Since my first review never posted..... Do NOT use this company. If I could give negative stars I do would. Kevin was extremely unprofessional. Wasted my time fr 2 days by not showing up to appointments and rescheduling but STILL not showing up. He offered to do the service for $40 but also asked me to make him lunch and give him a great review.... When I told him I wasn't cooking for him and that it was inappropriate to ask me that he said "close mouths don't get fed and I'm doing a job for you" to which I said "yes and I'm paying you for the job. I'm sure you can stop somewhere to get lunch with what your company pays you." He then said that they don't pay him much and he makes only $5 off a service. Who does that? When he finally showed up he wanted to change the quote to $160 and he showed up unprepared AND late. Stating he didn't know my car was push to start after I told him FOUR TIMES on the phone when scheduling. Caused me to lose a client for an appointment I had which made me lose over $200 because he couldn't be professional and be on time for 3 days. On top of that, he showed up and took pictures of my information such as ID and Registration, plugged his computer to my car (my car wouldn't start after) but then got in his car and left without even fixing my issue or giving me a single explanation. He claimed he left because I was being rude but at that point I was clearly upset and I didn't wanna make conversation with the the kid. I just wanted my key fixed. He then asked about my finances such as how much I pay for my car to which I responded that that was neither here nor there and it was unprofessional to ask about my finances. He got upset and got in his car and sped off. I called and texted him to come fix what he did and he completely ignored me. I had to call Pd because at this point I thought he was a fraud. He was just an unprofessional emotional child. I called to file a complaint and nobody has called me back even after being told my complaint would be escalated to upper management. Save your time and money and go to actual professionals. Kevin will literally waste your time and leave when you tell him how he's affected your time and money. 3 whole days of waiting and rescheduling. What a joke of a company and employee. Called to request for opening our car door after leaving the carkey in the trunk. When we asked for an estimate on the phone they said that they need to see the car first and then will provide an estimate. When the guy from proquick came, he looked at the car and gave us an estimate of 280 dollars which we believed was unreasonably expensive. We were also on the phone with another locksmith who was offering way less for their services. After informing proquick that the price was too expensive, the guy started yelling at us asking for 69 dollars for making him come there and was yelling racial slurs at us saying "f***in asians" and saying "do you not understand English?". He kept telling us to give the phone number of the other locksmith we were talking to and refused to leave. We did not feel safe. We advise avoiding this locksmith. Well let's add Elder Abuse to your Yelp reviews. On 12/23 my 87 year father called for assistance on a door lock and was charge over $500 for a $100 job. The locks that were used were the cheapest you could acquire at Home Depot and the time spent was less than 30 minutes. Not to mention that the locks didn't match. Horrendous! We are still trying to figure out why he was charged $250 for what looks like lower locks which only one was changed. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. My Husband called this company because the storage key was lost. The guy was there in 5 min and spent another 5 drilling out the lock. He charged my Husband $275. I called the company 5 times suggesting that $100 was enough and was promised each time that someone would call and discount this. I begged them to help us, that was our food money. **SCAM** Replaced deadbolt locks and TOOK THEM! Wouldn't accept credit card ONLY cash then charged $10 for using a credit card. I called them to resolve this before my review. AJ said "normally we just take them from the customer and recycle them." I reminded him this was a BRAND NEW HOUSE and those were BRAND NEW LOCKS (our personal property) I asked for a refund then he stated they might not have recycled them yet. Of course because he didn't want to pay us back for it. All in all, spent $200 and they took $400 worth of deadbolt locks. Update; AJ was able to locate the locks he took before they were "recycled." These people are straight out thieves! I got locked out of my apartment and I called these guys to see how much they would charge to open up the door in my apartment, the first guy says it starts at 89 dollars, so I think what the heck let's do it, thinking it wouldn't be more than 150 for their services since the door lock should be simple enough for them to open. Another guy calls me up to make sure the address is was right and he says he will be there in 45 minutes, so me and my wife are waiting and waiting, an hour rolls by and he calls telling me oh I'm a little behind I should be there in 10, so I'm like ok that's fine. The guy shows up an hour and a 15 mins later and we walk up to my apartment, the guys is there less than ten minutes and hands me the bill, the charge is for 438 dollars!!!so I ask why is this so much? He tells me there was a 249 dollar charge just for emergency!! I'm like what does this mean? He tells me it's cause it's after 6. Why didn't the other guy tell me there was an extra 249 dollar charge? I was locked out of my home because I forgot the key. I called another locksmith, Advanced in Fullerton, he took over an hour to get to my house and could not pick the lock. I called Proquick, they were out to my home quickly, Idan was nice, professional and opened the lock in about 5 minutes. The service was good. The only reason I give a low rating is the price. Most charge $150-$185. Their charge was $350 which was very high. I recommend asking for the rate up front and confirm the rate when they get to your home. read more

