Great brunch!! It's not a big space but they accommodated our group of 7 pretty easily. We didn't have a reservation on a Monday, but seems like a good idea if you're going on a weekend. I loved my chorizo and friends omelet dish. The fried potatoes were lightly breaded and probably the best I've ever had! Would definitely recommend

Everything... and I mean EVERYTHING hit at this brunch spot. This restaurant was walking distance from the hotel me and friends were staying at, so we decided to check it out. We were lucky to be seated right away with no reservations (outdoor seating). Soon after there was a line forming down the street. I ordered the Non-Alcoholic XOXO ($9) and Neptune Egg Benny ($33). A Dungeness Crab entree was a must have in SF! Our table also ordered the Voila French Toast Brioche ($22) to share. So impressed with the presentation and the taste! I wish I had more room in my stomach to try more. The inside looked very chic, so I had to go take a peak on my the way to the bathroom. It is a small space, so it can fill up pretty quickly.

Tucked away, Sisterita really is a hidden gem. Despite it being busy & not having any reservations my 2 friends and I were seated quickly. Service was on top of it & the decor inside is so cute! I love it!

Very cute place for brunch! It took a while to get our drinks and food but staff were very friendly. I got the Alcatraz scramble and it was super flavorful and delicious!! I would come back again for celebrations.

Highly recommend reservations as it can get crowded on weekends. Tables are quite close to one another so if you're coming with LOs, there isn't much space for a stroller. A few parking spots in front of the restaurant. Pirate Caribbean Omelette: Pricey, but the crab tastes fresh and overall a solid dish. Potatoes were nice and crispy. Grilled cheese and French onion soup: A bit disappointing depending on your expectations. It's more like a croque madame (less cheese, more ham) and the soup bowl is quite small. French toast brioche: Definitely in the sweet side and better to share as a table. Tasted as expected. Chai latte: Sweet Overall, a solid restaurant, but not worth waiting 30+ min for a table so make sure to make reservations ahead of time.

My partner and I decided to go to the city one weekend and decided we wanted brunch. After looking through some place, we came across Sisterita and it looked very promising. It seems like this place is an asian fusion brunch place incorporating french dishes into thai/asian themed dishes which is up our alley. We made a reservation at 1:45 PM and we had to wait for about an extra 30 minutes before getting seated. Initially, I wanted to try their crab fried rice but unfortunately they were out of crab. We decided to get the Alcatraz Escape and the Brioche french toast which were recommended by the wait staff. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating but I can tell they were swamped and stressed out with all the people they were trying to serve. The food itself tasted decent, the Alcatraz Escape had a tasty flavor which incorporates tom yum paste (sweet, sour, tangy flavor) into their scramble with about 4 shrimps. The side of crispy chicken was good but nothing that stood out to us. The brioche was soft but there wasn't much flavoring besides the fruits and caramelized banana. It was served with evaporated milk which made the brioche soft but not adding much flavor to it. The price however was quite pricey. For two dishes as a side we paid around $78 with tax and tip.

Incredible food. Great pricing and just awesome customer service. We came for brunch on a Wednesday and there was no wait. And I love the vibe of the place. Will definitely be coming back!

Snagged a table right before the lines started. All the dishes we ordered were great! The brioche in particular was so fluffy yet crispy with caramalized bananas and nuts on top! The tom yum scramble (Alcatraz escape) was really good as well. 100% recommend!

Popular brunch spot with good food but extremely slow service. It was already very busy at 9am on a Sunday, so I highly recommend making a reservation or you might be waiting in line for a while. The inside is cute but crowded. We got the French onion soup, Neptune eggs benedict, and the waffle & fried chicken. Everything was delicious, especially the fried chicken which was juicy & crispy. Service was friendly and the servers were good about keeping our water and coffee refilled, but it took a long time for someone to take our order and for the food to come out. It didn't seem to be just us, as the couple next to us also waited about 30mins before anyone came to take their order, even though they told the server they were ready as soon as they sat down. I also didn't like that the tables were extremely close to one another.

The interior was a bit too cramped for me, but it was decorated nicely. The service was great and staff were kind. It did feel like they rushed us out a bit but that's ok they were busy. The food tasted ok they have a lot of original tasting items. The sun of a beach drink was really yummy and had non dairy cream in it which I appreciate. Overall pretty good though on the pricier side for brunch...it is SF though so that's to be expected.

