We came here for a family dinner and were delighted by all the food. The steaks were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the lobster bisque as well. 10/10 would definitely come here again for a special dinner.

Hubs & I celebrated our anniversary here in early Oct '24. We dined at 6:30 on a Monday night, and the restaurant was not that busy. Our server Wendy was a delight. The atmosphere is old school steak house, white linen table cloths. Also for our anniversary, they came around and took a photos, which was then printed for us and came with a card signed by the staff. Cute. (And, it was a great pic!) We ordered: A "three broomsticks" (like an old fashioned) for the hubs, wine was half price so a bottle of brutacao for me (they seal and bag the leftovers to go, as I'm good for about a two glasses), and a crab cake appetizer to share. I had 4 oysters (also half price), I said chef pick so these were west coast. Entrees were the duck breast for me, and the dry aged rib eye with a side of au gratin potatoes for the hubs. Dessert was coffee and also their brownie a la mode, which they comped for our anniversary. Everything really was very delicious. Tender, flavorful, all that you would expect. Dinner came to $248, before gratuity. The wine norally $70, at half price was $35. My duck entree at $35 was very reasonable for a high-end restaurant. Half price oysters were $2 ea, also wonderful. The rib eye was pricey, $90. I thnk she said 20oz. It did not have the flash presentation of a giant bone-in tomahawk, but the concept was the same. It's high end pricing by our standards, but about what we expect for our special occasion meals, and again, everything was absolutely tasty. #yum #ReviewsByRL

10 out of 10! Amazing night celebrating our 13 year anniversary! Peterson's is such an amazing restaurant that provides stellar service, exceptional food selections, private dining vibe with dedicated parking. We had a 6:45p reservation and was greeted with "Happy Anniversary" and immediately seated. We were in a private area that allowed us to enjoy our special night with minimal interruptions. Our service team was attentive, knowledgeable and prompt; with everyone who engaged us saying "Happy Anniversary!" It has been several years since we celebrated an anniversary at Peterson's (primarily due to distance) however they will now be considered one of our primary restaurants for special occasions. Thank you Peterson's...we will see you soon!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this wonderful place, and we had a fantastic time! This place is absolutely stunning! The soft lighting creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the white tableclothed tables add a touch of elegance. Our waiter was simply amazing! He knew all the ins and outs of the menu, from the appetizers and the perfect wine selections. I hate that I can't remember his name, but when we go back, I'll be on the lookout for him This is a grown folks' experience, my friend. They have an age limit to who can dine here. (which I appreciate) I have little ones in my life (grand babies) but sometimes you need that time away from all the babies. (LOVE YALL) For all this, you'll have a 5-star experience for the price of your local family-style restaurant. Highly recommend!!!

Very unexpected! Prime Rib, side potatoes, and pasta were all top notch. I highly recommend if you haven't tried this or are visiting town and looking for a good streak dinner in a white table cloth setting. Staff was overly nice and they have a decent size bar for the solo traveler or date night dinner without reservations. I recommend reservations on the weekends or during peak holidays. Perfect place for celebration. Extensive wine and spirits selection.

Peterson's is one of Indinapolis' hidden gems! My husband and I went for our 5 year Anniversary and from the moment we walked in to the end of the evening we were in awe of the restaurant. The customer service, the personalization, the atmosphere, the attention to detail and the outstanding food! We rate it a 10 out 10! Can't wait to return! Food was delicious!!

We had such a good time. The food was sooooo good. I had salmon and my fiancée had steak. I would def recommend. It's def on the pricier side, but worth it.

Of course it's a great idea for a private holiday party! Combining the best food on Indy's Northside (Fishers area) with an excellent wine list and great service--that's Peterson's niche. I'm surprised I haven't been here for a private event before. On a warmer November Saturday, I joined a women's social club as their guest for their recruitment event in a private room. The restaurant was closed to the public. I didn't take photos of our food as their guest. The club chose a first course that included a Peterson's salad, Caesar salad or Lobster Bisque. (I chose lobster bisque and was not disappointed.) The temperature was perfect, the consistency was perfect according to all that enjoyed it. It was rich but in a restrained way, so you could finish it. Our entree choices were salmon, a six-ounce filet mignon with a choice of accompaniments or chicken. I chose the filet with a blue cheese crumble crust. It was served with mashed potatoes and a yummy carrot/green bean veggie. For the record, I've never written "yummy" and carrots in a sentence together. Dessert choices were cheesecake or crème brûlée. Being the sophisticates they are, most of the ladies politely had their cheesecake packed to go. I plowed through my crème brûlée like my life depended on it. It was delightful. There's a reason Peterson's is about to celebrate 25 years. Their private dining experience is 5 star !

I have to say we had a great experience here. Service was spot on. I love they give you warm bread. I had the crab cake appetizer and it was quite tasty. The star of the night though was the Nicole Taylor lobster bucatini. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the amount of lobster was good. I would definitely order it again. Their cocktails are excellent. My only issue was they were having a wine tasting dinner and it was a bit noisy. Luckily they found a quieter corner for us.

