My amazing truck from the worst dealership on the planet
    Priscilla Z.

I was broken over my terrible experience and now I'm whole again! Thank you so much to Dick Barker for taking over and getting my dream truck fixed the right way! He never gave up and kept going until he succeeded! I am so grateful to finally have my truck back and performing the way it should have from day 1! I love it so much! I'm beyond excited every time to get behind the wheel now! Thank you a million times! Ky... you're an amazing mechanic. Thanks for taking it apart piece by piece and putting it back together!

    My new car yay

Let me start off by saying I had problems in the past with a zeigler dealership. So it was a little bit weary about stopping in here based on that , however this was a great place a very good experience. Dakota the sales rep was great he was patient and did not try to be pushy , he made the whole experience flow smoothly. He really knows his stuff. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, he contacted Antwain in the service department to check a couple things we were concerned about Antwain is great at what he does also very friendly , Marcin in finance was also very great he explained all the finances very well , I really enjoyed how Dakota and Marcin were straight forward didn't try yo push us into anything like extras, these guys guys are pros, even the other staff we encountered were all friendly, they offer free Starbucks coffee , water and snacks while you wait , I had some Starbucks , I totally highly recommend this dealership and these guys , it was great doing business with them , great service all the way through, great

Oil on my concrete driveway. Luckily I have a cat, so I covered it with kitty litter to soak up the oil

STAY AWAY! I went into this dealership with my son to buy him a used car. It happed to also be his 20th birthday. He was very interested in a VW Golf that they had for sale. The car was listed for around $ 20,500.00 (don't remember the exact price). Our sales guy (Edgar) was nice but clearly took the "used car salesman course" and pitched the car, the dealership, the great "ethics" of the dealership, how they are vey transparent, etc. While on the test drive, he was trying to sell the Z-Shield car maintenance plan as well as the LoJack system that was installed in the car. He said the dealership would cover the first 2 years of the subscription, and that we would be responsible for it after the 2 years. He also kept pushing the fact that insurance companies LOVE this system and we can get up to 20% off our car insurance. Just an FYI - American Family in Illinois does NOT offer any credits for this system. We got back from the test drive and he went to the business manager to come up with the official proposal. He came back with the car price of the online listed price $20K, the Z-Shield for $ 2,000.00 and the LoJack system for another $ 1,900.00 along with the reconditioning fee of $ 975.00 and other misc charges. I told him absolutely not on the Z-Shield and LoJack and to take them off the quote. He replied with the dealership installed the LoJack so there are time and materials involved with the install that they need to cover. I said that was VERY shady and that if they added something to the car, they should list the price as being $ 22,000.00 not $ 20,000.00 just to get you in the door. I told him go back to whoever came up with the quote and to remove these extra charges or we were leaving. He came back after a bit and they were magically removed, although the reconditioning fee of $ 975.00 was renamed LoJack. We did buy the car and my son drove it home to Libertyville, about a 45 minute drive. We got home, he parked the car and got picked up by some friends and went out of town for a week. The car sat in my driveway the entire time. He got home after a week and went to work. When I got home there was a spot on the driveway that I thought I initially though was water. The next day, same thing. He went to work and there was another spot where he parked. We checked the car and there was no oil in it, the dipstick was completely dry. The spot on the driveway was oil that had leaked out. We have a concrete driveway, so this was easily spotted. If it was asphalt, I don't know if we would have noticed it as quickly. I called the dealership to find out who the extended warranty (Luckily I got one) was through. I got a call back from the used car manager (don't remember his name) who said basically that it's a used car and things go wrong. He said he looked up this car through the VIN # and there is a recall through VW for oil leaks, so maybe this is the problem. I had the car towed to the VW dealership near me to have them look at the car. I checked with VW directly, and this car had no recalls listed. The service manager at VW was great. I told him about this awful experience and he said he would look at the car as soon as it was dropped off and get back to me. He called me and said that the dealer where I bought it did an oil change on it with an aftermarket oil filter that didn't fit properly and all of the oil leaked out. He also checked over the car to make sure that there were no other problems that he could find. He said since there was nothing else wrong, he just charged me for an oil change. I will NEVER go to this dealership again and possibly never to a Ziegler member if possible. I told my son this is why I hate buying cars. I guess the good thing is that he saw this first hand at 20 years old and when he needs to buy another car, he knows what to look out for.

My 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL63 purchased from Infiniti Hoffman
    John W.

I had a really good experience purchasing a 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG from what was then-Mortowerks Infiniti of Hoffman Estates in November 2019. I had been looking for a low mileage 2015-2016 GL63 AMG or certified pre-owned 2017 GLS550 for several months. I initially started by contacting sister dealership Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates. I met with Stephanie Smith who was ridiculously slow in meeting with me after I'd made an appointment. I test drove a CPO 2017 GLS550 that I liked. After the test drive, it was announced that the price of the vehicle had increased by thousands of dollars...nuts. They refused to even come down to the original price I'd been quoted without removing the CPO. Forget it. It wasn't even optioned exactly the way I wanted. Not long after that, I met with Patryk Kowalkowski, a salesman at Infiniti, who showed me the 2015 GL63 they had on their lot. I loved it. But, I didn't have time to complete the transaction that night, and I also was considering a Porsche Cayenne S that a friend was selling at another dealership. Fast forward, Infiniti of Hoffman Estates put out all of the stops to craft a deal with me that I felt comfortable with on their high-quality car. I got a few thousand dollars off, good financing from Bank of America, and they even found an extended warranty (this is next to impossible on a Mercedes-AMG vehicle). I was a bit sad when I learned that Pat wasn't with the dealership anymore. I would like to thank him for advocating on my behalf and pulling together a satisfactory deal.

