Dry chili powder on the table

Tried this restaurant on my way to Dekalb Farmer's Market and was pleasantly surprised. I tried the Pork Noodle Soup and a bit of Singapore Noodles with shrimp. The soup was delicious. It had a deep hearty broth and plenty of veggies and meat. If you don't like the flavor of intestines or liver, order it without those items as the intestines and liver impart a great amount of their flavor to the broth. The bite of Singapore noodles I had were delicious, flavorful, and had a nice chewy feel. The service was quick and nice (not overly friendly) and got the job done. The prices were more than reasonable. I would definitely come back before another shopping trip in the area.

Food was yummy, definitely more of a takeout place than sit down. The Burmese rice noodle was served cold, which was a bit surprising, but still yummy. Has a small kick to it, white people beware. I see another review where there's a lunch buffet, might try that out next time. Black pepper beef was good, definitely great for the price. Cash recommended

The food was amazing. The service was great. The milk tea was excellent. Nice cozy atmosphere.

    Kamhiang shrimp and kailan. YUM!

Takeout tonight, because three people recommended this place yesterday; and that was just too coincidental to ignore. It was right up my alley, in an eclectic, unassuming strip mall, in Clarkston, GA - "the most diverse square mile in America." I ordered the spicy Kamhiang shrimp, prepared with chili peppers, curry leaves, shallots, ginger, and garlic. They're messy to peel, and so delicious! The sauce was yummy over the perfect rice. I also ordered a side of kailan (Chinese broccoli), which was a lovely foil to the spicy shrimp. (Leftover kailan is destined for a scramble with eggs sometime later this weekend.) I'm looking forward to another visit, to try the tofu veg soup; or possibly some Rakhine noodle soup!

Food that's fresh & full of flavor. Nothing fancy, just straight forward culinary goodness. It's in a small strip mall in the Clarkston neighborhood. Happy to support local, independent global cuisine.

If you want Chinese-Malaysian food, this is a right place to get your food. It is very authentic Chinese-Malaysian food. Server was amazing and great service. The food was really delicious and fast. The place is a hidden gem.

Nan Gyi Thoke noodle - very good and authentic

Burmese menu is pretty limited but tastes legit. I had a very good nan gyi thoke. The red pepper flakes provided on the table is super potent, beware! My BIL had Rakhine mote thi noodle soup and he said it's peppery spicy-- the way it should be! The weekend lunch buffet looks to be good value with decent amount of Burmese style curries and other Chinese food offerings, plus a pad Thai. Not bad at all for $10. Service was very friendly, and it was cool to hear the owners speaking in an indigenous dialect of Burma that I didn't understand. We requested some items (fried rice and fried thick noodle) and they were accommodating.

Lovely little Burmese restaurant in Clarkston! Went there on a Friday evening, it was definitely quiet for them. The owner greeted and seated us. She came over to recommend a few dishes. We settled with two noodle dishes and one rice dish. Love all of them. It's exactly the Southeast Asian flavors I expect! Go try it out, you won't regret it!

This restaurant is now under new ownership! It is now an authentic Burmese restaurant, featuring some delicious Pan-Myanmar cuisines, like Shan Noodle, Rakhine Noodle Soup, Burmese Noodle Soup! My husband (from Burma) and I visited on a Saturday and had their Nangyi Noodles, Rakhine Noodle Soup, Shan Noodle and Burmese tea. Everything was delicious and extremely authentic. A great place to visit if you are looking for a hidden gem, that is inexpensive and DELICIOUS! If you enjoy a buffet on Saturday and Sunday for lunch they have all you can eat for $9.99 (haven't tried it yet, but will be coming back to give it a go!).

    a variety of dishes

The food here is delicious. Whenever I am in the area I try to stop by & eat my favorite dishes. The spicy shrimp is my favorite & the bakuteh is yummy as well. It's hard to find this soup. Definitely should give it a try!

I want to thank Dave for reaching out and taking the time to understand my concerns about my previous experience. That effort mattered. I recently had the chance to visit again on a Friday evening. It wasn't overly busy, I was seated promptly, and my server was attentive throughout. I tried a few new items along with some of my favorites, including the Korean BBQ Sticky Ribs (hopefully I got that right). This time, I left satisfied with the overall experience, and I felt it was only right to come back and share that update. One thing I will say, Friday evenings seem to be a better fit for me than a midday Saturday visit, especially with how busy the BeltLine can get.

The ribs struck that magical sweet-meets-savory harmony, like a perfectly composed song. The pork bao buns? Pillowy clouds of joy, cradling glossy, sweet glazed pork that practically melted on cue. The dumplings were tiny treasure chests of flavor, so good they didn't even need a dip to shine. And the bibimbap? A layered masterpiece, each bite a new surprise that had me doing a quiet little happy dance in my seat. The ambiance felt light and breezy, with charming wooden booths that invite you to linger... though the seats themselves seem to encourage just a slightly shorter stay. Service, however, was a tale of two moods. Our main server was an absolute gem--warm, attentive, and lovely. But one food runner brought a storm cloud to the table, delivering dishes with an energy that felt more "battle scene" than "dinner service." After one particularly dramatic plate drop, we kindly asked for a different runner. Thankfully, the food worked its magic and kept the overall experience glowing brighter than the brief shadow.