My friend wanted to try Sisterita, so I was happy to oblige coming back since my last experience was too. Service and Staff: - I arrived for my reservation, but my friend was running a couple of minutes late. When I checked in, the hostess said I needed to wait until the whole party was present. I waited a little bit to the side, but still in front of the restaurant. Five minutes later, a group of three people came in and mentioned their fourth was going to be a couple of minutes late. The hostess said that was okay and led them in....Not sure what the difference was, but I found this rude and inconsistent. Food and Drinks: - Supreme Burrito: filling, delicious, and flavorful the spinach tortilla was a nice touch - Royale: filling, delicious, and flavorful. The tobiko added a fun bonus to the dish Miscellaneous: - The restaurant isn't located on the best street. If you serve before your reservation time, would recommend waiting up the hill - Parking is available via street parking at the top or bottom of this street (not on the street the restaurant is on) - Seating is a bit tight, so not good for large groups (four is fine)

Man! (This is an expression! It can be any gender.) Let me start over... Sister! Had a reservation on a weekday at 1 PM, arrived early, but they were still running late with a line out the door. I think we waited 25-30 minutes. Finally got seated, but they didn't take our orders until at least 15 minutes later and then gave us water. One server working hard doing everything from taking orders, bringing food, to greeting people. One busser busy wiping tables, getting water and cleaning up. While photogenic, most of the food seems mediocre, something we can get elsewhere in the City. But then I'm excited for downtown/Chinatown businesses doing well. My husband likes his French Onion Soup with lots of cheese and he ordered a side of bacon which he said helped a lot with the soup. I got their Voila French Toast Brioche with these caramelized bananas on top. Side of fried chicken and scrambled eggs. Super cute aesthetics but tasted okay. Way too sweet for me. Maybe others will like it more. The fried chicken and scrambled eggs tasted okay. This place is super cute, and you can take some insta-worthy photos. Sat tightly between two very interesting parties and inadvertently heard things even tho we weren't trying. Cute place but not particularly to our taste, nice we tried it tho, probably won't be back unless one of our out of town friends really wants to go. 3.5 stars. Located on Commercial and Kearny.

    Can kids dine here?

Yes. I took my kids who are preteen and teen but I saw younger children as well. It is a small space so tables are very close together.

Are reservations required or can you put your name on a list?

We recommend our guests to make a reservation over the phone (415) 6491919 or open table platform. You also more than welcome to walk-in anytime.

Wondering if you serve alcohol and if not, could we bring a bottle of champagne at brunch?

Yes they serve various alcoholic cocktails. You should try their Harry Potter and Bloody Mary (spicy).

    Are they open Christmas?

Yes, we are open. See you :)

Do they have restrooms for customers? Are they clean?

    Yes and Yes

Does the place have brunch cocktails and is brunch served all day?

    Yes

Since it has outdoor seating, are dogs welcome?

    Yes, we love dogs.

Do they take walk ins or are reservations required?

Reservation is only for 6 or more people, otherwise walk ins only.

What are the vegan options at Sisterita? There aren't any on the menu (except a few of the plain sides). I suppose we could ask them to not put goat cheese on the beet salad, or hold the egg on the avocado toast or the fried rice. That's it? Really?

Yes "Really." The Menu says it it all. It is not a Vegan restaurant. It is a fusion French place. French cuisine is definitely not vegan. Even though there are many non-animal dishes in French cooking, most use some animal product for…

I've been trying to call the restaurant to make a reservation and there's no answer. I tried your website, but the site requires a password. How do I make a reservation?

May I have your contact number? I will contact you as soon as possible or you can call the restaurant right now. We are open :)

How do you make a reservation?

You can just call. That's what we did for a party of four.

Do they offer take-out? If yes, where can I order from? Website, third-party, over the phone etc

Any clues on how to contact the restaurant? The website is down, the phone number is "not in service". Has Sisterita gone out of business?

    Are there vegan friendly options?

    Yes, we have Vegan option

Any gluten-free bread, pancakes, hamburger buns, pasta?

Yea we have gluten free options available. Please inform your server. We neither have pasta nor pancakes.

We had allergies and vegetarians for our party, and they accommodated easily. I'm a sucker for places with rotating menus, and would 1000% come here again to try their other foods! I was satisfactorily full, as I felt like the four plates were just a bit larger than tapas size. The mid-August options I'd chosen were - minestrone soup (4/5) - calamari risotto (5/5) - crispy pork schnitzel (3/5) - chamomile panna cotta (5/5) - buttered sourdough (5/5) The minestrone soup had a great creamy base with the mousse on top. Calamari risotto was delicious, creamy, soft rice, and it had a rich seafood flavor. You can tell the chef added plentiful seafood and the calamari was chewy. Crispy pork schnitzel came with a delicious mustard jus, just a little too salty for my liking. Chamomile panna cotta was probably my favorite, creamy with a subtle chamomile flavor that made it a great ending for the meal. The only thing is the timing of the food coming out was a bit slow, as there were intervals of 30 minutes in between courses. Otherwise service was exceptional and always made their rounds refilling our wine and water!

The beef tartare had such a thoughtful presentation, as it was served with Asian pear upon a delicate rice cracker. I also loved the french fries and housemade potato chips that were ordered! The truffled ham and cheese croquettes had a delightful creamy spice to them due to the harissa inside them, it was so savory with a layered flavor to them. I also loved the chicken tsukune, everything was amazing to lay our eyes on and to eat. I think my very minor issue would be that I ordered non-alcoholic beverage packages for my entire party and alcoholic beverages for a few, and I would say that the selection could be a bit more expansive and also elaborate upon what beverages there are to choose from. An inclusive cocktail package would be fantastic. I would recommend this location for anyone looking to host a corporate event nearby Fidi.
