I've signed up for my third class and can hardly wait. As for the store itself, the staff are really nice. I've purchased a number of items here. If you take a cooking class you also get 10% off in the store which I took advantage of. They have a beautiful selection of just about everything you would ever need for your kitchen and serving goods. What's not to like about that?

They had flavored water for all who shopped and looked to be an espresso machine that was an option for us to try, but wasn't working at the time. We started the class and Chef Gabbi was a delight. She took to time to explain everything to us and even some great tips we can try for other dishes. She was quite amazing and kind. When we heard it was sadly closing down at the end of the year, we made a special trip just to stop in here. It's a beautiful store with more than just gardening supplies. We picked up some toys for our cats as well as some Christmas ornaments and postcards as memorabilia. And I especially love how despite Luis the store cat passing away over 10 years ago, you can still find lots of references to him around the store. Really wish there was a way to save this place. :(

Once the appliances were delivered I contracted a appliance technician to connect the oven for me and test it out and was told the oven doesn't work no gas to the pilot and one of the burners doesn't light. Contacted Peoples and was told there was no warranty. I was put on hold and requested a call back and newer received one. Spent $4,000 not to a call back. I would not recommend buying anything used from there.

My daughter needed some supplies for a catering job that she is doing so my first thought was to stop here. We were able to pick up cookware, serving dishes, bakeware, knives, aprons, serving and prepping equipment, and they even have large commercial appliances. Everything was price VERY reasonably and the quality is great. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. If you are having a graduation party, family reunion, or even just a dinner party, it's truly worth the drive.

I've had other shakers that have never rusted after years of use, so yea, I will never buy anything from them again. Buyers be aware of this place. I went there to buy countertops for a project. I in fact interview…read morefour different places before returning to this business. I found a countertop and asked questions about veining because the countertops that I picked out had veins. First off the guy came to measure the countertops and they were cut two short and they gave us a hard time about that and then to tell me that I could have my contractor fill in the holes. Second I decided to use the countertops as back splashes and again asked the question about the veins matching. They told me they would match. Not the case at all. When they came to install for a second time the veins do not match the backsplashes after I was told they would. They claimed they never said this which is not true and told me that I had buyers remorse. For a $10,000 job they are doing sloppy work and do not care about the customers. I had asked about a discount because now I have to live with ugly countertops that do not match and will only receive a 5% discount which is nothing. The owner does not care about his customers and only cares about his money. Buyers beware of this place. Also when you walk into the shop the staff look miserable as they never have smiles on their faces, it's like they can't be bothered to get up to help you. Buyers beware of this place.
