Honestly, if i didn't have a reason to go here, I would've just driven by because from the outside, it doesn't look too inviting. Upon walking inside, you'll notice that its a huge market inside with a meat counter in the back & a place off to the side that sells food. We came for the steak service. Got a few cuts and paid the service fee to have them cook it there (we dont have a grill at home & also its been way too hot) I guess maybe it depends on the person who's grilling it - but our ribeye should've been medium, came out a little more cooked than that. They also top it with garlic and i think oil or butter, not sure. You can also get a side of veggies & potatoes however $7 is pretty steep for that. I'd probably come back to get the steaks cooked however go home & make my own sides. read more

I was genuinely excited to check this place out after seeing several social media videos raving about it. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing like what was advertised. The only thing the videos got right was the empty parking lot. I stopped by on a Tuesday and immediately noticed some concerning issues. There was a leak in the ceiling, with water collecting on top of a display. The soda machine was out of service, and the meat department didn't inspire much confidence since some of the meat was already starting to turn brown. The famous $1 tacos is now closer to $3 and fried chicken that influencers were calling "the best in town." Sadly, neither lived up to the hype. Saw this place on my IG and it blowing up for its taco Tuesday specials so we decided to go give this place a tribe. When I got there, the price that I had seen was not available and nonexistent. You'll see my picture of the price I paid for my tacos. The tacos were small & Mid in flavor. The meat seemed kind of dried out like it had been sitting there for a while as well. I will say their salsa bar wasn't bad salsa tasted fresh came with onions and jalapeños that you could have on the side. The service was OK but nothing special. The vibe was very quiet. Nothing special when I went there at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. For the price of these tacos, I could definitely find a cheaper and better Taco in my area and I won't be back to this place. They get a 3 from me for not having the price as advertised and for the dry meat they served. read more

Came in on a friday to try out their steak cooking service. Only $3 is a steal especially when im too lazy to cook. There was a big seating area inside and a tv playing the world cup games. Steaks came out good & I tried their chicharron con carne while I was waiting, fire. Service was great, parking was easy to find and overall the store was really clean. We have tried 4x to get their fried chicken at 4 different times of day on different days. When I ask the lady behind the counter when is the best time, she stated at me and said anytime. Ummm ok .. We've seen it on Instagram and even their weekly mail advertisement for the best Southern fried chicken. I just don't understand this place is NOT busy at all and looks like it's about to go out of business. read more

If you're coming here for the $1 Taco Tuesday, go elsewhere. I understand for $1 tacos there has to be some cutbacks, but when you can literally count the amount of meat cubes in your tacos, you're not getting a deal no matter how much you pay for it. I would've even been satisfied with a modest meat portion, but this was basically to the degree of getting scammed, especially after seeing what was advertised online! read more

I come here to purchase their fresh flour tortillas. salsas, chips, and meats to make tacos at home. One time we purchased lengua (tongue) and the butcher asked if we knew how to cook it so that he could give us advice and we told him we did. Very thoughtful! Selection is limited but you can get the essentials and marinated meats as well if you're considering making meals at home. They have a food court and it's reasonably priced as well. I love supporting the small businesses around the area, especially if I'm only looking to buy a few ingredients to make my meals. I haven't had the chance to browse all aisles but I do remembering seeing a good snack selection of different chips and candies. read more

I had not been here before, but my Stater Brothers closed down, so I decided to check it out. They were very limited in their stock for what I was looking for, but they have great potential. I just wish their prices weren't quite so high. They are so friendly and they have a great food court and they are looking forward to hearing input from Neighbors Since Stater Brothers did close they would like to bring in products that shoppers might be looking for and need! This is a wonderful market! There is plenty of parking and the staff is helpful. The selection isn't as big as a major grocery store, but we found what we needed. I was happy to see Tillamook cream cheese, as it's my favorite. I'd love to try the food at the restaurant inside. The prices are great and the food looked amazing. There is also a nice seating area to enjoy your meal. There is also a wide range of meat you can cook at home. Next time I will buy the steak milanese to cook at home. First of all, I have to say that the store is clean overall. When it comes to service I literally had to look for a staff member to ask for something as there was nobody by the taqueria area, nobody by the bakery meat area was empty and I had to walk again by the bakery and finally I saw there was someone in the taqueria which was on his phone texting and as I am asking him something he's still texting. Anyways long story short he didn't have the answer went to ask at the bakery and told him that the baker wasn't in yet, basically the baker was the one with the answer. Anyways, I looked around and prices are a little high compared to other markets. Maybe if in a rush and really really need something from there I would purchase and hopefully get a better service. I will most likely give the taqueria a try as their menu looked good. We will see! :| read more

