They offer great lunch prices, which included unlimited drinks and salad bar access, unlimited meat choices and a dessert. Man, now this is a hidden gem for lunch! We got here around 1:30 (not too busy), it was our first time visiting and was greeted promptly and sat immediately. Everyone was so helpful and nice. They made sure to check on us during our experience. The only reason that I didnt give a 5/5 is because some of the food wasnt labeled to show meat was included. As I was putting some of the brussel sprout medley on my plate, I noticed bacon in the mix. I haven't eaten meat in almost 13 years. Had it been labeled, I wouldn't have grabbed it. Stopped in for a lunch with the family. It was also an early birthday celebration for my son. We certainly enjoyed the meal and different food offerings. I like that you can pick and choose which meats to try as they are brought around. My son got an old fashioned but wasnt impressed and said hes had better. The food however was delicious. I enjoyed quite a few of the cold offerings and the bacon was a hit with a few of us as well. Price is fair considering what all you get. Our server's name was Miguel and he explained how the full experience worked and was very attentive to us. There was so much food, and it's good quality food. Let me tell you, the salmon was the best I've ever had. Grilled and seasoned perfectly with a mango sauce! The bathrooms were freezing cold including the water to handwash in the sink. The restaurant is nicely decorated, simple and elegant. The food is quality and plentiful- you can eat as much or as little as you want. I try to take little bites of everything so I can experience as many tastes as possible before getting too full. The full experience is more expensive but includes all the delicious flame grilled meats that your heart desires.. and your stomach can hold. The hot and cold salad bar is less expensive but there are so many options from smoked salmon to soup and salads and fruit and cheese. They had this potatoes and parmesan soup that blew me away! They had rice, beens, and a wide variety of salads like chicken salad and tabouli. If your vegan, there is plenty for you as well. I have been wanting to try this new north side restaurant and for some friends to go with me. From the minute you walk I. You realize this was totally done and well appointed the decor is great and the staff is wonderful. We sat at the bar first and they have a great bar staff and selection is up there either other high end restaurants. We then mi ed to a table and once again we wanted for nothing and the service was impeccable. The food started as your typical Brazilian steakhouse. OMG , everything was amazing. 3 out of 4 of our family were Brazilian first timers. We are talking the cuisine not the wax! Har har. Came here as requested for my son's 14th bday. We loved this restaurant, plain and simple. The hot and cold bar was overwhelming in a good way. Choices upon choices: salads, cheeses, fruits, bisque, the most delicious maple bacon, shrimp, cake with chantilly lace banana cream...the list goes on and on. Kids price is half off which was nice. My youngest tried so many new foods. The fried cheese with honey was a hit as was the grilled pineapple. I had salmon, drumsticks and plenty from the hot and cold bar. My other three got all meat. Service was impeccable. Our server Kyle checked on us frequently and asked if there was meat that we had not seen come around yet that we wanted to try. Loved the service. All of the table side food servers were courteous and helpful. It was busy for a Sunday night but not busy where it's overwhelming and overstimulating. Perfect vibe for a Sunday night. This was a great experience actually we ended up coming here after our original reservation for Valentine's Day was a flop. We found this reservation last minute and they were able to get us in with no problem even though they were jam-packed. Once we arrived we were seated in less than 15 minutes. This is my second time trying a Brazilian style restaurant, but this one is actually good. I didn't care for the first one. All the meat was very fresh and drinks were good. They kept the buffet stocked and they walked around plenty of times so there was no way you could miss something. We were taken to a table and told how the food was brought around. We were also told we could go to the salad bar. There is quite a bit of food there. Once you sit down , they bring around the different meats. I'm not fond of lamb, and I'm allergic to Shrimp. I did have the different types of steak. When they bring the steak, they have three differently cooked such as rare, medium and well down. They brought around a pineapple with brown sugar and cinnamon on it. It was delicious. The salad bar was very above average with many choices of salad, cold cuts, cheese, and candied bacon. The meats were either too rare or more on the medium side. But regardless of whether it was rare or medium, none of the meat was that tender and many of the meats were overly salty. I did enjoy the grilled pineapple and the fried cheese with honey which are more unique items not available at all Brazilian bbq restaurants. I saw that there were pictures of beef ribs and pork