I visited yesterday as part of a large group (8 adults, 2 kids) for a birthday dinner. We were seated promptly and had a very sweet server. It took some time for us all to order and start getting our drinks. However, the food started coming out pretty quickly. I ordered the Plant Power with cajun seasoning at the medium spice level with a side of boiled eggs. It was so delicious! It came out piping hot and covered in seasoning. The plant power comes with a generous amount of corn, boiled potatoes, and broccoli. The boiled eggs were overcooked, though, and they were too hot to eat for awhile, though. They burned my fingers! I loved the flavor and didn't think it was spicy at all, though. I was worried that the veggie plate would be underwhelming in comparison to the seafood boils that everyone else ordered but I think I actually enjoyed it the most lol Since they knew we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, they gave a gift card for $15 off his next visit. Came to Juicy today for lunch for the first time after hearing so many people talk about it. We are not big seafood eaters (I am vegetarian but willing to try seafood), and thought this may be a good chance to have crab for the first time! It wasn't busy on a Saturday at lunch time. Staff was friendly and we were sat right away, we were however sat in the wrong section and had to move after getting settled. But no worries, we were understanding! I loved the decor, very fitting for a seafood spot. And when we were sat we received a bucket with all the tools needed to get into the meal: wipes, gloves, bibs, plates, forks, scissors. Our drink menu was well loved, and hard to read. I opted for the flying tiger drink, and the server laughed a little and walked if that's what I wanted. I was a bit confused, but let me tell you it's delicious but STRONG. We started off with Mozerella sticks and Cajun fries. The Mozerella sticks were served with marinara, and were good but nothing special. The fries came with tartar sauce, and were some of the best fries I've had! As for the reason we came, the seafood boil. I got the Plant Power (potato, corn, broccoli) and added boiled eggs. I got it "juicy style" which is all of the seasonings, and chose medium for my spice level. Everything was great, the eggs were over cooked a bit, but good nonetheless. My spouse got the Mr Captain (Snow crab, sausage, shrimp, potato, corn, egg) with the same spice & level. He was not pleased with the shrimp overall, and could have done without it overall. I tried some of the crab, and can confidently say it was the best thing we ordered and I am a huge fan of crab now! The crab wasn't as meat-y as we hoped and overall it was a lot of work to crack open for such a small amount of meat. Since we are new to the seafood scene, I'm not sure if it's normal to have that little of meat in snow crab. Overall, we will be coming again to try more things. The must haves for us would be crab (duh!) and those Cajun fries! read more

During my visits, I observed what I believed to be serious problems with management, customer service, and restaurant maintenance. I was troubled by what appeared to be unsanitary conditions, including issues that raised concerns about cleanliness and upkeep. These conditions significantly affected my confidence in the establishment. I was also disappointed by interactions with management, which I felt were unprofessional and failed to address customer concerns appropriately. In my view, some guests were treated unfairly, creating an unwelcoming environment. Additionally, I witnessed conduct that caused me concern regarding compliance with policies and regulations. Because of these experiences, I no longer feel comfortable supporting this business. Especially after seeing a actual child predator working and serving children I will be informing the authorities but until someone takes action be aware of your self and children from this man and all the drunk servers oh and manager who said her name is rain sleep at front desk very disgusting attitude seems to made racial slurs to children in the building being to loud by laughing amongst themselves.. also I realized quickly someone needs to call immigration on the whole kitchen staff I spoke to a guy in the back who told me the owners paid to get them here to work for them from Mexico read more

Food was amazing.i mean amazing I don't even like seafood but the meals and options they offer are impeccable the service was great I can't remember her name but she was a really nice lady a mother of four because we talked about our sons and then liking seafood. We all got full and still took allot with us for later on. And it was still around 100 dollars for all four of us to share the 89 dollar boil which had soooo many shrimp . It's a nice environment for what you're eating it's perfect with a comfy AC keeping you cool while you enjoy your food. I give it a 10 foot service price and the experience alone was so much fun. This was my first time here! The hush puppies were so good! And I loved the snow crab legs! They really prepare for you to make a mess here. I was confused with the bib at first but then I had so much flavorful juicy dripping down my chest that I needed it! I got to choose the flavor and spicy level of what my crab legs were tossed in. Babe and I decided to have date night at this location and I have no complaints! We walked in and got sat right away, our server John was very helpful explaining the menu and how it worked with ordering. He was also very attentive and a great server! We ordered strawberry margaritas which were so delicious! We then proceeded to order 2 of The Red Bomb which was also delicious!!! We were greeted promptly and sat, we waited for a while before our waitress come over to greet up and take our drink order. While she was speaking to us she was looking around the room making it hard to hear her over the loud music. We ordered a cup of the New England clam chowder for a starter and a combination seafood boil with the juicy special (all of their sauce flavors). We waited for quite a bit and a man headed to our table with a steaming hot metal tray of seafood, our waitress called over to him that we had ordered the chowder for a starter. He turned around and a few minutes later we had our chowder. It was served steaming hot and tasty. Unfortunately, after we finished our chowder, they brought out the same seafood that they had tried to serve us before just no longer hot. The pan of seafood arrived and it contained mussels, petite crab legs, shrimp, lobster tail, corn, and potatoes. There was at least an inch or more deep of a butter liquid in the bottom of the pan which made everything quite messy. The overall flavor was good, but the quality and the size of the seafood made it just okay. The best part of the boil were the potatoes and the corn if which there were only a few pieces. It's a good start, maybe just an off night. I would have preferred our dinner served steaming hot, with no liquid in the bottom of the tray. read more

