Everything... and I mean EVERYTHING hit at this brunch spot. This restaurant was walking distance from the hotel me and friends were staying at, so we decided to check it out. We were lucky to be seated right away with no reservations (outdoor seating). Soon after there was a line forming down the street. I ordered the Non-Alcoholic XOXO ($9) and Neptune Egg Benny ($33). A Dungeness Crab entree was a must have in SF! Our table also ordered the Voila French Toast Brioche ($22) to share. So impressed with the presentation and the taste! I wish I had more room in my stomach to try more. The inside looked very chic, so I had to go take a peak on my the way to the bathroom. It is a small space, so it can fill up pretty quickly.

Great brunch!! It's not a big space but they accommodated our group of 7 pretty easily. We didn't have a reservation on a Monday, but seems like a good idea if you're going on a weekend. I loved my chorizo and friends omelet dish. The fried potatoes were lightly breaded and probably the best I've ever had! Would definitely recommend

Incredible food. Great pricing and just awesome customer service. We came for brunch on a Wednesday and there was no wait. And I love the vibe of the place. Will definitely be coming back!

Highly recommend reservations as it can get crowded on weekends. Tables are quite close to one another so if you're coming with LOs, there isn't much space for a stroller. A few parking spots in front of the restaurant. Pirate Caribbean Omelette: Pricey, but the crab tastes fresh and overall a solid dish. Potatoes were nice and crispy. Grilled cheese and French onion soup: A bit disappointing depending on your expectations. It's more like a croque madame (less cheese, more ham) and the soup bowl is quite small. French toast brioche: Definitely in the sweet side and better to share as a table. Tasted as expected. Chai latte: Sweet Overall, a solid restaurant, but not worth waiting 30+ min for a table so make sure to make reservations ahead of time.

My partner and I decided to go to the city one weekend and decided we wanted brunch. After looking through some place, we came across Sisterita and it looked very promising. It seems like this place is an asian fusion brunch place incorporating french dishes into thai/asian themed dishes which is up our alley. We made a reservation at 1:45 PM and we had to wait for about an extra 30 minutes before getting seated. Initially, I wanted to try their crab fried rice but unfortunately they were out of crab. We decided to get the Alcatraz Escape and the Brioche french toast which were recommended by the wait staff. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating but I can tell they were swamped and stressed out with all the people they were trying to serve. The food itself tasted decent, the Alcatraz Escape had a tasty flavor which incorporates tom yum paste (sweet, sour, tangy flavor) into their scramble with about 4 shrimps. The side of crispy chicken was good but nothing that stood out to us. The brioche was soft but there wasn't much flavoring besides the fruits and caramelized banana. It was served with evaporated milk which made the brioche soft but not adding much flavor to it. The price however was quite pricey. For two dishes as a side we paid around $78 with tax and tip.

The interior was a bit too cramped for me, but it was decorated nicely. The service was great and staff were kind. It did feel like they rushed us out a bit but that's ok they were busy. The food tasted ok they have a lot of original tasting items. The sun of a beach drink was really yummy and had non dairy cream in it which I appreciate. Overall pretty good though on the pricier side for brunch...it is SF though so that's to be expected.

Snagged a table right before the lines started. All the dishes we ordered were great! The brioche in particular was so fluffy yet crispy with caramalized bananas and nuts on top! The tom yum scramble (Alcatraz escape) was really good as well. 100% recommend!

Wow Sisterita is a hidden gem. Cute ambience, prompt and friendly service. Voilà French Toast Brioche is a must! Can't wait to return to sample more delicious items on the menu.

Popular brunch spot with good food but extremely slow service. It was already very busy at 9am on a Sunday, so I highly recommend making a reservation or you might be waiting in line for a while. The inside is cute but crowded. We got the French onion soup, Neptune eggs benedict, and the waffle & fried chicken. Everything was delicious, especially the fried chicken which was juicy & crispy. Service was friendly and the servers were good about keeping our water and coffee refilled, but it took a long time for someone to take our order and for the food to come out. It didn't seem to be just us, as the couple next to us also waited about 30mins before anyone came to take their order, even though they told the server they were ready as soon as they sat down. I also didn't like that the tables were extremely close to one another.