ribs, but didn't see it served at all in the 2 hours I was at the restaurant. She made reservations months ago but was nervous as the last experience we had at a Brazilian steakhouse was HORRIBLE ( FdC) a few years ago. She had good things about Terra Gaucho though so we gave it a try. First thing is the place is hopping. Don't even think about getting in on a weekend night without a reservation! When we finally got a waiter, he was amazing and took care of us very well. My daughter asked for specifically medium on all of her meats and she could never get one all of the meat she would serve was medium rare which is what I like finally that was taken care of, and she was served . The salad bar was delicious and had a variety of things on it. I was disappointed that there was no cheese bread we were going to order the devour menu, but we're told that if we ordered that we would not get any beef or lamb or pork so we went with the higher priced option. Although the meat was good. I don't believe that I would go here again for the price I spent over $80. Wow!! Ok so I am not a huge fan of the Brazilian steak houses but I was blown away!! I was invited out to try this with a friend and it was phenomenal. We went right about 4:30 on a Saturday and there was no wait. I could see there being a wait in the future as the space is not huge but not small either. The staff is the best I've come accross in a long time. Everyone works well together and all in sync. You can stop anyone walking by and they were all super nice. Customer service is top tier!! The food is phenomenal. The meat quality is superb and well seasoned and full of flavor! I can't find one critique for this place. I would like to see the salad bar with the options labeled. Some of the stuff I had no idea what it was. Nevertheless, it's tasty just would like to know what some dishes that I am unfamiliar with are called. My friend and I went to the restaurant one Saturday evening for drinks and bar bites. We knew it would be busy due to Valentine's Day, but we decided to give it a try anyway. Upon entering, the place was aesthetically pleasing, and we were greeted by friendly staff. We let them know we wanted to sit at the bar. Once we were seated, it took over ten minutes before anyone came to greet us. The bar wasn't too busy, but the restaurant was occupied with drink orders. It was odd that the bartender made eye contact with us but didn't acknowledge us or say she would be with us shortly. This went on for quite a while, and eventually, someone else brought us a menu. When another gentleman joined the bar, he didn't inquire about our orders but offered us a slight smile. After what felt like an eternity, we were finally greeted by Eder. He provided us with excellent service, along with one of the managers. At one point, when he was unavailable, I asked the female bartender if she had a menu for bar bites, and she informed me that they were still working on it and only the full menu was available. Rather than staying for more drinks, we decided to have just one cocktail and then go elsewhere for small bites. When Eder returned, he asked if we needed anything else, and we explained that we thought we could order from the Terra bar bites menu. He clarified that it would be a couple of weeks before that menu was available but mentioned that they had an à la carte menu we could order from. Our faces lit up, as this option hadn't been offered to us before. He took our orders, and we both requested another cocktail. When our food arrived, it was slightly incorrect, and Eder immediately noticed the mistake. I started eating my dish, but everything was lukewarm to slightly chilled. I had to send it back to be microwaved, and when it returned, it was much better. My friend also had to send her meal back as it was not satisfactory. Overall, I plan to return to enjoy the Seafood Churrasco experience and will update my review then. read more

We went as a group of 9 and the place was teeming on a Friday evening! The servers were good with explaining stuff although they seem to be less versed on the chicken & seafood option for adults and kids. I was aware of the options because I had checked it out on their website. The servers had to go confirm with the manager before they could let us know. Once we got all our options picked, it was easy enough - their service was prompt and the meat/chicken/seafood came by often enough such that no one had to wait on food. Salmon and shrimp were very good and the fried cheese with honey was absolutely memorable. The salad bar has plenty of options but I especially liked the variety of cheese and an asian style cucumber/radish salad. The drinks however are a little watered down. I've been to Fogo De Chao before and couldn't help but to compare Terra Gaucho to my experience there. It's a beautiful restaurant, just hate how close the tables are together and I think I prefer the low lights of Fogo. I came for the $48.95 Devour Indy, but after them telling us a few things were left out (Filet, Lamb, Seafood), I decided to go with the full experience instead. There weren't too many hot/cold appetizers I wanted. The cucumber salad, mushrooms, and raspberry vinaigrette were a few standouts. It got very overwhelming at one point, once one server comes to your table with a meat, it seems to attract them all at once. I found myself constantly flipping my card over just to get a break. However, all of the meat/seafood I tried tasted amazing. Some of my favorites were the flank steak, lamb chops, salmon, and make sure not to skip on the pineapple! There weren't many food items I didn't like. Overall I feel like I got my moneys worth with how much you are allowed to eat and the quality of the meats you get to try. I would definitely come back with friends, but if I were looking for a date night spot, Fogo De Chao would be my choice. read more

