to buy him a used car. It happed to also be his 20th birthday. He was very interested in a VW Golf that they had for sale. The car was listed for around $ 20,500.00 (don't remember the exact price). Our sales guy (Edgar) was nice but clearly took the "used car salesman course" and pitched the car, the dealership, the great "ethics" of the dealership, how they are vey transparent, etc. While on the test drive, he was trying to sell the Z-Shield car maintenance plan as well as the LoJack system that was installed in the car. He said the dealership would cover the first 2 years of the subscription, and that we would be responsible for it after the 2 years. He also kept pushing the fact that insurance companies LOVE this system and we can get up to 20% off our car insurance. Just an FYI - American Family in Illinois does NOT offer any credits for this system. We got back from the test drive and he went to the business manager to come up with the official proposal. He came back with the car price of the online listed price $20K, the Z-Shield for $ 2,000.00 and the LoJack system for another $ 1,900.00 along with the reconditioning fee of $ 975.00 and other misc charges. I told him absolutely not on the Z-Shield and LoJack and to take them off the quote. He replied with the dealership installed the LoJack so there are time and materials involved with the install that they need to cover. I said that was VERY shady and that if they added something to the car, they should list the price as being $ 22,000.00 not $ 20,000.00 just to get you in the door. I told him go back to whoever came up with the quote and to remove these extra charges or we were leaving. He came back after a bit and they were magically removed, although the reconditioning fee of $ 975.00 was renamed LoJack. We did buy the car and my son drove it home to Libertyville, about a 45 minute drive. We got home, he parked the car and got picked up by some friends and went out of town for a week. The car sat in my driveway the entire time. He got home after a week and went to work. When I got home there was a spot on the driveway that I thought I initially though was water. The next day, same thing. He went to work and there was another spot where he parked. We checked the car and there was no oil in it, the dipstick was completely dry. The spot on the driveway was oil that had leaked out. We have a concrete driveway, so this was easily spotted. If it was asphalt, I don't know if we would have noticed it as quickly. I called the dealership to find out who the extended warranty (Luckily I got one) was through. I got a call back from the used car manager (don't remember his name) who said basically that it's a used car and things go wrong. He said he looked up this car through the VIN # and there is a recall through VW for oil leaks, so maybe this is the problem. I had the car towed to the VW dealership near me to have them look at the car. I checked with VW directly, and this car had no recalls listed. The service manager at VW was great. I told him about this awful experience and he said he would look at the car as soon as it was dropped off and get back to me. He called me and said that the dealer where I bought it did an oil change on it with an aftermarket oil filter that didn't fit properly and all of the oil leaked out. He also checked over the car to make sure that there were no other problems that he could find. He said since there was nothing else wrong, he just charged me for an oil change. I will NEVER go to this dealership again and possibly never to a Ziegler member if possible. I told my son this is why I hate buying cars. I guess the good thing is that he saw this first hand at 20 years old and when he needs to buy another car, he knows what to look out for. read more

I usually don't write reviews but dealing with this Customer Service Rep. who picked up the phone as if she was in Sales and knew everything about selling a car and upon asking to be transferred over to the Manager or someone in Sales, she hung up on me. Her name was Lesly. I called last Saturday and thought it was a good day to inquire about buying a Q60 and started asking some questions, her attitude and tone of voice was so haughty despite having ZERO knowledge about cars or being in the business. If this is the type of customer service people, they have to serve customers - Then, it is time for a big change because it all starts in Customer Relations first! I had a really good experience purchasing a 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG from what was then-Mortowerks Infiniti of Hoffman Estates in November 2019. I had been looking for a low mileage 2015-2016 GL63 AMG or certified pre-owned 2017 GLS550 for several months. I initially started by contacting sister dealership Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates. I met with Stephanie Smith who was ridiculously slow in meeting with me after I'd made an appointment. I test drove a CPO 2017 GLS550 that I liked. After the test drive, it was announced that the price of the vehicle had increased by thousands of dollars...nuts. They refused to even come down to the original price I'd been quoted without removing the CPO. Forget it. It wasn't even optioned exactly the way I wanted. Not long after that, I met with Patryk Kowalkowski, a salesman at Infiniti, who showed me the 2015 GL63 they had on their lot. I loved it. But, I didn't have time to complete the transaction that night, and I also was considering a Porsche Cayenne S that a friend was selling at another dealership. Fast forward, Infiniti of Hoffman Estates put out all of the stops to craft a deal with me that I felt comfortable with on their high-quality car. I got a few thousand dollars off, good financing from Bank of America, and they even found an extended warranty (this is next to impossible on a Mercedes-AMG vehicle). I was a bit sad when I learned that Pat wasn't with the dealership anymore. I would like to thank him for advocating on my behalf and pulling together a satisfactory deal. read more

