I stopped by Protein House for a pick-me-up protein shake. My new current obsession is the PB & J protein shake. I've never had a shake so close in flavor to a PB & J and the shake texture is so fluffy. There is no obvious taste of protein powder and the strawberries aren't overshadowed by the peanut butter :) Very good! I would visit again to try their impossible burger, wraps, and other protein shakes. Their menu has some good options for a quick clean lunch. I don't understand the negative reviews about the food lacking flavor/salt... I'm guessing they might be used to more salt in their food? For me who consistently eats a low sodium/ low sugar and whole foods diet, the food at Protein House is great!! As for the price, try living in CA where the protein shakes are $14-$16 and not a reasonable $9 haha. read more

I can't even give 1 star. This location on numerous occasions has messed my order up. Today is the last straw!!! I ordered a breakfast burrito and got a breakfast sandwich, when I called the location I was basically called a liar by the cashier. Her comment was, I checked your order myself. I requested the managers either Danny or Ashley to call me. Danny called me and AGAIN called me a liar. His response was I was in the kitchen all morning and there was no breakfast sandwich made.... Great food nice selections and plenty of options for anyone. Whether it's burgers,wraps, bowls or tacos all various items to choose from honestly too many to list. PANCAKES!!!!! PANCAKES!!! Must try the PB&J pancakes desert for breakfast for sure with zero sugars and plenty of protein! The guy with dark and big eyes does just stare at u and it's awkward and I didn't know I wanted right away and he clearly was annoyed by that so I just left . I found the Greek bowl I chose to be very dry! The orange juice selection too acidic I took 3 guest to lunch. One ordered Bizon Burger, he found the burger a small portion for the price and meat portion skimpy and dry Second ordered acai bowl. thought it was ok, only. Food is excellent but I can't recommend it because they allow homeless people in begging customers inside for money while trying to enjoy their meals. My wife and I had to go back inside (sitting outside at a table) because homeless people that looked extremely shady kept walking bye and staring at us. Management needs to get a handle on this. Sucks because great food and great service but nobody wants to deal with that going out to eat...especially with women and children. read more

I've ordered food from here over Postmates several times now! I've gotten the Roots Juice, Boss Bowl, Titan Wellness Shot, and the Greek Bowl. I'm a big fan! As people have previously mentioned, they don't add a ton of salt or sauce - personally, this is what I think makes it great! They offer healthy, clean, simple eats with quality ingredients. The boss bowl is my favorite - very filling and good combination of flavors! I usually add a little hot sauce, but it's good as is! I'll keep ordering from here and someday I'll make it into their actual shop. read more

We have been wanting to try this place for a long time so we think our expectations were too high. I had the vegan impossible burger (with side sweet potato wedges ) which was good, but it was just another vegetarian burger for me. The potato wedges tasted boiled and not a lot of flavor. My two friends had the shrdd salad and they said their salad was okay. Perhaps we need to try something different because we heard really good things about this place. read more

the food is always good thats why I keep coming back. The place is clean and nice inside. However, service is not their best attribute. I called an order in over the phone at 3:05 (quoted 30 minutes) and waited in the car for about 20 minutes before going in to pay. When I went in they could not find my order. The manager came up and could not find it either. I let them know the time I called and my order, and another employee said he remembered talking to me and what I ordered. Apparently, my order was taken but somehow was not put in so the kitchen. Now at 3:25, 20 minutes after placing my "first order," I am quoted 20 more minutes. It happens and I get that, but the customer service aspect was subpar. There was no mention of "I am so sorry." The manager rang my food up and that was it. read more

I came in with my girlfriend for some lunch! We were craving something healthier and though we'd give this place a try! It was around 11am and they weren't too busy which was nice. We both built our orders. I got the 6oz grilled chicken with spinach and broccoli and brown rice with the cilantro lime rice! My girlfriend got the 6oz grilled chicken with sweet potatoes, mushrooms, asparagus, peppers and a few other items with teriyaki sauce. It was pretty good. The host didn't really know much nutrients about any of the sauces and took a guess. The teriyaki was very bland and didn't taste like anything on my gf's bowl. The atmosphere was alright pretty quiet. They could have put a little more rice in my bowl but a decent place. Not sure if I would come again. The food here is great. The staff, very nice. The kitchen? They couldn't get an order right to save their own lives. I've been coming here for the last few years and they have always had an issue with getting orders wrong. Very inconsistent. After messing up my to go order, the second consecutive time I had to leave a review. Last week, I ordered a breakfast sandwich and here are the main ingredients: english muffin, egg whites, slice of cheddar and turkey bacon. That's it. I go and pick it up and get all the way home and no turkey bacon. I tip 20% also so very frustrating. I made them refund me for once. Today, I ordered the greek bowl. This time when I went to pick it up, I checked the order before leaving and sure enough, no hummus. That comes standard with this bowl and still they can't get it right. I have lunch here 1-2 times a week and they went on a run of getting the order wrong 4 straight times. I always have double veggies as a base and 4 times in a row hardly any veggies in the bowl so management had to tell the kitchen to give me more veggies. I just don't understand it. Such a poorly run operation and the fix here should be easy. I'm not sure if ownership doesn't care or if management doesn't care or both but read the bad reviews and you will see I'm not the only one that this is happening to. If you order here check your food and budget more time to have them go back and redo your order. read more

