I love this new location. It is closer to my home and they offer the same delicious food that the original location offers. The restaurant is spacious and has inside and outside seating. They have tables and also comfy seating areas. I usually order their sweet crêpes or waffles. This time I ordered the herb ricotta and feta crêpe. I'm not one to complain about cheese, but it did have a lot and it was overwhelming. I did remove some of it. It was more appetizing after that. It came with a side of salad. It was a perfect combination. For my drink, I ordered the cappuccino. They do have Italian cappuccino as well. Besides the crêpes and the waffles, they also have other savory or sweet items on their menu. They also have gelato. Parking is available on site, but shared with the other businesses. We've eaten here a couple times. The very first time it was really great and fresh. I usually get the Butter Almond waffle (this first time was during their soft launch.) The second time we went everyone at the table got their food before me and basically were done by the time mine came and mine wasn't very warm when it got to me (it was the butter almond waffle again) this second time wasn't consistent with the first and wasn't nearly as good as the first time. We tried one more time thinking that might have been an off day and we didn't even get to ordering because it was SWELTERING hot inside. I'm pretty sure the AC wasn't working, it was so uncomfortable just standing in line that we couldn't imagine ordering, waiting for and eating in that environment. IF the ac gets fixed we may give it one more chance in the future as that first time was actually pretty good. read more

Visited during their grand opening week! It is a cute location and the menu is large! I got an iced caffe latte and a smoked salmon omelette. I definitely would not order that again at this location.. they just had too many thick slices of smoked salmon and chunks of cream cheese cubes. The house potatoes were also undercooked. Went on a Saturday around 1230 pm, no line, there were ample seats available. You order your own food, everyone was patient. Got our food right. The biscoff was tasty, felt like it lacked filling towards the end. The four cheese was pretty good and the chilaquiles. My son enjoyed the kid's chicken one, my husband liked the flavor too and I felt the portion and amount of chicken was right for a kids meal. My kids also ordered ice cream after, which I found pricey for 6+ dollars but I guess we're dealing with gelato, so understandable. Will return to try other items! read more

Hubby and I tried the new restaurant off of the 1604 shanefield, the restaurant was very clean and open. Was greeted by the staff immediately and they were very helpful and attentive. We both had the house coffe which was a decent cup of coffee, maybe have more flavored creams at the at the water counter but not needed. Hubby had the biscoff crepe he enjoyed it but by the end he said it was a lot of sweetness. We share a maple pecan croffle and it was very good, not overly sweet, crispy on the outside like a waffle but soft and flakey on the inside like a croissant. I had their smoked salmon omelette, which had spinach, cream cheese, smoked/cured salmon, capers and topped with everything seasoning; at first bite it tasted great, but by the end it was way to salty. The everything seasoning is not needed, or needed to be less, the capers were massive and way to many. They either need to be chopped or get the small pearl capers and put in less. Between the seasoning on the top, capers, and cured salmon it was all too much salt and almost uneatable. It also came with some toast points that helped a little to cut some of the salt but not enough, and potatoes. The potatoes could have been cooked longer and needed a bit of salt ironically...some were just a bit too under. In total with tip it was around 50 dollars for everything. I wouldn't mind going back to try something else but both hubby and I said we would not order the same thing (besides the croffle) again. We will be back and it's worth a try! read more

New crepe place! We had to try it out, I love crepes! I was pleasantly surprised with their searing inside and outside in the courtyard. They had many table options, a few booths and more comfortable, casual seating along the window. I ordered a hot cocoa, although I felt it was very overpriced, I've never seen hot cocoa cost more than or even the same price as specialty coffee. I also ordered a 16oz and got a regular 12oz coffee cup size. My husband ordered a 12oz macchiato and his was at least the same amount as mine if not more. The macchiato was very good! We also ordered eggs Benedict, they were very good but the potatoes could've been cooked a little longer and maybe seasoned a little. I ordered the lemon sugar crepe but it didn't have any lemon except a tiny slice on the side, it was pretty much a strawberry crepe. The owner/manager (?) came over and spoke with us after we ate and he was very open to my suggestion to add some lemon curd or something lemon. My husband also ordered the raspberry Brie waffle, he liked it. Overall, great experience, very clean and nice establishment and friendly staff. read more