Terra Gaucha has wonderful food. After being seated, the staff brought over a variety of small dishes to the table, including delicious mashed potatoes, plantains and small cheese bread. Then we headed to the buffet bar and grabbed a variety of delicious foods and then the rotations began. We had about 10-15 different meats bought to our table. Some of the steak was well done but when we asked for a medium or rare cut, it was brought over fairly quickly. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Watch out Fogo, there's a new game in town. Living on the northside, we have been hoping for a Brazilian steakhouse with service and a hot/cold buffet to rival the downtown competitor and we have found it here. Our experience would have been considered phenomenal if it was an established restaurant. Considering that we accidentally came for their soft opening (we saw cars in the parking lot, so I went in and made a next-day reservation) and still experienced zero hiccups, it was pretty unbelievable. We brought our daughter for her birthday. They treated her like a birthday princess with lots of attention and a free dessert. She was also able to order off the happy hour menu to get a virgin pina colada - served in a fancy glass with whipped cream and a cherry. Our caipirinhas were equally delicious and available in several flavors. The hot and cold bar was a surprise. It had enough dishes I'd seen before to have a nice familiarity, but many new things that make it stand out from other places. Everything was very flavorful and the au gratin potatoes were our stand out favorite of the night. We were nervous that there wouldn't be as much meat or much variety because we came on a Wednesday and it wasn't very busy, but we didn't have to worry. Tons of food came out from the kitchen with lots of preparations to try. And like other authentic churrascarias, the gauchos cook their own meat, so when my daughter wanted meat medium/medium-well, they were able to run back to the kitchen to get it just right for her. Staff were very attentive without hovering. Two different managers stopped by our table to ask about our experience and seems to be really listening to our feedback. They were giving diners $25 gift cards for a return visit, and we will definitely be using ours the next time we'd like a big meal. read more

We were here during their soft opening week. It is a very good churrascaria and something that the Northside has needed for a long time. The meats were cooked and seasoned very well by the gauchos. And there were many of them roaming the restaurant so we never had to wait for meat. The salad bar is also very nice with a good selection of cold items and a few really good hot items (soup, beans, rice, potatoes). Made a 2pm reservation not realizing the restaurant actually closes down at 3pm to get ready for dinner and reopens at 4pm but to be honest even though the restaurant started to clear out service never faulted! The staff was completely on point asking if there was anything additional they could bring us, and they kept their hot/cold bar fresh and stocked. Never once did we feel rushed or unwelcome. Loved our experience here, and the food was amazing, so many choices on the hot/cold bar, and a wide selection of different meats served table side. A great addition to the North side of town. A beautiful spacious restaurant with comfortable seating, meaning not as cramped as in similar restaurants. The fact that you cannot be seated until your entire party is present is a bit irksome. If one of your guests gets stuck in traffic, you get to sit on the most uncomfortable benches until they finally make it. Otherwise it is fabulous. Pricey, but the food quality, service and atmosphere is well worth it. My personal favorites on the buffet are the fresh fruit such as passion fruit and papaya, as well as the grilled pineapple. The bacon is to die for, I swear I could eat an entire tray of that. It is sweet with a little spicy kick to it. Just fabulous. There is soup and several hot dishes. You will also find all the ingredients to make some delicious feijoada, the national dish of Brazil. Once you are ready for the meat service, be prepared. I have taken a liking to the shrimp, the little Portuguese sausages, Parmesan encrusted pork, bacon wrapped chicken and especially the grilled pineapple. The latter comes fresh off the grill with a thin crust of spices and is simply delicious. Of course you will also get some Mashed potatoes, fried plantains and Pao de Queijo (cheese bread) for the table, just in case you have any room left in your stomach.