Dealership ADAMANT a vehicle should have a transmission flush, front and rear differential and transfer case flush DESPITE Infinity Owners Manual, Infinity Corp and EVERYTHING on the web.... Saying INSPECT every 60,000 miles INSPECT! For my make and model these are not serviceable items unless there is an issue found. Now for someone that might not know better, might not read their owners manual, this facility will love you and your pocketbooks. As an "independently" owned dealership, they are allowed to advise people to do things outside your owners manual, but what I hatted was that despite everything out there saying don't touch, they wanted to argue and say it still should be done. Buyer beware here.... Know your owners manual. It CLEARLY states what you need and when and unless there's an issue, stick to what the manufacture of your vehicle recommends, not a pushy service department. Very incompetent stuff! In my case they said they check the ignition coils on 1st and 2nd cylinder but only one coil was touched. The rest remained dusty like no one had ever come near them. 4 days before I brought my vehicle to this dealership I had oil change done but my oil is black and below the normal. By all my observations you have a very incompetent mechanics and assistance staff. It took them 2 hours and 10 minutes to change my oil and at the end I'm driving with completely dirty oil. Turns out the truck has no front license plate holder, which is illegal in Illinois. We didn't know this until all the paperwork was signed and it was time to install the front plate. No problem they said they would order one for me from one of their other dealerships. I called back after a week to check on it and it hadn't been ordered. I have been to many different Infiniti's to get my car serviced and this by far has been the best one based on the service I received. I have worked with Jason since coming here and he has been so helpful because he really takes the time to explain everything to you so that you understand what is going on with your vehicle. He is not pushy at all which I have experienced with other Infiniti's so this is greatly appreciated. This past visit when I thought I was getting something minor fixed it turned out to be a little more serious. Jason actually took me back to where my car was being serviced to show me exactly what was wrong. I actually got to speak to the guy working on my car and he made sure I understood which put me at ease. The service here is 5 stars for sure. For the actual dealership the lot is good size but the building is not that big and the show room is pretty small. I can't say this is the nicest Infiniti I have been too based on the small waiting room and the bathrooms which are not what you would expect at a higher ended dealership. She greeted me, along with Jeremiah Ferguson, also a customer care specialist. They assured me that it would be looked at soon by a service technician. Both Ilona and Jeremiah were very helpful. I sat in the waiting room for a 1/2 hour and service technician, Matt Kaminski, came to me and said he resolved the issue and explained how to handle the situation if it happens again. We have purchased four Infiniti vehicles at four different dealerships. When recently out shopping for number 4, we visited Infiniti of Hoffman Estates. We did not purchase here. This dealership's presentation is by far nowhere close to that of the competitors we have purchased from. We were seeking out a particular set of specifications for a QX80, hence the reason we did not visit one of the previous dealerships we worked with, as they did not have what we needed in immediate inventory. We made a special trip to Hoffman Estates to see a QX80 that they had on the lot. We had to hunt down a sales person. This is odd... and maybe appreciated by some, but there was a general aura of disinterest by the sales staff milling around. We finally connected with Yanni. He presented as though selling a car was low on his list of priorities for the day. Nonetheless, I took the vehicle on a test drive. Yanni lacked any sort of friendly personality that a sales person should carry. The dealership low balled our trade-in ($2000 less than offered at other dealerships). Be careful here. The trade in offer included a deduction for "reconditioning", then they deducted more, claiming normal wear and tear. My husband is meticulous with vehicles, and other than needing a car wash from the drive there, the vehicle was in pristine condition for the year. We walked away, and found a much better all around deal elsewhere. The other dealership even commented on the phenomenal condition of our trade in. Less important, but notable issues here also include a run down dealership. Furnishings and restrooms are outdated, particularly for a luxury car dealership. read more