My friend wanted to try Sisterita, so I was happy to oblige coming back since my last experience was too. Service and Staff: - I arrived for my reservation, but my friend was running a couple of minutes late. When I checked in, the hostess said I needed to wait until the whole party was present. I waited a little bit to the side, but still in front of the restaurant. Five minutes later, a group of three people came in and mentioned their fourth was going to be a couple of minutes late. The hostess said that was okay and led them in....Not sure what the difference was, but I found this rude and inconsistent. Food and Drinks: - Supreme Burrito: filling, delicious, and flavorful the spinach tortilla was a nice touch - Royale: filling, delicious, and flavorful. The tobiko added a fun bonus to the dish Miscellaneous: - The restaurant isn't located on the best street. If you serve before your reservation time, would recommend waiting up the hill - Parking is available via street parking at the top or bottom of this street (not on the street the restaurant is on) - Seating is a bit tight, so not good for large groups (four is fine)

My team took me here to celebrate my birthday. We came at 11 and were seated immediately. The place was so cute and perfect for taking pictures. All of our drinks were delicious! I ordered the New York steak and eggs. I asked for medium rare, but it came out medium, so I had to send it back. The replacement was still not medium rare, but since they already made me another one, I didn't bother sending it back again. My team enjoyed their dishes. Parking is impossible, so don't drive here. There is a parking garage nearby if you do decide to drive. Will definitely come back to try their other items.

A charming little restaurant with a French‑bistro feel and tasty brunch. Reservations are recommended, but they do accept walk‑ins with two separate lines. We didn't have a reservation and still only waited about 10 minutes on a Sunday late morning which was a pleasant surprise.

More of a 3.5 rating. Restaurant itself is very cute but it is overcrowded with the way the tables are set up. We didn't have a reservation but only waited about 15min to be seated on a weekday. What we ordered: Glazed & Blazed - Eggs Benedicts with a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy. The potatoes were also crisped to perfection. Waffle & Fried Chicken - the menu isn't lying when it says "sweet Belgian waffle" because it is definitely on the sweeter side! The fried chicken thigh was golden crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I could had done without the strawberries because it added more to the sweet factor along with the maple syrup. The spicy Mayo for the chicken was a nice factor that balanced the dish out a bit. Voilà French Toast Brioche - definitely a dish to share. It is thick and filling. The citrus butter balanced out all the sweetness. Drinks were sake based and just okay. Also more on the sweeter side. If you like your food on the sweeter side then this is definitely the perfect brunch spot for you. I would go back to try some of their more savory options. Price point average was mid $20 a plate.

    Can kids dine here?

Yes. I took my kids who are preteen and teen but I saw younger children as well. It is a small space so tables are very close together.

Are reservations required or can you put your name on a list?

We recommend our guests to make a reservation over the phone (415) 6491919 or open table platform. You also more than welcome to walk-in anytime.

Wondering if you serve alcohol and if not, could we bring a bottle of champagne at brunch?

Yes they serve various alcoholic cocktails. You should try their Harry Potter and Bloody Mary (spicy).

    Are they open Christmas?

Yes, we are open. See you :)

Do they have restrooms for customers? Are they clean?

    Yes and Yes

Does the place have brunch cocktails and is brunch served all day?

    Yes

Since it has outdoor seating, are dogs welcome?

    Yes, we love dogs.

Do they take walk ins or are reservations required?

Reservation is only for 6 or more people, otherwise walk ins only.

What are the vegan options at Sisterita? There aren't any on the menu (except a few of the plain sides). I suppose we could ask them to not put goat cheese on the beet salad, or hold the egg on the avocado toast or the fried rice. That's it? Really?

Yes "Really." The Menu says it it all. It is not a Vegan restaurant. It is a fusion French place. French cuisine is definitely not vegan. Even though there are many non-animal dishes in French cooking, most use some animal product for… Read more

I've been trying to call the restaurant to make a reservation and there's no answer. I tried your website, but the site requires a password. How do I make a reservation?

May I have your contact number? I will contact you as soon as possible or you can call the restaurant right now. We are open :)

How do you make a reservation?

You can just call. That's what we did for a party of four.

Do they offer take-out? If yes, where can I order from? Website, third-party, over the phone etc

Any clues on how to contact the restaurant? The website is down, the phone number is "not in service". Has Sisterita gone out of business?

    Are there vegan friendly options?

    Yes, we have Vegan option

Any gluten-free bread, pancakes, hamburger buns, pasta?

