This is a great option for food if you're visiting the Capilano Suspension Bridge. There are indoor and outdoor seating options, but if it's nice outside, you should definitely opt for outdoors so you can really take in the natural surroundings. It was not crowded when we visited on a weekday afternoon, and given that there was not a full house, the service surprisingly slow. It took a while to order and I could not get a water refilled until I grabbed a wait staff an hour later. However, the food was also surprisingly good. There were a lot of options to choose from, including kids meals. We got the Steelhead fish, House burger and the standard kids meals. All of the food was delicious and plated well. Given that you're inside the park, it's not overly pricey, but probably the best choice available.
The Cliff House was exactly what we needed for a light lunch after exploring Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. It's nicer than the other dining options in the park and has several options perfect for vegetarians. We were seated almost immediately upon arrival in the inside dining room. (Outside seating next to the park is available too. Service was fast and friendly. My wife and I shared the Quinoa Salad with the salmon on the side (She eats fish and I'm a vegetarian.) For what it was, it was fresh and plentiful. I'd say for a salad that had "quinoa" as the first word in the name, there wasn't a whole lot of quinoa in it...it was more of a light addition to the main greens and arugula base. I would have liked the quinoa to have a more more significant presence. Despite that it tasted good and my wife enjoyed the salmon. There are a few other vegetarian options on the menu including a Blistered Brussels Sprouts salad, an option to have their "Butter Chicken" dish with paneer instead of chicken, a house made black bean and corn patty for their burger, and a rice bowl. All are helpfully labeled on the menu (plus gluten free options) so you know right away if you have one of those diets that you are not a second class citizen. If you're looking for a nicer, sit-down dining experience while visiting Capilano Suspension Bridge, you won't go wrong here.
Stopped in for lunch while visiting the Capilano Suspension Bridges. They had gluten free options and vegetarian options, unlike the quick service spots. I ordered the salmon. My daughter had a veggie burger. I was impressed with the quality for a tourist attraction. Even though it was sit down, we were in and out within 20 minutes!
I am sure if we had a warm weather we would have sat outside and enjoyed the amazing view but it was cold. So we sat inside and I am glad we did as it was warm. The restaurant is very humble from inside. So as we sat down my mom wanted to use the bathroom. So here we go we put the jackets again as the bathrooms are outside. They were so nice as the workers let us go from the side door and I left all my stuff on the seats. Came back and we did the order. I got the burger in gluten free bun and got the salad instead of the fries. My mom got the salmon. The food came out pretty fast so I was kinda worried of the quality to be honest. My gluten free bread was bad with green stuff growing on it lol. I let the manager know and he apologised and took it back. They made me new one right away. He insisted of taking it off the check as I was refusing but he did take it off. My mom who is more picky than me finished all of her plate so yes it's this good. My burger was so so so good that I would have ordered another one if u can eat it. So yes next time I will be heading there right away for food. Then we ordered the lava cake and it's delicious . A beautiful restaurant in a gorgeous location. Our waitress was attentive and efficient. My meal was super delicious, I was actually surprised at the quality of it.
I was a little hesitant eating at the park as sometimes food can be overpriced inside a park... but boy was I wrong. The seafood chowder was soooo delicious and really hit the spot on a rainy day. The fish and chips were also very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The fries were really thick and delicious. The only downside is that they don't have a restroom inside the restaurant and you have to walk outside. It was only a problem for us because it was raining
The staff were all very helpful and polite. Our food was served just right on time and it was delicious.
An atmospheric river crept in while my friend and I were visiting the park driving us to seek shelter from the rain and wind. We found ourselves unexpectedly at The Cliff House and was instantly charmed with the pleasant fire. The servers were just as bright as the restaurant - they were cheery and pleasant frequently checking in on us though at one point they disappeared for about thirty minutes. I am not sure what happened there. Since we were there to relax I wasn't bothered but it was interesting everyone had left except for one bartender. The majority of the drinks were incredible. The Empress Delight and the Coco Rita were my two favorites. By the descriptions I was expecting something super sweet but instead I found very balanced drinks that were refreshing and delicious. Each cocktail is served as a double so keep that in mind because more traditional cocktails came across super boozy and was a bit much! But the specialty cocktails on their menu was excellent. I would highly recommend stopping over here.
The Cliff House probably one of the best restaurants in the area, offers a great view of scenery whether it's inside or outside. I ordered the Seafood Clamcowder and waited less than 5 minutes for the food. The food was very great, probably the best Clamcowder I've had so far.
Wow! I honestly was not expecting this caliber of food here. Anytime I've been to some sort of "amusement park" the food there is TERRIBLE. But that was not the case here! Service was kinda slow. And waters we never refilled. But the food was so good that made up for it. I got the burger and my husband got the Short ribs. His ribs had no bone. It was basically like a thin cut brisket? But the taste was superb. And the meat was SO tender! Wow. My burger was awesome. The meat and everything was melt in your mouth. And the French fries were one of my favorites. Crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Is it weird this was one of the better meals we had in Vancouver!? Haha. Again COMPLETELY unexpected! Oh! We got mulled wine too! My husband and I split one. It was great! Not the best I've EVER had, but definitely something I'd recommend to someone trying to warm up from outside. Very tasty!

Local breweries. We also had a burger and fries. I liked the fries better then the burger. I would like it better if you could order your burger rare for sure. But you are not allowed to order it unless it is well done.... Just ok.

