    Quinoa grain bowl
    Chris B.

A solid spot for quick and healthy hot or cold takeaway. Grabbed the quinoa grain bowl. Very flavorful, fresh and a very reasonable price. They will heat up items for you if you request. Many other options include chicken, beef, tofu or salmon. Clean large space with plenty of drink options as well. No inside seating but very basic tables outside. Bring a jacket if it's cold Will definitely return to try other items.

Healthy & hearty to-go meals delivered. Yum! My favorite meal on their menu is the chicken spinach Cous cous salad with lemon vinaigrette dressing and pine nuts. It's one of my fav lunch meals. Since the pandemic their locations in the FIDI ( including this one) has shut temporarily but they are still delivering food locally after you place an order online. Yum! I love easy quick and healthy meals under $15 . When I was working nearby, I would get unlimited free cookies through the Thanx app. Oh yum!

Nice grab-and-go food place. It was my first time eating at Proper Food, although I've seen a lot of their chain/branches pop up in the San Francisco downtown area lately. The inside is really well renovated, with a modern look, and clean. The staff are all very nice. The area is small, which is ok, because they don't look like they have a kitchen anyways. It's basically a fridge with packaged meals--you just take a container, pay, and leave. Its a similar concept to Byte-foods, except they have an entire store instead of just a vending machine. The food itself tastes great! I got the chicken salad with quinoa, which tasted really really good. Especially the quinoa, which was cooked well and crunchy but not too soft. The cold temperature also made the quinoa and salad taste super fresh. The staff who work there are all very nice. I tried to ask them for a bathroom--they didn't have on in the store, which makes sense. But the staff was helpful enough to give me directions to a nearby restroom, before I even bought anything yet. Overall, a nice place to grab a quick bite for lunch!

Man, their breakfast dish was super delicious! I got the scrambled eggs with the hash brown and millionaires bacon and was extremely satisfied. It was my first time having millionaires bacon and I can't wait to get more. I think I paid a total of $10 for my plate, which I find pretty reasonable. My only feedback is that they could have seasoned their eggs better with more salt, but I'm assuming all of this was made in some big commercial kitchen and delivered to each location. The people behind the counter were friendly and offered to heat up my food!

This salad is essentially cold rice, beans and carne asada. Imagine home cooked food put into the fridge and you don't have time to reheat the leftovers. Seasoning is great but would like to have this as a "heated" option, so I can feel like I am having a proper meal. The lettuce is unnecessary filler.

Pretty hard for them to not be consistent in food quality since it's all prepared offsite. Glad to have another option in the work 'hood.

The servers are so friendly, kind and hardworking. They truly know what exceptional customer service is about. The food was perfectly prepared and the presentation was so appealing, with the little touches of Thai hospitality. My first breakfast was the Meat Lover's Omelet with House Potatoes. Tasty and it really hit the spot. Great coffee too! Dinner consisted of a flavorful beef Mussamun chili dish. Awesomely tender beef in a savory sauce. A Stella Artois worked well for my drink. My second breakfast was a Belgian Waffle with Chicken Apple Sausage and Scrambled Eggs. Perfection, with fruit accents of banana, blueberries, strawberries and grapes. I loved the decor all around the restaurant with adorable cow art and a very clean feel. The servers and hosts were coming over to chat with us and just made us feel so welcome and special. From the second you walk in until the second you leave you are in good hands. It's also right across from the train so it's super easy to get there! I don't normally like horseradish, but the burger came with the perfect amount of horseradish where it tasted very fresh and added a good burst of flavor without being overwhelming! The fries were delicious and crispy. 10 out of 10 food, service, and environment. I would give them more stars if I could.

A charming little bistro inspired by the Marlowe cows, I'm assuming, managed to stun us with several memorable dishes. The warm deviled eggs were an excellent start. Savory yet delicate enough to not weigh us down right at the beginning of our meal. The horseradish aioli wasn't for me, but I can see its appeal for a certain audience. You give me a Calabrian chili sauce and it's guaranteed to make me happy and this shrimp with sweet corn was no exception. Again, light but a punchy flavor that was enjoyable. I could go on and on about the different dishes we tried but the real standout of the night was the pork tenderloin with chorizo and peaches. The sweetness from the peaches somehow managed to enhance the flavor of the chorizo. This dish gives you a bold, savory and sweet bite all together but still won't have you feeling super heavy. The portion size is perfect. Im hoping to return soon for another exquisite meal.

Went for a light dinner after having had much to eat during the day. I would describe it as a comfortable, modern diner with efficient and attentive service and a crowd pleaser menu. Everything that we tried was very good but, I would say that none of it was outstanding. The caprese and the shimp tacos were light and tasty. Thought the caprese was the better choice of the two. The french onion soup was satifying with appropriate viscosity. My mom and my kids loved the penne alla vodka. Went back the next morning for a latte for my lady and she liked that as well. All in all, this is a great place to eat comfortably and satisfy a group of people with varying palates and preferences.

This time, we came on a weekday around 1:30 PM and waited about 30 minutes. Fair warning: expect a wait regardless! There are no online or app reservations--you'll need to show up in person and have the host add you to the waitlist. Based on our two visits, coming on a weekday and later in the day seems much more manageable. Both of us ordered The Plow with the house-made pork sausage, which comes with eggs, Plow potatoes, and lemon ricotta pancakes. Such a satisfying meal! The house-made pork sausage patties were juicy and packed with flavor. The Plow potatoes tasted fresh and were crispy, crunchy, and rustic. The lemon ricotta pancakes were a great way to finish the meal--after all the savory flavors from the eggs, potatoes, and sausage, the pancakes with maple syrup were the perfect sweet ending. We also both got the cold brew with oat milk. Strong and really good--exactly how we like our cold brew! Service: Great! Everyone was friendly and attentive, and they checked in on us frequently even though the restaurant was busy. Ambiance: Plow is a relatively small restaurant, but it still feels clean, spacious, and bright. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. The bathroom was also very clean, but just a heads-up that there's only one restroom for the entire restaurant, so you may have to wait. Overall, 5/5! We've enjoyed Plow both times we've visited. The wait can definitely be long, but the food and service make it worth it. Come hungry, plan for a wait, and get The Plow with the house-made pork sausage!

The host, the waiter they were totally awesome! The food was exactly what I expected. We ended up getting the plow and French toast. They were both great! Delicious, if I had to pick one it will still be the plow. The home made pork sausage along with a two small lemon pancakes were not just a surprise but just amazing! Those pancakes are small and they do pack a punch! The lemon flavor is just delicious ur not over powering. As soon as the first bite of pancake is near ur mouth you can smell the aroma of lemon and when it hits your palate you get this citrus flavor that hits your palate just right mixed with the pancake syrup totally delicious. Overall I loved it! Perfect for a brunch day, just be prepared to wait and don't arrive too hungry cause you will wait for a n hour or two as we did. :)