I can't believe I'm writing this review. This is the restaurant's new location, and I expected the same--or even higher--standards than the original. Unfortunately, my first visit for dinner was a major disappointment from start to finish. I originally ordered the Au Poivre, but my waiter informed me that the chef said the steak was "rock hard" and recommended I choose something else. I switched to the Carbonara, only to receive a dish with a broken sauce and chicken that was still cold in some areas. To make up for the issues, the staff sent out dessert. While the gesture was appreciated, it arrived while we were still eating our meal, so the ice cream melted before we could enjoy it. Later, they asked me to try the Au Poivre after all. It was terrible. The meat was extremely tough, and the demi-glace resembled thick, refrigerated brown gravy rather than a properly prepared sauce. Nearly everything we ate was either bland or downright unpleasant. As an added concern, a fly landed in our cup of burger sauce during the meal. To top it all off, I was charged for two Au Poivre entrees at $26 each, even though the replacement dishes were approximately $25 less in total. This experience was unacceptable. Sadly, I cannot recommend this location. read more

Overall our experience was pleasant however the breakfast food was a little lack luster. The restaurant itself is very aesthetic and there was plenty of seating. The staff were all very friendly. We went around 11am on a Wednesday and there was no line. To eat we ordered the Eggs Benedict, broccoli cheddar soup and a sweet Philly crepe. Unfortunately their machine was down for hot milk so we got an iced matcha latte and iced caramel macchiato. The food didn't take long to come out however the poached eggs on the Eggs Benedict was hard boiled and when we let the gentlemen know he said that's the normal for this plate. He did offer to take it back to remake it and was very nice about it. Overall it was a bit pricy for the breakfast portions so I don't think I would get that again. Wow! Now, when it comes to Biscoff themed desserts, this is my new all time favorite! The crepe was cooked perfectly (not too thick or rubbery), and the amount of filling was just right. Some people, when using Biscoff in their desserts, will add too much and add chocolate, making it overly sweet. But here... just perfect! Not too sweet... Just the right amount. The food was fine, but the way the manager treated a mother on Mother's Day was completely unacceptable. Instead of showing patience and professionalism during a busy holiday, the manager chose to belittle and embarrass her in front of other customers. It was rude, dismissive, and honestly shocking to watch. No customer -- especially a mother celebrating Mother's Day -- should be spoken to in such a disrespectful manner. A good manager knows how to handle stressful situations without demeaning people. Unfortunately, this experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a special day. Customer service matters just as much as the food, and because of the manager's behavior, I will not be returning. First off, not enough seating and unfortunately you order your food first THEN find somewhere to sit which does not work. Second, they have employees who are food runners, my issue with this is so many plates are being pushed out at once, entrees were constantly being handed out to the wrong table. My husband and I decided to check out this new location after having enjoyed the Babcock location years ago and left sorely disappointed. We went on July 3rd and because other restaurants were busy, we decided to make a reservation online just in case. After we arrived at the restaurant and ordered, we told a staff member about our reservation and were informed of the location of our table. When we went to our table, however, it had a reservation sign on it, but was covered in dirty dishes. We informed a staff member and she let us know that someone would come clean it. After a few minutes had passed with no one coming, I informed someone who looked like the manager, and he dismissively responded with "uh-huh", avoiding eye contact. Ten minutes passed and the dirty dishes remained on our table, so we put them away ourselves in a bus bin nearby. There was bits of food on our table and I went to look for napkins to clean it off, (since the staff proved unreliable) and noticed the napkin dispenser was empty. There was a roll of paper towels on an empty table, so I tore off some and cleaned the table myself. 20 minutes passed and we both finally received our drinks, both subpar, my chai tea latte tasting like milk with a hint of chai flavor. We waited and waited for our food, and noticed a lot of tables who ordered ahead of us were still waiting on their food. The restaurant was busy, but by that time nearly 40 minutes had passed and we still hadn't received our food. We were both hungry, and dissatisfied with our treatment so far, decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Do NOT waste your time here. The atmosphere was nice, sure, but the service was TERRIBLE. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived it was cold. The inside of the restaurant was extremely hot and uncomfortable, so we ended up having to move outside to the patio. We walked past a gentleman worker to go into the bathroom he acknowledged us while we passed him as we went into the bathroom. So he saw us go in the bathroom. We walked out of the stall and the gentle man was in there playing with the garbage I stoped in my tracks he saw us and proceeded to KEEP changing the garbage . I told my husband and he talked to the supervisor and he seemed like he didn't care. Do not come to this place if you want to feel safe while using the restroom. Absolutely disgusting. What a freak. And everyone there acting like nothing was wrong with the whole situation. Door shut just me and my daughter in there with a man who works there. What kind of crap is that. 5 star food, honestly. The smoked salmon omelette is a flavor combination in an omelette I've never experienced, amazing! The strawberry ricotta crepes were delicious and not overpoweringly sweet. The tres leches crepes were perfectly balanced. The chef greeted us at the door and walked us through the menu. Friendly staff all around. The food came out timely.
