I normally like specialty coffees or seasonal drinks and he was able to make a recommendation of the cinnamon roll latte. It was very flavorful, not super sweet and the coffee isn't bitter. They accidentally made an extra coffee so I was able to take the second one with me! The syrup options are endless and there are a ton of drink options if you can't quite make a decision. Inside you can write in the wall and leave a special touch! There is a good amount of seating inside and outside if you are needing to get work done! It is a house so you could pass it without knowing it's a coffee shop!

We did not add any syrups, which are additional cost on already pricey drinks. The chai is nice and spicy, which I love, but I wish I had added a syrup. The matcha just tasted like milk honestly. If you like a more milky, less grassy matcha this is the place for you. Additionally, this place is very popular so the wait is kind of long. There are 3 ways to order - your phone, a tablet, and at two different windows. It seemed like they were struggling to manage all of the different orders. Drinks were mixed up at the two windows, so they spent extra time trying to yell out the name or find the person. Next time, I would order ahead for pick up.

The espresso was perfect. Something we had not had since our arrival. Cortado was great, drip coffee was great, and their latte.... Let me tell you about their latte. I had a carrot cake with cream cheese cold foam. I asked for half the syrup. It was delicious, perfection, amazing. One day I had it hot, the next I had it iced, both were incredible. If I were guaranteed not to go into a sugar spiral, I would drink the cold foam straight. Now I'm preparing to go back tomorrow. Update: We came back two more times before we left NC. No regrets! We finally found an amazing coffee shop and that was important. Also, they make a fantastic Cloud Matcha AND they often watermelon seed milk aka MILKish. This is a game changer. The milk was tasty, with the tiniest but of sweetness, but no sugar or carbs. I don't know how they did it, but I'm here for it and on a mission to find MILKish here!

It's easy to park (they even validate your parking for 90 mins or so!), they have seasonal drinks that are actually good and the food is great for a coffee shop! I got the That's Amore and avocado toast this visit. The last time I got the breakfast sandwich! The avocado toast is topped with olive oil, which makes it so delicious! It's beautifully decorated, the seating is comfortable and the staff is very helpful especially when it comes to recommendations! If you can't find seating there is more seating toward the bathrooms and it's nice because they are booths! It's my understanding they make some of their syrups which I love because you know they are fresh, and to me that means they take pride in the quality of their drinks. It's worth a stop if you are in the area!

"Your cortado", in the most unenthusiastic tone you could think of. Got my drink and it was a shot of espresso with foam on top. That's it. They have great reviews here, so maybe I came in on a bad day, but I'll never be back. I'll stick with Summit at Wilmore.

That particular day, I had a bad experience at another coffee shop after wasting money on an iced latte that was horrid. When I walked into Summit, I said to the barista, look I can't take another bad coffee, do I have to tell you I want it sweet in order to get an iced latte that isn't bitter? The barista took the time to speak with me regarding my experience and share how Summit makes their coffee and syrups. She even let me sample one. That resulted in a great experience as I purchased the enjoyable Birthday Cake Summit Special ($6.60). While this shop is far from my residence, I definitely will go back whenever I'm in the area.