When we sat down and ordered, it probably took about 40+ minutes for our food to be served, with no staff checking in with us at any point on their own. It was incredibly difficult to flag someone down to ask about our order too. When we did ask someone about it, they went to check and never followed up with us. After we ate and we wanted to pay, it similarly took a ridiculously long period of time for us to get the check, and then an additional wait to actually pay with our credit card. Now onto the food - the food overall was OK and slightly above average, but it wasn't good enough for me to overlook the bad service from the day. + Chowder: The chowder was pretty standard. It was well made and well seasoned, had a good consistency, and was a solid standard entree. + Burger with fries: The burger was pretty juicy and flavorful. The fries were very well made and incredibly crispy - yum! This was probably my favorite thing I tasted here. + Maple glazed salmon: A bit disappointed with this one -I was expecting a lot more here. The portion was pretty small and the salmon wasn't cooked as well as it could've been. It was a bit on the dry side and seemed overcooked. The vegetables underneath were pretty good, but I wish there was more of it. The price was a bit on the higher side, but not outrageous considering its location in the park. Overall, the food was decent but the service was too slow - if that issue is fixed I would gladly visit again.

The Cliff House is nestled inside the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. We visited this park at the perfect time as the entire park was decorated with a Valentines Day theme of canyon lights throughout the park. After braving the cliff walk, the Cliff House was a perfect way to end my time at Capilano. We were a bit skeptical about attraction food, but this restaurant is exceptionally better than anything you would get at any theme park, except of course downtown Disney. We had a Caesar salad, chicken wings, and a house burger to share exactly what we needed after an extremely cold walk through the canyon. Our server was attentive, and the cabin style ambience was a nice touch, but overall was a bit pricey for this type of establishment, but the time we had on the canyon was memorable and 100% worth it. 3.5 stars for restaurant and 5.0 stars for the canyon experience. read more

The truffle fries were excellent! Such a wonderful place to stop and relax while enjoying the tree tops. Aimee was a phenomenal server! We loved the burgers and my husband enjoyed the flight of Canadian beers! read more

Nothing terrible regarding the food or service, but the food is severely overpriced for its taste and quality. Usually that is to be expected for restaurants in attraction sites, but even those in Grouse Mountain were more reasonably priced. Pleasant outdoor seating when the weather is nice at least. ----- Cliff House Beef Burger: 7 oz beef patty, double smoked bacon, aged cheddar, caramelized onions, chipotle BBQ sauce, and rustic fries ($25). The burger had a decent amount of toppings, but parts of the beef patty were burnt. Fries were fresh and crispy. ----- Ale Battered Fish & Chips: pacific cod, bridge brewing ale batter, house slaw, rustic fries, lemon tartar sauce ($25). Everything tasted fine, but for the same price as a burger I'd expect more than just two skinny fish sticks. ----- read more

Inside Capelano park this adorable cafe has amazing food and beautiful views. We sat outside and our server Arshpreet was super accommodating. We had a nice chat with the manager who was also terrific. Highly recommend this for brunch or just homemade donuts and coffee. read more

After an underwhelming trek through this overpriced boardwalk above the trees (btw, this is all free and open to the public in Lynn Valley headwaters - minus the million tourists). This restaurant was a godsend. I had the fish tacos, and although they were a tad messy, they were really really good. Fries done up nice and crispy, just how I love them. Lots of great items on the menu but too bad it's inside the park. read more

Hidden gem behind the trading post inside the Capilano Suspension Bridge park. A bit pricey, but worth it for the quality of food. Everything was delicious! Beer flight was local crafts and all taste good from whistler mountain and other local areas. My favorites was the Widowmaker IPA. The fish tacos were perfected with the right amount of fries batter and a hint of flavor with it. The fish was soft and tender in the inside. French fries are cooked to a golden crisp and plenty to eat. The dry rub ribs were a bit small but really good and tender. The wifey's Tanaki seafood was good. Kid's chicken tenders were on point for the toddlers. The service was great by Claudia. She did an awesome job being attentive to our needs. I'd definitely come back especially with the view on the outside by the cliffs. read more
After hiking across a bunch of terrifying bridges at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, I was rewarded with wine and some light snacks. We arrived just before the lunch crowd and were one of 2 other tables. Our server was super sweet and attentive, and she quickly took our orders. We opted for beer and wine flights, some crab cakes, and truffle fries to share. Was only a little bit bummed that they were out of one of the wines listed, but our server made another selection for me. She also quickly switched that out when I chose a different replacement. The crab cakes were delicious! They came with a green pea puree and roasted pepper puree that really just made these cakes stand out. The truffle fries were decent as well, but the garlic aioli really popped. They paired nicely with the wines I selected. After eating our snacks and drinking our flights, we opted to enjoy the sunshine just a little while longer and have another beverage each before exiting the park. Good service, clean location and great food. I would have given them a 5 but the prices were crazy high! Like, $9 for an order of fries, and a burger with bacon and fries was $25??? Too high imo. It was a little rainy in the morning when I visited but the park already had some families , couples and singles exploring every corner of the park. I suddenly craved for fish n' chip because it reminded me of woods in Scotland. Fried fishes came in in 2 buttered sticks. It looked funny at first yet the meat was juicy and so fresh. I was loving it. Chips were super fresh and I couldn't complain. It was Monday so there were only 3 tables occupied. However, I absolutely enjoyed the solitary and the view by the window. read more

If you like to eat a lot of potatoes this can be a good place to accumulate carbon hydrate before your hiking in the nearby trails. read more

We spent the better part of the morning into early afternoon visiting the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Some where I read to allow for 2 1/2 hours in the park, which we over did. So it was time for a snack. We sat close to the fireplace to warm up. I shared the Lamb Burger Special, which was really good. It was on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, feta cheese & Balsamic vinegar (really good) side of amazing seasoned crisp fries and soft on the inside. The ketchup tasted homemade but not sure if it was. I think we timed our snack just right, after the lunch crowd. read more

Great ambience and nice outdoor sitting area. Friendly staff and good menu selection for lunch. Our waitress gave us complimentary chowders because it took a long time for us to get our orders! read more
