I normally do not like writing reviews but I am writing this for my mother-in-law who has been his customer for over five years. We had an alarm system installed at her house. They did a great job and never had any problems with the system until a few weeks ago with style entry key pad. I called the office and spoke to the owner of the company. He was very pleasant and promised to schedule a visit to install a new battery or replace the key entry pane free of charge. A nice gentleman, I thought. Well, weeks passed and we never heard back from him so I called the office. I must have interrupted him at a bad time because he was obnoxiously rude and impatient. His demeanor was completely different from when I spoke with him last. It was crystal clear he didn't want to be bothered therefore I disconnected the call and thought it was my error for calling him in the evening. After, Idouble checked his website and his company hours are from 8am to 8pm including Saturdays. I honestly called with the open hour timeframe and should not have been treated this way. For years, Mother was a loyal customer and paid him promptly for security monitoring services. We are upset so we ar moving on to another company with better rates. I wish companies would provide support and care to their long term loyal paying customers, instead of concentrating all time on just gaining new customers. He was a very nice guy when he sold us the camera and service so I added a star for this. Go fig! We were a new customer then . A forgotten aged loyal customer. read more

Protection Now is our security alarm monitoring company now for 3 years. I choice Protection Now because they are a local business and didn't make me feel like they were going to exploit our personal information like the national advertised companies would. We learned about Protection Now from a couple local businesses. They are a family owned business who provides excellent personal service for there clients. Eyal goes up and beyond to protect his customers from unnecessary costs both prior to installation and with on going monitoring. Eyal always checks in with us if there is an alarm to make sure all is well. The central station personal have always been very compassionate and professional. Protection Now has been my security company for almost two years. They have installed additional centrally monitored smoke alarms and heat detectors in my home, replaced two outdoor security cameras with much higher quality ones and added a new network video recorder and computer screen. They have also provided monitoring services for burglar and smoke alarms. Eyal, the owner, is very responsive and professional and his technical team has consistently done excellent work on installation and repairs. Eyal Kaufman was a real pleasure to work with. We have solicited bids from 3 other companies and Protection Now gave us a great rate and delivered the project in a timely manner. They've installed video cameras all around our building. They run the wires in our dropped ceiling. They worked fast early mornings so as not to disturb our preschool while in session. Their work was aesthetically pleasing and they've cleaned after themselves. It is now 6 months later and the cameras and monitoring equipment they've recommended is working really well for us. I have never written a compliment of a service where I endorsed them without reservation as I do for alarm service, Protection Now, of Oakland, CA. I've used their service for several decades. Every time I called them, they responded right away. Every worker they sent were very competent and friendly. I have several home/facilities to protect and every equipment they placed has been excellent. There's several big time alarm services around, but I would never consider them. I received very prompt and attention from the owner personally. Although the system is very easy to use, it was very reassuring to know that my caregivers have been properly trained on its use. I searched for a local competitive alarm company and found Protection Now, their security package was the best I found, they installed my home alarm the same day.