    Damaged liner

I came to service my vehicle here to have an alignment done and my seat belts replace and upon replacing my seat belts my door liner wasn't put back properly and my back up sensor blinking due to malfunction. Unless these issues are addressed i will keep this negative review

I could not in good conscience allow this beloved business to depart without acknowledging my gratitude. I moved here at age seven back in 1984. My father learned about Larry & Dan's from customers soon after we moved. Since then, until his untimely passing two years ago, he has only taken his vehicle to Larry & Dan's, and refused to go anywhere else. The quality of the work, the dependability, the honesty, and kindness from the mechanics were all the reasons we kept going. I cannot begin to express how many difficult situations over the years I've had with vehicles that Larry & Dan's mechanics not only went out of their way to take care of me, but at times did so free of cost. A simple eyeball inspection at times, to a recent occasion where I hit a curb and screwed up the front passenger's side bumper, that a mechanic put zip ties on it to secure it - for free. The cashier ladies over the years knew more about cars sometimes than the mechanics. They'd take down descriptions and pass it through the window like a chef reading off a recipe. They made good conversation in the always stressful experience it is going to have a car fixed. They put you at ease. Over the years the mechanics went out of their way, too, to find affordable solutions for customers going through difficult financial times. Their mechanics would pick up parts. They would research and find good quality used parts and devise a strategy to go and pick it up, then reduce labor cost on the bill. Recent experiences of mine involving a battery alternator, and four brakes that went out at the same time, resulted this way. Thank you for all your years of service. Even if no one reads this, God will read it, and the universe will come around and reward those who did so much, for so long, for Schaumburg. I'm sure I'm not the only one who passes by this location, sees it empty, and experiences that hit to the chest that's comparable to losing a family member. I lost my dad. This is almost like losing him all over again. His name was Robert and EVERYONE at the shop loved him. He taught three mechanics how to play guitar. They drove him home one time on their own accord. Years ago when I worked the overnight shift at Dominick's on Schaumburg and Roselle, I would forget to turn off my lights and in the morning find it dead. I can't tell you how many times the mechanics would come to my aid and they always jumped me free of cost. They installed the best quality tires. They took on hundred-fifty-dollar jobs that chain auto shops would try and manipulate a customer into thousand-fifty dollar jobs. They'd do jobs under a hundred dollars, knowing that the big job when we need it would come their way. The picture in the middle was always mounted on the bulletin board behind where the cashier sits. It told the story of how the business was put together. It emphasized their business strategy, their devotion to customers, and to making an auto repair shop more a place of ease, a place to be relied on, a place people always knew had their best interests at heart. They put the customer first every day of their existence. With a tear in my eye, and a pounding in my heart, I'm writing this with utmost sincerity to say thank-you and best wishes, good spirits, and blessings from above...to this amazing business.

JIFFY LUBE'S SYSTEM CAUSED THOUSANDS IN DAMAGE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. Jiffy Lube's flawed system lists an incorrect oil filter as "compatible" with my vehicle, and their refusal to take responsibility has cost me over $4,600 in repairs. THE PROBLEM: Their system wrongly lists an oil filter that is NOT compatible with the 2011 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi, OF2222-MO10060. The correct filter is Mopar MO-899 or one similar in size and function. This incorrect filter was more than half the size of the OEM filter (see photos) and they used it in multiple oil changes, leading to severe oil pressure issues and catastrophic engine damage. The technicians followed their system, but the real failure lies with Jiffy Lube and their inaccurate parts database. HOW JIFFY LUBE HANDLED IT: Refused to acknowledge their mistake, even when I provided proof from a certified mechanic who confirmed the incorrect filter caused my engine issues (damaged lifters, camshaft, oil pressure switch, starter and 100% blocked oil screen from blown filter paper remnants requiring five oil flushes to clear). Ignored clear evidence proving the damage was caused by their system's error. Denied my claim completely, leaving me with thousands in repair bills due to THEIR negligence. DO NOT TRUST JIFFY LUBE! If they can't even get something as basic as an oil filter right, why would you trust them with your vehicle? Their refusal to take accountability proves that they don't care about their customers--only profits. SPREAD THE WORD! I'm warning everyone: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I'll be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, and consumer protection agencies until Jiffy Lube is held accountable for their reckless negligence. UPDATE Jiffy Lube customer service already opened a claim and Andrey Tuur ( the District Manager) contacted me just because that is the official process. He then ghosted me and ignored multiple follow up emails asking for status. I had to call back to Jiffy Lube customer service to be told that my claim was denied. I sent him a text after the fact asking for the denial in writing and still no response. I believe this response now from the "owner" is just a formality and an attempt to appear compassionate. I need actionable, monetary reimbursement results to make this situation right.

Even though I live nearly an hour away, I still will go to them for all my auto repair needs (except oil changes, but even then if I can make it happen I'll go to Car One). There is almost no company or business I can think of that is better at customer service. If I was to right a dissertation on a PHD for "What makes a small business great" it would be about these guys. 1. They never lie to me. I trust them so much that I literally tell them "yes" to anything they say needs to be done to my car. This is due to them building up trust with me over the years to where I don't need to think about if they are trying to rip me off or not. They can see this review, so next time they see me, they COULD rip me off but I know they won't. 2. The customer service skills - they always seem to remember who I am the moment I say my name, even if I have not talked to them in over a year. Now, look at the attached picture. They literally filled out my mail-in-rebate for the tires I got from them. They even included the stamp!! They didn't have to do it, but they offered it without me asking and took care of it for me. 3. Loyalty. Read the other reviews on here. There is one guy who says he drives from Des Moines, IA because he refuses to go anywhere else. That's what it means to be loyal to a business. In Summary - there's no one better out there to work on your car. If you don't go here, it's your loss.
