Today, we had the pleasure of meeting Mark, who came to our home to give our breaker unit some attention. The unit connected to our newly installed AC unit needed to be changed. We had expected a technician in the morning between 8-10am. When no one had called or arrived within that time frame, I called and someone was set to come right away. It was a nice surprise to have Mark, the owner, provide his services today. We were not charged for his work and attention, and he was very apologetic for being later than we expected. When told we would instead need the attention of an electrician, Mark gave us referrals to get what we needed. Additionally, a drywall expert came and finished the final part of replacing the moldings at our attic opening from having replaced the furnace. After reading through additional reviews, I decided to go with Air Done Right--and I'm so glad I did. I was happy to learn they're a small, family-owned business. Eric came out, inspected my outdoor A/C unit, cleaned it, and let me know everything was in good shape. Since I know A/C units don't last forever, I asked about the cost of replacing mine when the time comes. I was pleasantly surprised that their estimate was significantly lower than many of the advertised prices I'd seen, which is definitely something I'll keep in mind for the future. Air Done Right are my "go to" HVAC folks, without fail, they inspect and repair my heating and more importantly my air-conditioning system. Krystal called me a few months ago to set up my spring service for today. Nick and Mike were prompt as usual. They put on their shoe covers, checked my thermostats asked if my filters needed replacement then went outside and inspected my system. The system is around six years old and they mentioned they have a trade up program to install a new more environmentally friendly system, but I passed on that . Had requested ADR to clean our vents/ducts in the house including our 2 dryers. Matt was our service technician, and he did a terrific job. Then he noticed there was a problem with one of our AC units. Turned out he found the wire leading to the fan blower was "pinched" and our AC unit stopped working. Fixed it right away! I had Michael H. Service my air conditioner today. He even called and was able to arrive early. Michael is a very likeable person. Right in the door he changed my air filters for me. I appreciated he showed me on his phone the readings he took on my air conditioner and explained what that meant. He wasn't pushy but informed me there's a peice of equipment that he can install to prolong the life of the compressor. Financially I'm still paying on the air ducts they replaced. My technician, Jay, was very knowledgeable on HVAC systems. He went into great detail about my unit and what he noticed when checking it out. I bought my unit from Air Done Right back in May 2021 and Jay came by for its semi-annual tune up. He let me know that the capacitor was faltering and it was one microfarad away from bottoming out. At first I said not at this time and Jay had no issue with my declining his recommendation. Then I thought about it more and decided that I didn't want to take the risk and with the unit being at about its half-life, it made sense to get the new capacitor. The cost of the part was included with the 10 year warranty so I only had to pay for the labor. He also let me know about the hard start kit as a preventative measure. So glad we found a company with Aloha. After having our annual AC inspection with another company and feeling like something wasn't right, we decided to call Air Done Right. Really glad we did. When I called, the owner Mark was friendly and straightforward about the cost to replace an AC fan motor. The price he mentioned was more than fair, actually hundreds less than other quotes. Most companies won't even give you a ballpark unless you schedule an inspection first, and then they hit you with inflated prices and a handful of other recommendations. Our technician, Eric Evans was great. After inspecting our unit, he told us the fan motor was running perfectly fine and didn't need to be replaced, despite what we were told by another company. That honesty alone earned our trust. When we asked about upkeep, he mentioned replacing the capacitor and adding a starter could help extend the life of the unit, but there was no pressure. We decided to get it taken care of that same afternoon since we felt comfortable with his professionalism. It was close to 5pm and we were his last call of the day, however Eric went the extra mile to clean the unit and show us before and after photos. Great service all around. My evaporator coil was freezing over. A previous Company couldn't figure it out. I eventually (myself) found the issue to be a faulty Honeywell Zone Dampener. Had Air Done Right come out to verify and they did. I expressed that since they came out I asked what the cost would be to replace the part. They quoted 1K, but would do it for $850.00. Ok, so I understand they are a business, have to pay employees, a vehicular fleet, insurance, licensing, etc. but... the part being replaced is $122.00 (original Honeywell Zone Dampener), requires two wires which are literally a push in/pull out friction connection, and one hex key. That's it. So, would I pay $700.00+ for a job that will take less than 5 minutes. 15 if you count crawling carefully to ensure nothing is broken enroute to the Dampeners location. I believe in a fair price for a fair job/service and this took a good 30 seconds to register after being told the cost. I paid the service call fee and watched a YouTube video and went on Honeywells site to make sure it was as easy as it seemed. I want to support local over corporate if at all possible and would have paid for an hours labor, but this was just too much for me. read more

Again, my elderly father hired this company, paid an exorbitant amount of money, and three short years later the entire system had to be replaced. Of course my air conditioner died in the heatwave and on a weekend! Sunday I needed help I knew the unit was old and probably would need to be replaced but was hopeful it could be fixed I did reach out to another company at first but was turned off by the AI assistant that answered the call The questions were so robotic and false interaction. I found air done right on yelp they were amazing Live person Mark the owner was able to get someone to house that afternoon as promised and on time Eric was the technician and got right to work As expected the system was 33 years old and just couldn't keep up with the high temperatures and humidity He presented the different options for a new system and financial assistance It was all very reasonable for the time of year I really didn't feel I was being taken advantage of They had some discounts available as well I feel it was a good value They were able to install a new system the next day In the meantime Eric was able to go to Home Depot to purchase a cooling unit for my bedroom to at least allow cool air conditioning for the night Extremely nice !! The new system was delivered on time the next day The installation team and crane operator were extremely impressive The old system was out and new system in ! I don't remember the installers names but kudos to them for the excellent job in such hot weather conditions Of course they were extremely busy but they didn't rush they did a really professional job It was so easy with this business Definitely would recommend them for any heating or air issues It was like a breath of fresh air!!!! read more

Now I know why the reviews are so good! Three days ago, the AC wasn't blowing cold so we had a couple of companies come out. Even though the other company had great customer service and the tech was awesome, they didn't come close to Jay and his work. From the very beginning he was communicative, arriving on time. He was willing to answer questions (I love learning) and diagnosed the issue quickly! The capacitator was swapped out and before leaving, he checked the output and temp from the vents very thoroughly...guy was thorough. Very nice, social and professional. Two previous HVAC companies told me my unit was fried and needed to be replaced. Told me it could not be repaired. They Tried to sell me a new unit. I didn't have the money so I was SOL. Wish I called Air Done Right first. They also recommended a new hvac unit but I told them financially, it was not possible. They were able to repair my unit with no warranty but I'm just thankful they got it working again before the summer heat. Very thankful to the tech Eric for getting the job done. Fingers crossed this unit can last a few more years and allow me to save up for a new unit. Will update on how long the unit works. read more
