A lot of writing on the walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the combo special number F for $39.99. It came with one lobster tail, half a pound of snow, crab legs, and half a pound of shrimp. We added half a pound of sausage for an additional $7.99. The combo came with one corn and two potatoes. We also added an additional corn for $1.25. You pick your own seasoning with options of Cajun, Garlic Butter, Garlic Butter with Seasoning, or the Juicy Sauce (which is all of the above). We ordered the juicy sauce. You also select your spice level from mild, medium, hot and extra hot. We got the medium. Your dinner is served in a large boil bag. Dinner comes with a bib and gloves to wear while eating. Did I mention this was extremely casual? The food was served, hot and cooked to order. It had a good flavor. The medium was not very spicy in our opinion. We will probably try the hot the next time. I know snow crabs are tiny and a lot of work, but these were very tiny and a whole lot of work. We probably will not get them with our order next time. All that said, the food had a good taste. Very messy so be prepared. Service was good and our waiter was very friendly. He made good suggestions on the menu. The bill was accurate. read more

I had ordered a pound of crawfish and a half pound of green mussels. The food had a foul odor to it before even opening the bag. When I opened the bag itself, the crawfish were the size of my pinky (which isn't big at all, maybe about 1 1/2 inch), half of the crawfish was mushy, and overall did not taste good. I had accidentally ordered from this place originally, but thought I'd go ahead and try it out. I will never go to this place again. read more

This place is wildly inconsistent. A few weeks ago we had a great experience and were excited to come back. Today, the service was not good and the food was awful. All the seafood tasted like it was left in the freezer too long. The shells were soft and the meat was nearly impossible to pry out. Several of the crawfish were discolored and/or falling apart. When the server finally came back to check on us for the first time, we told her that the crab legs (the only thing we had eaten at the time) were not good and explained the problem. She offered to bring more but considering how the first set was I didn't want that. She said she would speak to a manager. We continued to eat and when our tray was almost empty she came back and asked us if we wanted our near-empty drinks refilled. When she came back again later and brought us the check, I asked if the manager was coming to speak to us. She went to get the manager who was very apologetic and said that he would escalate the issue. The waitress took our payment and came back with a $25 gift card. The whole experience was really poor and very different from what we experienced just a few weeks earlier. I can only hope that if we return to use the gift card it will be better. read more

WE LOVE THESE BOIL PLACES and this hit the SPOT when I get out of the hospital! The ONLY down side is in the restaurant they do NOT have the right utensils to crack the crab legs! This time we finally found JUST the right sauce combo, garlic butter & Cajun w/ mild spice. Me personally, I'm never able to finish one Red Bomb meal. I am only giving it 2 stars because of the young black lady who was the host. She was really sweet. I had called in an order at 7 pm, they said it was an hour wait. I got there at about 8:30, they said it was going to be another 10-15 minutes. That then turned into 5 hours. Here it is going on 11 pm at night and I have yet to receive my order. A very "Eh" of a place. The staff was friendly the two times she walked by. However, We had to ask to have have refills and for various other things during our dining experience. This is a pet peeve of mine. The one thing I expect is attentive service. Keep in mind we were the ONLY people in the restaurant. The "Hot" Cajun was not hot at all, so if you decide to go here I would get "extra hot" I also was disappointed that the large crab outside was red and not blue like the name but that is clearly a personal opinion. read more