The sauce tasted like pure oil....not butter and not seasoned or spicy AT ALL. This is the second time that I've experienced this. The environment is nice and fishy (he he...the artwork). The food is delicious. They have all kinds of seafood and combos to choose from. We had hush puppies, chicken wings and combo that included a lobster tail, crab legs shrimp potatoes and corn. Everything was good but obviously the seafood was best. I mean, that's their specialty but I appreciate the other options, especially since my two year old tagged along (he approves of the chicken wings!) We added broccoli to the boil and chose the juicy special (all the sauces mixed) and the spice level was mild. It was very good and enough to share with my 8 year old. I'm not sure if the combos are meant for sharing but you only get 1 small corn on the cob. You could always add on additional items for a small up charge. Overall, I will be back! read more

I LUV this seafood restaurant! It's my go to for seafood although I wish you could take out items from the different broils like eggs or the meat, the sausage. Also why can you only add 3 extra corn and not just one? That's kinda annoying and lastly not so much their problem, but just me giving some advice. I usually get the "all of the above" sauce and WHOOW is it STRONG. Like just so many flavors and spices that half way through it gets unbearable. So be careful up with "all of the above" sauces. We visited last week, and it was our first in person dining date night since Covid hit. Each restaurant seems to have their own protocols about how they manage their business through the pandemic, and I was happy to see temperature checks happening before guests enter plus hand sanitizer available once inside. After signing a waiver acknowledging we were opting to dine in and not hold the restaurant liable for the associated risks, we waited outside while a table became available. We were lucky enough to get seated in their outdoor patio area, especially since it was great weather. I noticed inside was not packed. They had been careful to limit the number of indoor diners to help promote social distancing. Now...the good stuff...FOOD! I was shy about wearing a plastic bib, but I'll enthusiastically wear one next time so I can dive in to the pile of buttery, well seasoned shrimp, crawfish & crab legs with abandon....soooo good! The staff was friendly, but you could tell they were definitely new...not familiar with the beer offerings and obvious lack of ease with serving. Not a huge deal since the place is relatively new and trying to manage through a pandemic. I do hope they get more crab leg crackers. The waiter said they were out, and it's a seafood place not operating with a full house just yet. Once more people know how good it is, they'll definitely want to make sure each party (at least) can have something more than a fork to crack open the crab legs. read more

My daughters had the crawfish and chicken tenders. The tenders were very delicious. I had the scallops along with shrimp, potatoes, corn and sausage. The scallops were slightly disappointing. The corn wasn't edible as it was either very old or overcooked. The rest of the food was good. I wasn't a fan of the sauce. It was extremely salty, and I actually love seasonings. So, my family and I went to Juicy Seafood in Castleton area for nephew 11th birthday on Thursday July 21st. My nephew loves seafood so he chosen to have his birthday dinner at Juicy Seafood. The restaurant is in a great location in the Castleton area, close to the Castleton Square Mall, as well as other businesses in the area. Entering, the restaurant there are some stairs, and once in the restaurant if your party is 6 + more you can't sit down until everyone at your party arrives. We, didn't have a reservation, we had to wait until everyone showed up in order to be seated. While, waiting for the rest of the party to show up you can wait inside in the waiting area. Once, seated down we ordered our drinks, then our dinner. I ordered something simple a catfish basket(4) as well as corn(4). When, you order corn for a side it you don't get one, but you'll get four corns. Lastly, my family order different seafood entrées. The birthday boy had his delicious seafood in the bag, he loves crab legs. Overall, the experience at Juicy Seafood out in Castleton wasn't bad at all. read more