My experience dealing with this company was very disappointing. I had a vehicle in the service department and was also looking to trade the vehicle in on another car. I was bounced around between the two departments. The two departments apparently never discussed my situation or cared to call me about the miscommunication. To make matters worse, the mechanic who looked at my car offered me a price to buy my car directly, which I accepted. From one point of view, sales George is one of best sales I have met from past few days car shopping experience: He is full of passion, very professional and easy to talk to. But his attitude is pretty nice and consistent. I texted him a no-urgent question on the way home. He texted me back less than 30 minutes to answer my question and explain why it happens. Four hour drive with my family for a car I've been communicating with a salesman with for over a week. Listing price $12500 which is in fact fair market value. Immediately after our test drive he says "I wish you would have come up earlier because someone else is now in a test drive and interested."(sleezy used car sales tactics). My wife went to check, the car, it never moved and a sales man was just sitting in it giving the appearance that someone else was" interested". I used to sale cars and I've seen lowlife salesman pull this type of crap before on a single mother with young children with her. Special place in hell for people like this! Anyway. I wanted the car and wasn't even going to negotiate because it was priced right.... Well... A $12499 quickly became a non-negotiable $16500 with their already installed low jack system that no one asked for and is nowhere in their site or in their business model. Others fixed fees that weren't in the listed price was the warranty and recoup fees for repairs they supposedly done to the car equally $1200 being passed on to me, the potential new owner. I simply and calmly said I want the car for the listed price! Funny imagine going to a dealer and having to negotiate FOR the original asking price. The sales manesaid it says all this in the website. I asked him to show me and he prints out the small print that states that the dealership may change the price of the car as they see fit. Huh? Still not a good enough answer because the price is still listed for $12499. But they think a sucker is born ever day but not me, not me. I wasn't taking out a 5 year loan for $16500 for a car that's only valued at $12500. I've never experienced anything like this in my life, it was like an episode of the twilight zone. While I was leaving I told the salesboys when someone is driving 4 hours with their family to see a car on your lot you need to tell them that additional hidden fees will be added! His reply to that was, "you should have asked". No one and I mean no one should ever have to assume and asked about hidden fees in a clearly listed asking price! This car was in their lot for 108 days and when they finally get an interested buyer they pull they whole Simone else is interested so you should pay $4 grand over value so you can have it. Before I left I told the sleazeball salesman that they should let people know before they drive four hours with their families that their lot has nonnegotiable hidden fees. They advertised a QX60 for $66930 that has a MSRP $68930. I offered them $71000 out the door inclusive of tax, which is only $700 less than their asking price of $66930. They wanted $81000 for the car once I got to the dealership! They then offered to 'meet me in the middle' at $76000. Avoid the dealership at all costs. Their advertised prices mean nothing and are simply a trick to get you to come into the showroom, at which time they will tack on $10k to the price of the car. Absolute crooks. read more

I purchased a vehicle from out of state. I asked the salesman Devonte if the truck had any damage on the body. He said no, added that they were an Infinity dealership and would not sell a vehicle of that kind of quality. Long story short, they lied. My truck was delivered and had rust on the body that caused paint to bubble. I called them, spoke to sales manager Chris and asked them to work with me on the issue, they said they would do nothing. They said it is not damage but is just wear and tear. They are dishonest and would not do the right thing when I gave them a chance to. They forced me to use their financing since I was out of state, forced me to purchase Lojack when I did not want it, and charged me for a reconditioning fee on the truck that still had damage. If you're an out of state buyer move on. Not worth it. read more

