There is a reason they have a 5 star rating. I went here after a horrible experience with US bank on a boat loan. The entire process from start to finish took about 24 hours. Mr Hong was the best it's obvious as to why he is the branch manager. He made US Bank look silly. I will never look at another bank without going to Hong first. Thank you! read more

I wanted to refinance my car and when I called Yvette at the Dublin location she was very helpful and pleasant to work with. I had to go into the branch to open an account and complete everything. The branch was very safe and clean and practiced social distancing. They even offered to turn up the A/C for me because I was having a hot flash. Lol. The masks don't help. Going on 3 weeks now for less than $500. I have provided all the documents. They have ONE person that handles this and he does not listen. I originally went to the Hayward branch and the person that helped me wasn't very helpful at all. I decided to finish my auto loan and paperwork at the Dublin branch because I was sick of dealing with the other person over there. Andy, Yvette and Daniel were very helpful. They provided me with all the information I needed, they answered ALL my questions and were very patient with me. They had great customer service and were very friendly and welcoming. This was my first loan and first time financing a car and they made it painless. I appreciate the time they took to make sure all my paperwork was done in a timely manner and even when Yvette was out of office, Andy and her were in sync and he took over to complete my auto loan so I could get my new car I was financing. I talked with Karla and explained my concerns about the situation. She took immediate action to help get the charges reversed and get the money back into my account. I have had PCU for just over two years. I opened my accounts in the Dublin branch and was working with Andy (very helpful and very knowledgeable). I recently refinanced my mortgage as my rate was high and PCU added over 400 dollars to my impound account to pad the escrow account. My most recent experience with PCU is this; I had an interest free line of credit through Synchrony Bank of close to 1,300 dollars. I carefully calculated the monthly payment to have the line of credit paid off in the year so I would not receive any interest. I set the payments up on my online bill pay. The card should have been paid in full as of May, but much to my surprise there remained a large balance on the Synchrony account. In reviewing my statement, it appears PCU was unable to get the paid amount to Synchrony in a timely matter and I had 6 late fee charges (out of 12 equal payments) and then interest was added as well. I have never had this problem with a large bank and was quiet surprised that PCU couldn't get the payment to Synchrony on time. When I called PCU to see if they could remedy the situation they simply stated there is nothing that they can do. I currently have a savings, checking, car loan and trailer loan with PCU that I am in the process of closing and moving to a more responsible and established financial institution. I am VERY unhappy with their services and warn anyone that is looking for a reliable and responsive financial institution Provident Credit Union is NOT it! read more

I recently purchased a new vehicle and went to provident credit union to obtain an auto loan. I was amazed at how easy the process was. They walked me through everything step-by-step. They even talked to me about additional coverages and features which I had no idea existed. They had me out of there in about an hour because I was able to do most of the prep work before due to their very helpful checklist. Vinisha Bhukhan was absolutely amazing.