This review is for the taqueria that is inside Provecho Market. It was Tuesday and why not try a new taco Tuesday spot, right? Their tacos are normally $2.59 on regular days but tbh, it's still worth that price! And on any other days, if you buy 4 tacos or more, it's STILL only $1.99/taco!! The wonderful employees here are so kind and have super friendly smiles and service. I got 4 tacos but could only eat like 2 but made a 3rd one due to double tortilla tacos that they serve. Cool spot, I'd definitely come back again no doubt. Give them a shot and tip them if you can, yeah? read more

A traditional Mexican market with some Korean options. Ever since our beloved Staters closed this has been my go to for in between visits to Walmart for my regular shopping. As of today, I've had no issues here. Workers are always smiling and happy to help, really good people so I don't mind paying a little extra for convenience when I don't want to drive to Walmart. I love their fresh chips and guacamole. The chiveche is also good! Great beer selection, and the meat department has your standard go-to selections for your carne asada BBQ. In all, much has been slowly removed due to a lot of the produce and certain items not being sold because of low customer traffic. I'll continue to support these good people until the day they decide to shut their doors. I urge you all to see for yourself. Not the cheapest but not terribly expensive and very convenient if you're in the Chapman/ Euclid area. Try for yourself. read more

We frequent this market for the chips, salsa and guacamole. Omgosh. The guacamole is SO good. The employees have always been really nice and it's kept very clean. I can't speak for the groceries part of the store, but the fresh food area has been great so far. The tacos are surprisingly good and we are curious about the chilaquiles. read more

The weekly ad comes out on a Wednesday, it advertised pan dulce. I came in on Thursday and purchased two pieces, a muffin and a crème filed empanada. The muffin was dry and stale. The empanada was so stale and dry that the crème inside had dried up into a paste. Disappointed is an understatement. read more

Before I went the store seemed appealing, but the items are overpriced and expired. Some of the few items I saw expired were the beer, frozen foods and some produce was even moldy. The manager straight up disrespectful. Doesn't greet ANY customers whatsoever and always on the phone texting. Pan dulce, dry and flavorless. Bread doesn't seem fresh. They advertise fresh "hand made" tortillas and masa, but when I couldn't find any I asked the taqueria and they said they don't make any. Overall most employees seem nice besides the management. I've seen swap-meets more organized and professional than this, don't recommend people shopping here. Support real local businesses. read more

My mom had a bad experience with the menudo sold here. The manager told her they make delicious menudo on the weekends. She decided to try it Sunday 11/05. It was the worst meudo she's ever had. Tasteless not even the flys would eat it. She spent $15, and ended up throwing it away. Don't eat the menudo here. You'll be disappointed. read more

I decided to try this spot out a couple of weeks ago and had the worst experience ever. First, I found several expired products on the shelves, some of which they actively promoted, such as their guacamole, pico de gallo, and shrimp cocktail. These items expired several weeks ago, which is appalling. The prices are outrageous for what you get, specifically in the taqueria--definitely not worth it! I bought a tamale for almost $4 just for it to be smaller than my wrist. I got some tacos for my husband, and the meat tasted very old and had no flavor. To top it all off, the food made my husband sick. Despite our bad experience in the taqueria, the cashier was so lovely. I didn't ask for her name, but she deserves a raise for enduring such a workplace. I also noticed how poorly the employees were treated; it created a very uneasy environment, and it was extremely uncomfortable to watch. Please save your money and go somewhere else! read more