Even with great process and quality control, every business is going to have issues with the products they offer and sell. My interest and recommendation isn't in the actual issue, because there were issues beyond anyone's control. However Infiniti of Hoffman Estates did an outstanding job of ensuring my time was as valuable to them as it was for me. I have never been so "hands-off" with service and maintenance. Rick and Dave brought me a loaner car... and then returned my car when the service was complete. I've bought a number of new cars and they those dealers made you feel like a jerk for requesting a loaner even for major repair. Rick and Dave went above and beyond to make sure I wasn't inconvenienced... on a used car. This was the first time I bought a used car. I got a good price and was treated very well during and after the sale. If I was going to buy a used car I would most definitely get it from MotorWerks. If I was in the market for a new luxury car I would definitely buy from them. They are the real deal in the luxury experience. I am not happy with my experience with infinity of Hoffman estates. This is a beautiful dealership, they have very nice inventory. I was treated poorly here. I had my car loan application done by Ryan M....not consistent, never returns your call after the deal is done unless he needs some paper work signed. I was assured certain repairs and updates were taken care of on my used car, Detailing is standard...my car wasn't. I had to get all the way home to realize this fact. I was told there were new wipers, detailing done, oil change etc. wipers were old, car wasn't clean no oil change documented. I had to bring it back There were malfunctions popping up after I got it home. There were 3 different issues. They suggested that I bring it back, gave me a loaner, I left my car for two days, there was no service ticket ever put in and no service record of anything being done. I called the person that called and spoke to me about my car, he stated he was the person responsible for my repairs being done. Marson. I picked up my car, nothing was done to my car. Tried to purchase a vehicle that was confirmed available. Asked if I could come in to test drive, left me hanging for an entire weekend. On Monday told me the car was sold before I contacted them but they had a ton of great infinity's in stock. Which wasn't not the vehicle I was looking and then they tried to get me to come in to test drive a car that I didn't want that was 15k over what I wanted to spend. I complained to the "customer relations manager" got an email back saying they would do anything to get my business. The next day I get an email saying they found the exact car I was looking for and then no response for 2 days. I look at the listing it's the same listing that I inquired about last week. The advisor makes up a story about how "it's over 45k" with no further explanation. It's over 45k miles? Or $45 dollars. Just over 45k is the reason he didn't respond back. But the listing says the vehicle is $34,800 and has 16k miles on it. Everything about this experience gives off that cringe used car sales feel. Even if they have the vehicle I'm looking for and better price than anywhere else. I would not take my business here. read more

Came here looking at a used vehicle that was listed at this dealership through Car Gurus. Came in on a Saturday and walked around for awhile before we were greeted by a salesperson. This was a first. We've been to six dealerships in a few weeks and were immediately greeted at the other places. We met with Yanny who did the usual car salesperson talk as we sat down in his office. We told him the vehicle we were interested in and he said he'd go get it off the lot and bring it to the side door. We waited...and waited. After 15 minutes, we were wondering what was taking so long. So we got up and walked to the side door and didn't see Yanny or the car. We went outside and looked around - still no sign of either! We noticed the car was missing from the spot it was originally parked in, so someone was obviously driving it. (And it wasn't us!) As we looked towards Golf Rd, we saw Yanny driving the car down Golf Rd coming back towards the dealership! Big red flag if the salesperson has to drive the car around for awhile before we test drive it. We got in our car and left. Next thing we know, Yanny is texting and calling us. I texted Yanny back and told him why we left. He claimed he was getting the car washed to make sure it was "perfect" for us. Dude, we saw you driving the car down Golf Road! Don't take us for idiots. Also, heads up to this clueless dealership: When a customer comes in to test drive a vehicle, they want to drive it NOW. As it is right from the lot. They don't care if the outside of the car isn't spotless. The icing on the cake was, I had blocked Yanny's phone number so he couldn't call or text me anymore. Today, I got a call and voice mail from another one of their salesmen about the vehicle we came in to look at! Shahera was amazing! I didn't know that buying a new Infiniti could be so easy! So I came back and bought a pre owned vehicle for my son!

I had called saying that I was interested about a car and wanted to know more about it. I asked for the VIN number and they sent me the wrong vin for the car I was interested in. I was then paired with Lucas (Awesome sales guy) who was super nice. When I stopped in to look at the car I was passed of to sales man Edgar. He was nice but wayyyyy to pushy and would not appraise my trade or give me a number to even go home and think about. They said I had to buy the car that day. After that no one had followed up with me, Called me back, or even gave me the time of day when I had questions. I then got emails about the wrong car I was interested in and then an email that said the one I wanted and the similar one had sold. I feel like I drove 6.5 hours round trip for nothing. read more
