Poor management when questioned. I had an issue about whether 800 gallons was actually delivered to my home. I have a 1,000 gallon propane tank -- when I got to about 150 to 175 gallons, I called for a refill. When I received the refill, they refilled to 800 gallons (which is typical -- 80% total). They gave me a bill for exactly 800 gallons delivered. I questioned the invoice because I knew I called in when there was no less than 150 gallons, which means if I had 150 and they put 800 in that I'd have 950 total. They said they put in 800 and my tank must have been completely at zero and that my gauge must be wrong. I check my gauge every week and know it was not at zero or even close to it. My email was initially ignored, then it was clearly misread when it was responded to and not sent to management. I had to call to get a manager (or I think they connected me to a dispatcher), who tried to placate me to get me off the phone with the understanding he would follow up in a couple of ways, which he never did. When I finally followed up a few weeks later by email, the assistant contacted the the manager (or dispatcher) who told her to pass along that the driver who made the delivery was contacted and said that there were in fact 800 gallons delivered and everything seemed ok at the time of delivery. My emails to Valley Energy and my discussions were clear in that I was not seeking not to pay for gas I did not receive. I was interested in finding out if my gauge was wrong to have it fixed, or to learn if the gas truck that did deliver to my home reported the wrong amount as being delivered (they track all amounts all day) -- I indicated perhaps at the end of the day there may have been an extra 200 gallons on the truck. In any event, they handled it wrong and they lost a customer. I was with them four years and will be no longer. This experience leaves me with a taste of mismanagement, possible dishonesty and siphoned gas in my mouth. I'm not suggesting Valley Energy actually billed for gas they didn't provide to me, but the way they handled this incident, it gives me great pause to consider whether it is just bad customer service. I've lost my faith in them.

We could have gotten a more modern, efficient heating system, which is the option we're pursuing after two months of dealing with poor customer service, bait-and-switch deals, and a general disregard for customer happiness. In the very brief period GES has serviced us, we have been charged for over $1300 worth of oil. Granted, we've had a couple of cold days, but so far this winter has been unseasonably warm. I can't imagine how bad it would have been if winter had behaved normally this year. In addition, service technicians show up unannounced (one scared the hell out of my wife when she found him peering through our kitchen window one morning). I called several times to get a sense of why our oil bill was so ridiculously high. Each time, I was directed to a hold queue for 20 minutes, then automatically redirected to the Emergency Services line, then hung up on. TL;DR DO NOT USE GRIFFITH ENERGY SERVICES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. If you purchase a home with a fuel-oil furnace, save yourself the cost and trouble of dealing with this company and get it replaced with something more efficient.

We made the reservation and showed up with very low expectations. It was a busy Friday afternoon. And we had a great experience from start to finish. The lady working the front desk was very nice and did a good job juggling 3 different customers who all got there about the same time. They ask you to check in using a QR code and your phone. It took a few minutes to complete- like any new automated process the first time you use it. Which explains why the lady was juggling 3 customers at the same time. She did a good job juggling to help all 3 of us and get us in our vehicles. Our van was clean and in good condition. The return was efficient. Because I wanted a receipt before leaving, I ended up dealing with two other employees. Both were pleasant and helpful. Did the QR code routine again to check out and get a receipt. This involved entering the odometer miles, the gas tank level, and taking I lost count but I think it was 6 pictures of the vehicle. Took a few minutes. But the peace of mind in having a final receipt was worth it. Just wanted to share a recent, positive experience.

They said they can deal with the warranty company and it's not an issue. After nearly 4 weeks, it's ready to be picked up. Despite my warranty they ant me to pay extra money that the warranty company won't pay them for their markup. I did not agree to this nor was I informed of this prior to the repairs being done. The service manager didn't seem to care either way and was very dismissive when I questioned their business ethics. I was told prior to dropping it off, by a member of their parts staff, that they didn't do business this way. Apparently they do. I guess if you're in a pinch and don't mind overpaying, use them. Otherwise I'd suggest going elsewhere to a business that honors your warranty and is upfront if they don't. Update: The owner of Holly Acres reached out to me after this review posted. He claims that I should be upset with my warranty company and not him. The warranty company didn't want to pay the labor hours that his technician wanted to do the job. Talk about the tail wagging the dog. Zero concern or regard for your paying customer. Zero regard for a consumer that purchased protection for their purchase. It's clear they are only interested in the money aspect and not taking care of their customer. Second update: Picked my RV up this morning. Very cordial and polite with the staff. The owner, Bill, shows up to confront me. One of the service members must have called him when I arrived. He literally confronts me in an effort to tell me I know nothing and that it's not their fault. He even tried to claim that I approved the additional charges because I signed the work order. When I told him I was asked to sign it AFTER the work was completed so that the extended warranty could be claimed, he insinuated I was lying. He went as far to tell me that I was slandering his company. The fact that he showed up to confront me lets you know exactly why the business is run the way it is. I don't blame the employees, I blame him.

The manager came started off by not listening to me and cutting me off all I was trying to understand all these charges of course had a bunch of questions in the process the service manager said to me I should take my RV somewhere else multiple times. This guy is not a management material he speaks over you never listens and gets aggressive and most importantly costing the company a lot of money. My Geico would have paid this company thousands and the warranty work which I have problems with slides and some other stuff would have added thousands of more in their pockets but yet he sacrificed all that money for his company he works for for diagnostic chump change which at some point I even agreed to pay multiple diagnostics but at some point he mentioned again if we are going back and forth like this I should take my RV somewhere else. First of all what back and forth I was trying to understand the details and at no point I was argumental secondly good job for costing your company thousands of dollars I wonder how many other people end up leaving because of you and your management skills what you don't have