However, the pasta choices are only rigatoni or spaghetti. From the pictures yes they really do have a pizza oven, which is fantastic The calamari was great, especially because it contained tentacles. However, at this price point, the plate was pathetically filled with barely anything. So they're charging high prices, trying to present themselves as a great place to be, and yet are feeding you less than the competitors out there. Our server was very nice, however did not know what tentacles were. Our server was slightly attentive but slow. The two pasta dishes we ordered were very disappointing. The sauce tasted like they came out of a jar and they were definitely not homemade or made from scratch in any way shape or form. The cheese is as well tasted like they came out of a bag and were not shaved or cut fresh. Unfortunately, I can even do the simple pasta better at home. Further, the alla Norma I was playing a game of trying to find the eggplant. My partner got the Bolognese and you could not find any meat in it whatsoever. It was very disappointing. By the time we left the place was packed, so maybe they are doing something right but frankly from three dishes, this was a huge disappointment and frankly a waste of money There are lots of other Italian places in the fishers and Carmel areas please go there.

It's not much to look at from the outside - in small strip mall off Fall Creek about 2 miles north of 96th, but the inside is both luxe and comfortably cozy. At just 12 tables, you get your table for the night, so there is no rush and your evening can be as long as you want to make it. They also have a gorgeous little side wine room that you can rent for parties of 6-8 for dinner. And there's a little bar area that seats maybe 4-6. We had reservations for 6pm, so there were only 2 or 3 other tables occupied when we got there, but they filled throughout the night (& we left close to 8pm). Our server Shaunda was delightful, and the owner Dan came around and checked on all the tables a few times as well. We were presented with a cous cous amuse bouche, a nice refreshing bite to start the evening. Hubs had an Italian Old Fashioned and I asked our server to pair wine for me, so it was a Decoy Sauv Blanc with our first course - the mussels. We asked for extra crostinis in order to soak up more of the delicious sauce they came in. Next was the beet arugula salad, so good! For entrees, hubs had the pappardelle bolognaise and got an iced T, and I had the short ribs with risotto, paired with a glass of cab franc. Dessert was coffee (americano) for each of us, and we split the tiramisu (see all my pics). We ate and enjoyed everything! Total with tax was right at 200 before gratuity. So this is more of a splurge place for us, (of course would be less without the beverages we did) but we will be back. It was a really pleasant evening and another big win for me picking birthday places! #yum #ReviewsByRL

As soon as we sat down, our server came right over and explained how the menu is laid out and how the courses are brought out. I will say, this is not a place to go when you are rush. It is meant to be slow, so you can settle in and enjoy your food, enjoy the company and just be in the moment. We were probably there just over 2 hours for just the two of us. Chef Dan came out many times to chat with us and really made us feel welcome. Telling us different stories, walking us through what we were eating, and just made us feel like we were special. While everything was amazing, a few standout things I would like to mention: The Mussels were amazing, such good flavor so if you are fan, make sure you order them. The caesar salad comes disassembled, and the anchovies are sold separately, (I didn't realize it when I ordered it), we ordered a few desserts and they were all amazing. Can't go wrong there.

Very lounger, sexy, chic yet cozy. 5/5. We sat in a booth by the bar. Small comment card, it is far too tight of a walkway. So there's sexy plush bar chairs along the bar top (love a good comfy bar chair with a back!), but then inches behind you- it's a major walkway of constant traffic. You can't stand and mingle w others that are sitting in the bar chairs bc you'll be in the way of a server or other patrons trying to get seated. There's a whole other section of the restaurant that is not inside the bar area - looked nice! Everything here is ala carte, so my guy and I eat got our own meat and then split a bunch of sides. I loved the red wine, filet mignon steak, Mac and cheese, asparagus and potatoes. My guy got the Wagyu steak, and to be honest- we were pretty disappointed. He ate it but he was wishing he was eating my steak. Ha! We also ordered the mushrooms-- I would not order again, they were sub-par. There was something in the sauce that just wasn't hitting the palette right. We usually love the shrooms the most when we go places, but not this night. But hey! You can't win em all! Overall, nice place! Is it better than Harry & Izzy's, 1933, or Provision? No. They still take the cake ;)

He wished me a happy birthday, told me to save room for dessert because it was on him and then proceeded to tell us about the history of the restaurant, the food they specialize in, the night specials, and his recommendations before taking our drink order. Eric really made the night special for me with his professionalism and obvious pride in the restaurant. Eric recommended the Oyster Rockefeller and Calamari for starters. They were both delicious! For entrees, I had the prime strip steak, fries, and Caesar salad. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium and seasoned just right. The sides were good as well. My husband had the ribeye, mashed potatoes, navy bean soup, and wedge salad. His steak was cooked to perfection and he absolutely loved his chosen sides. My daughter had the king crab sushi roll, which she rated a 7/10. Now, on to dessert. Eric told us his favorite is the key lime pie. I love a good key lime pie so I ordered it. In fact, I always order key lime pie if it's on the menu where ever we dine. Of all the pies I've had in recent years, it was the truly the best with perfectly balanced key lime with a brûlée-d top. My daughter had the coconut cream pie and my husband had the bread pudding.