This was our first adventure here. Needless to say my wife was not joyful about going. The idea of peak and eat shrimp bothers her. I had headon shrimp mild , son #1 crawfish and yellow muscles medium , son #2 head-off shrimp and sausage mild. Wife had fried shrimp and onion rings :) I found food really tasty I could prob went up to a notch on heat. The place is very causal so come as you are :). A little loud for me but not unpleasant. Pretty cool place to check out. If you like juicy seafood you'll definitely like this place too. A lot of places that I've been to only give two clusters, and this place give you three! That'll always be a plus in my book. Everything was fresh and the fries were nice and hot. Our server was nice and made sure we were all okay. I love that so much character of this restaurant comes from people being able to sign the walls on the inside. It's a really cool concept and you can see just how popular this spot is from everyone that has signed the walls. Considering the size of the group, the waiter did a good job of getting the orders right, checks straight, and checking on us. The restaurant was clean and moderately busy for a Sunday afternoon. Not big on the hassle of crab legs nor do I like boiled potatoes, I opted for a catfish and shrimp basket with fries. I thought it was reasonably priced for the portion and the taste was pretty good. Most of the party got boils and their portions weren't plentiful compared to other restaurants. Everyone seemed to like the flavor and taste of their food. I came here For a birthday lunch with my girlfriends. It wasn't busy at all. The crowd did begin to pickup around 2p. Our wait staff KeKe and Ivan were great. Very attentive. We order a variety of food. I particularly ordered the breaded Cajun wings and Cajun fries. The wings tasted just like regular fried wings so I ordered a side of sweet Thai chili sauce to add some flavor and that definitely made a huge difference. We were excited to try this new seafood spot, but left the experience pretty disappointed. We chose the hush puppies for an app, then got chicken for the kids and seafood for each of our entrees. Hush puppies were *so* good, the rest of the food was meh. I'm not big on seafood, so my friend shrimp was fine - not terrible, not great. My boyfriend opted for one of the big combos, and he was pretty disappointed with the quality of the seafood, noting there wasn't a ton of meat in the crab and the crawfish were almost mushy. Honestly though what really brought my experience down was the service! Our server didn't check on us throughout our time there, and at one point we were trying to flag her down while she and the other servers were sitting on their phones in a corner booth. Since COVID hit I've been cooking up a storm and trying to stay in as much as possible. Today my taste buds were calling for a good seafood boil. I originally called a different location for pick up by mistake but when I arrived at this location, I was so impressed with their quickness to accommodate. Social distancing and masks are required. I ordered the special with a 1/2lb of peel & eat shrimp, 1/2lb of sausage, 1/2lb snow crab legs, 2 boiled eggs, potatoes and corn in the juicy special "hot" sauce. YUM!!!! When I got home my order was still steaming hot, flavorful and delicious! They included gloves, a couple of bibs so you can dig in without worrying about wearing the sauce on your clothes. Lol. The order was enough for two people so since my husband has a shellfish allergy there was plenty left over for another meal. I recommend going to Blue Crab Juicy seafood located near Castleton square right next to Crew car wash. You won't be disappointed. read more

While the various seafood 'bags' are delicious, my go to dishes are the fried shrimp and fried catfish. Both are wonderful, and cost $13 each. The shrimp are plump and taste very fresh, and the fish is never too fishy or dry. Top it off with the Cajun fries or the onion rings and while not the healthiest meal, it does feed my soul. I highly recommend this establishment. It's never too busy during lunch and the wait staff are always friendly. Good value for the product they serve. If you want to go big you can for a price. The King of the Sea combo goes for $109. Haven't tried that yet. Maybe for my b-day. read more

I needed a small fork or pick instead of a giant serving fork, but my waitress said they had none, because customers had been stealing them along with their 'crackers'. I did have a 'cracker/plier, but had difficulty picking the little bit of crab meat, in spite of the large crabs. The fun-of-the-meal compensated, but my return wont be including crab anything. Fortunately I had a calamari appetizer, which helped satisfy my 2 pm hunger! So I tried the NEW Juicy Crab tonight. The place is brand spanking new!! You can still smell the new wood! I think they've been open a week. I was wondering if it was going to be good since there were not a lot cars in the parking lot. I was actually able to eat, unlike the other location. They are looking for additional waitstaff but there were no issues. My server was KeKe and she was very attentive and accommodating. She was also funny without being funny. I ordered the hush puppies and a choose you own combo with green and black mussels. The food was good and not drowned in butter, so I can actually taste the seafood. The hushpuppies came out with a side of ranch dressing. I thought it was an Indiana thing but KeKe definitely let me know that it was not lol in the nicest way, that was funny to me.