Our server, Lia, was wonderful--super patient, always smiling, and really helpful when it came to recommending dishes. She took the time to explain options, and her suggestions were spot on. Food-wise, everything hit the mark. The pig ears were surprisingly good with great texture and flavor. The Garlic Bone Marrow Noodle Soup was rich and comforting, and the Herbal Spare Ribs had a really nice, well-balanced herbal taste. Consistently good food, a comfortable vibe, and service like this are why Food Terminal continues to be a neighborhood favorite for me.

It was busy inside, but our party of 10 was promptly seated, though we were a little squished into a circular table. I didn't remember this last time, but instead of telling a server what you want, you mark it down on a paper menu and hand it to the server. This time I got the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodles and the Salted Egg Yolk Shrimp Garlic Noodle. I was really excited to try both since they both sounded so good. Ultimately the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodle was a little underwhelming - the noodles themselves weren't very flavorful, and the BBQ pork was on the drier side. The pork did have decent flavor, and all the toppings/side items (wontons, fried egg, bok choy) were great, but all in all fell a little short of my hopes. The Salted Egg Yolk Garlic Noodles had better flavor, but I could've used even more garlic and butter. The shrimp definitely carried the salted egg yolk flavor, but the fried batter was a bit soggy/soft in my opinion. I wished it was crisper. Service was a tad slow, but perhaps they're understaffed and/or it was busy that night. I do love the menu concept of positioning it like a magazine catalog - it makes for a fun experience instead of just words on paper

I got the hibachi chicken and added scallops ($18.95 + 12.95). with fried rice ($2.95 extra). It came with the clear soup and house salad. The house salad was sort of doused in the dressing, but it was still good nonetheless. The clear soup was standard, nothing special...still ate it all. I ordered a Pineapple Upside down martini, and might I say it was watered down. It was supposed to come with Absolut Vanilla, but I didn't taste it very much. I tasted more pineapple. It wasn't very strong, and I know martinis are supposed to be sort of strong by nature. For $11.95 it wasn't bad I guess--could've been stronger though as a martini. The inside of pretty quiet and dim. I went around 12:15 so it wasn't that many people there (which is good for me). I say at a table with 2 other adults and 2 kids. We were the only customers in there at the time. The chicken hibachi with added scallops was good. Basically I got what I would have gotten somewhere like Benihana for half the price. This place is decent/solid. I had a lot of leftovers. My review is for like 3.7, so we'll round that to 4 :)

Im not sure if it was just a language barrier or just bad customer service. The food was HORRIBLE! The veggies weren't fresh. The garlic sauce tasted old and stale. My drink had to be changed 3 times because the sprite had too much syrup, the lemonade taste flat, and the water had a bad after taste. I ended up going to get my water out the car to have. Some of our utensils weren't cleaned so we used plastic. Depending on what you ordered the portions size are decent (the shrimp portion is skim when more than 2 ppl order it). I asked for a Medium steak. I received a well done steak I honestly felt like we were served old food because you could taste how UNFRESH the veggies were. The food didn't really have any seasoning frfr. It was greasy. And the rice tasted mine "wash rag water". It could've been because of how they clean the grill then add the food on there, Im really not sure. LASTLY; the floors were were and no sign was up. That could've been a very dangerous outcome! I honestly wouldn't recommend this place. There's WAYYTT better hibachi restaurants..

The restaurant is beautiful, red velvet curtains, baroque flowered wallpaper. The service was excellent. They have a very nice wine, cocktail, and mocktail list. I had the purple rain, light and bubbly. My friend enjoyed her gingery King's Ransom. The menu is Chinese and Asian fusion, and a short list of sushi. Chinese is always meant to be shared. We had the miso truffle salmon and each of the steam buns to start. I thought the salmon was very good, I do not normally like capers, but liked the way they prepared them. The katsu was probably the best of the buns, nicely crispy. The tofu was good a well, with a nice kick, the young one in our group found it too spicy. I would not order the short rib again, it was fine, but I've had much better short rib. We then had the chicken satay, roti canai, and the miso cod. The chicken satay had good flavor, and paired well with the peanut sauce and pickles. I did find it a bit too fatty. The miso cod was perfectly cooked, and the flavor was just right. Note that it is a very small portion. The best dish was the roti, a yellow curry with chicken and veggies with two flaky peice of roti. So good. The star of the meal though was the mango sticky rice, with sorbet and small bits of mochi. This is one of the best versions I've ever had. Do not miss this dessert! The issue I had with our visit is we, a group of three, were seated by the door, which was also near the kitchen door. The seating felt cramped, and every few minutes one of the doors was slamming, which made it a less pleasant experience. There were also several other tables open that we could have been seated at instead.