We spent the hours exploring the area nearby, so the "wait" went by relatively fast. When we were finally seated, the service was very prompt and fast. We started off with fried oyster mushrooms. The taste was very addicting and you always end up craving for another piece the moment you finish one. We ordered three dishes including duck breast red curry, steak fried rice (apparently the rice was also cooked in beef fat), and noodle with fried chicken. My favorite was easily the steak fried rice. In terms of all the rice dishes I've had, this was by far one of the top rice dishes I've had. I single handedly ate almost half of it myself. Extremely savory and cooked very well. For dessert, we got their famous butter kaya toast with coconut ice cream. I was already super full from the food earlier, barely had enough room for dessert, but had to force myself to take one final bite before I died in food coma. The dessert was also very tasty, but for me it was the fried rice that stole the show for that night. Overall the wait time here is horrendous, but if you are able to find something to do during the long wait period and is okay with getting a late dinner, then this place is definitely worth it. I don't think I've ever had a Thai restaurant with such unique flavor profile as this one. That being said, if you do mind the wait, then this place is not for you since the waitlist is always inevitably very long. Parking here is also terrible, so street parking is your best bet.

But on this 6th or 7th visit, we decided to take a chance to see if we can get in. We arrived at 4:15 PM on a week night and were told a 12 minute wait. Don't believe them. The restaurant was completely filled when we arrived. The 3 of us were finally seated in a table really meant for 2 about an hour later. Service to take your order was a tad slow. But they were quicker to give you your bill at the end so they can seat the 3O+ folks in the wait list after us. No one checks on you after all your food has arrived We ordered 4 dishes including one of their limited entrees , the soft shell crab. It was good. The duck breast in curry sauce was good too. Hubby especially enjoyed the short rib over rice which is one of his fav dishes there although the meat was under seasoned but tender. We always order the fried papaya salad. Unlike in the past, the dish today was clumpy with areas inside softer and not completely crispy. We were very full and skipped the sole dessert, Kaya toast with ice cream, but have tried it many times before. Good meal, virtually no service to check on you when they are you crowded and busy. Food wasn't as consistent than during less busy days but acceptable.

I only knocked the restaurant down by a star because the servers were pretty pushy with wanting us to leave despite the multitude of empty tables around us. Besides that, the food is really delicious. The papaya salad is amazing if you like spice! There was a great kick and acidity to the papaya salad distributed throughout the fresh vegetables in the dish. I highly recommend! The pumpkin fries were also a great choice: crispy fry with soft pumpkin inside, maintaining the overall pumpkin flavor profile. The sauce they provide on the side (sweet and sour plum sauce), cut through the fry but didn't overwhelm the pumpkin itself. For myself, I got the yellow curry with chicken. The curry dishes do not come with rice, so you will have to order that on the side. The curry is not only a generous portion, but FULL of ingredients. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

Cozy ambience that's great for meetups and long hangouts to chat and catch up. The staff was very…read morekind and the service was decently fast. The interior is well decorated with Thai culture and with the darker tones of the design, it makes the restaurant feel quite fancy. 4.5/5 - Crispy Pork (Moo Krop) Fried Rice - Very savory fried rice dish. Spiced well and very filling. We didn't expect the pork to be cut so large and mixed into the rice, but it was very tender and easy to still eat. We would've expected the pork to be sliced maybe in half or fourths to make the dish feel like a "pork fried rice" than a fried rice + pork mix, but it still worked well and if you love pork, this will definitely be your fix! 5/5 - Pad Thai - We thought the restaurant nailed this classic noodle dish. Filling portions and did not overcook their noodles. You can taste each component of the dish, which speaks to everything not being under or overcooked. We ordered nuts on the side but you would be quite satisfied ordering this if you like pad thai! 4.5/5 - Pad Gra Prow - Appropriate veggie to beef proportion and very flavorful. Minced well and great to complement with your carb dishes (noodle or rice). We thought the dish was slightly oily but it feels well absorbed when eaten with our pad thai. If you have tried the dish before and would like it, this will be satisfactory!

Appetizers- Shrimp Spring Roll: it was pretty good actually. The stand out for me was the peanut sauce. Absolutely delicious. Overall, 8/10. Entrees: got the crab fried rice to share. The flavor was really good. It didn't have too many of the crab pieces though. I would give it a solid 7/10. Also ordered the green curry with roasted duck, which comes with a side of jasmine rice. The curry was good and the duck was tender. I'd give it a 8/10. I would come back here to try other items on their menu. TBH very reasonable pricing and good value since the portions were generous.