**** BUYER BEWARE **** Please, just stop right here and find a different locksmith unless you want to be royalty ripped off and have you car damaged. Also beware of Mike LockSmith 24/7 - (818) 518-3347 who my nephew originally called and they subcontracted the call out to Prosmith Locksmith. Proquick Locksmith showed up to help my nephew who locked his keys in a Honda Accord. Idan, the owner, had difficulty opening the vehicle and seemed to be very inexperienced. It took him over an hour and eventually he opened the trunk and my nephew had to crawl from the trunk into the front of the vehicle to obtain the car keys. When all was said and done, later that day my nephew tells me Idan charged him $260. I was SHOCKED, that price is outrageous! $260 to unlock a car and he couldn't even do it properly & had my nephew crawling through the trunk? Mind you, my nephew is a young adult and this was his first experience locking his keys in a car so he didn't know any better and paid the price. I contacted Idan immediately to figure out what services he provided to justify charging $260 besides just opening the trunk. From the get go he was rude, sarcastic, extremely unprofessional and lacked any customer service skills. He could not answer my questions or complaints, so I asked for his supervisor to which he responded, "I don't know it my supervisor wants to talk to you, I have to ask him first." Excuse me? Isn't this a business? Who handles the questions and complaints if you're unable to? Whatever - so he called me back & tells me his boss "doesn't know what to tell me because those are just the prices and its a weekend so they're most expensive" and then hangs on me. I called him back and he continued to hang up on me when I was asking questions and looking for the correct person to speak with. I come to yelp and low and behold look who is listed as the owner... IDAN! So who did he supposedly call? No one? Fricken pathetic! He continues to refuse to answer my questions and continues to hang up on me because he knew he took advantage of my nephew and takes advantage of customers DAILY who are in a vulnerable situation! I told Idan I would be sharing my experience through reviews online to prevent others from the mess that we endured from him and his business and he laughed and said "do what you gotta do." I am so disappointed in my experience with them. One of their techs Eran come out to unlock my car 2/8/23. He couldn't open my car correctly and ended up forcing my car door open. Yanking it open I heard a click/pop that obviously something was wrong. He was very unprofessional blaring loud music and had a girl with him in his car. This was at night and I wasn't able to inspect the car after. The next morning I see a huge gap left between my window and door frame. He came out (a week later) trying to drive my door back but there is still damage. Rain coming in, and it sounds like my car window is down even when it's not. I have tried and tried and tried to just ask for a refund. But customer service seems like a scam. Im getting an estimate on damages and will continue to call them for them to either give me a refund or pay for damages. Company ended up charging $150 regardless of entrance & charged a $30 service fee. I have no problem with service fees, I would've just liked to know the pricing upfront so I could've called around & possibly found a cheaper service. Cost a total of $180 to unlock a front door. Will definitely not do business with this company again. TOTAL SCAM!!! If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Idan and Allan scammed us out of $550. We employed them for the purchase, installation, and programming of a wifi-enabled smart lock and were promised these services. They also promised us a discount if we agreed to have the service done within the next 24 hours. Needless to say, no discount was ever given. We agreed, and they proceeded to install a bluetooth smart lock (NOT wifi enabled), did not program it, and then proceeded to ghost our calls when we tried to come to a resolution. It is exceedingly obvious to me that they took our money and installed whatever random lock they had on hand. They also did not install it correctly and completely butchered our wooden door when removing the strike plate. When we asked them to rectify the problems THEY created, they asked us to pay another $100. When I confronted them about their lowlife scummy thievish ways and notified them that I'd be disputing the charge if I didn't hear back, all Allan had to say was "good luck." The locksmith came in a timely manner and fixed the lock. It was a late call around 10pm. He took about 2 hours to complete. He charged $700. 4 days later the lock completely fell out. I tried to call the phone number listed and it's no longer in service. I had to call another locksmith out to fix this bad work and it cost another $350. Do not trust this person.