Ordered for 1st time on Uber Eats. GFB burgers were good (good natural flavor and quality obvious) and their gluten free buns were the best I've had yet - and I've been gluten free +10 YEARS. (Wish I could buy for the house). REAL TALK this is a niche market and the FOOD is good. If you are looking for fries, moist, fatty burgers, etc. this may not be your spot, but it is the best execution for this type of concept we've had to date. The Berry Lovers salad was fresh and tasty. Appropriately-sized ("medium") healthy portion. Would like to suggest that they pack the protein separately for delivery/ takeout. I AM appalled at absolutely no compliance with the Maricopa County facemask law. I'm 68. 8 customers (not eating but walking in, out) on site without masks. This was the first time we visited the protein house. It is a very simple concept with a lot of variety on the menu. You go in, order your food, wait for your buzzer to go off and begin to enjoy your delicious meal. I got the general bowl and it was excellent! I was super excited to try this place as it is near my office and right up my alley. Was a bit shocked at the $20 price for a bowl and a drink. Fast casual is apparently moving right up the price chain! Anywho, the bowl smelled great in my car. That's the highlight. Smelled great. I ordered my steak medium and as you can see by the picture it was cooked to basically dog food status. There is also a crusty gelatinous substance spread about that appears to be overcooked as well. That gelatinous substance doesn't taste bad, it definitely looks bad though. Overall, I am thoroughly disappointed and would not recommend giving this place a try for a few months. That should give them time to get it straightened out or perish. Lots of $20 lunch choices in the area and this is no longer on my list. read more

We felt absolutely robbed. The place is meh overall, decor, entrance and the food was so bleh. I honestly do not have any good adjectives to say about this place. It's all bad. I got the Spicy Chicken Thai wrap and it was just okay. Cubed pieces of raw everything of course inside a wheat tortilla. Not much meat. Sauce was decent, but that was about it. I got a side of sweet potato WEDGES and I expected WEDGES baked and salted maybe idk, they came out burnt cubes reheated and half-way cooked. Like they didn't even bother heating them all the way through. Front desk girl was not acknowledging or offering any significant customer service. My partners vision burger was just A-okay. Nothing special, not much flavor, big pieces of semi-caramelizes onions and overpriced. Very disappointing overall. Would not recommend it at all. Instead go to Original ChopShop and do yourself a favor if you want to eat flavorful protein packed food. read more

My go to place for all things MACROS. Had the Thai Monster today and it had everything I live for! chicken and steak with some asparagus and other yummy goodness. This is definitely a hot spot for all gym bae's, meat heads, etc. The perfect place for when you're on prep (like me). It is a bit pricey so don't be appalled with your receipt. There's also "Bang" energy drinks on tap and some pretty good swag gear. Protein pancakes are yummy but I've been sticking to the "Super Bird" and Thai Monster lately. Hit and miss here but overall good. I really enjoyed the two protein shakes I've had (the Muscle Freak and Green Beast). I also liked the Shrdd Salad (not a typo...just the cool extreme way they spell "Shred"). I wasn't too big on the Burger. It was kind of bland. I know this is a "healthy" place but I wish they had an option for full-fat cheese for the Burger. Low-fat cheddar just isn't cutting it. Plus, for those of us who don't view fat as bad, full-fat cheese is healthy. The Chicken Caesar Wrap also wasn't very tasty. The dressing had a fake/chemical taste to it, probably because it was low-fat. Again, just give me the damn full-fat version as an option! By far though, the worst thing I've had here are the sweet potato side. I had visions of nicely browned toasted sweet potatoes. When I got home and opened the container, it was a soggy scoop of sweet potatoes that had the texture of being par-boiled and absolutely zero seasoning. Like not even a fleck of salt or pepper. I hate wasting food and will normally eat something I don't like instead of trashing it, but I threw these in the garbage after one bite. Service is friendly and I think the prices are reasonable given the quality of the ingredients. And I love that I can order online. Just stay away from the low-fat items and sweet potatoes, and you'll probably be happy. read more

I placed an online order here for a smoothie and it said it'd be ready in 15 mins. It took me 15 to drive there so I asked if my smoother was ready when I got there and the guy asked for my name then promptly said no. He didn't look in the little fridge where they're kept, just said no. I sat for another 15 mins, kept making eye contact with him thinking he'd tell me it was ready but he never did. So I finally went back to the counter and asked for him to look for it. He immediately found it in the fridge and it had probably been there the entire time.
