This is a great place! The hot pot was absolutely delicious. I love that you can make your own sauce. They were extremely nice here. It's so cute inside too. I would come here again. Everything was delicious.

Excellent food and service. Staff is friendly and helpful in helping you with the menu sections. Pork floss chapati is one of my favorite. Thin, light, crispy. The dry pot is delicious authentic flavor. I ordered mild spice and it was still full of flavor. All the appetizers are delicious as well. I haven't had anything bad here. The restaurant interior is beautiful.

One of the most authentic Chinese restaurants you can ever find!! They are very friendly. The environment was clean. I would highly recommend this place. They also have private rooms if you have bigger party. We went here after my graduation.

This place was great..We enjoyed ourselves and stuffed our mouths! Place is big enough that you're not packed in around each other-it's clean and well stocked. The staff is super nice and very attentive to table clearing and getting anything you need and keeping our broth refilled. Food selection is perfection-menus are not overly confusing and being able to take the HotPot menu and mark off what we wanted and then pass it off was nice. The frog legs were dry fried to perfection and super clean. We are both suckers for anything dry fried and Sichuan peppers/chilis...Chicken was equally prepared well. This would be the perfect place to take a mix of newbie hot pot'ers and old vets. There is enough authentic dishes like pork brains and intestines to satisfy the hardcorers but you can get approachable options of thinly shaved beef and commonly known veggies too. Eating as a group in the center or each getting their own pot at the same table...it's perfect. The sauce/dipping bar is self service and they've got it all...mix up concoctions until your heart is content. Will be back.

Atlanta's Favorite Dual Mala If you are looking for the best authentic mala hotpot in the area, it's here. Happy 6 Year Anniversary I hope to visit for many more years! Latest visit:: 1 Dry mala ying yang pot - Yes, ma + la with your choice of pepper, meat, spice level, and more. Ribs and shrimp, but all of the flavors are delicious. 2 Chaparti - At least 8 flavors of sweet and savory crispy stuffed pancake offered. We ordered durian and laogama this time. 3 Bullfrog Sour Pepper hotpot - This is the favorite dish of most of my friends. The meat is so tender and sauce is luxurious. 4 Fresh Juice - The juices here are so fresh and delicious, especially the watermelon. 5 Cold Appetizers - I'm a fan of all the appetizers here. This time we ordered sliced beef. Modern, magical atmosphere. Kind servers. Cool robot delivery.

Really good Chinese hot pot and dry pot place in Doraville! We got the half/half dry pot today, and it was very good. I especially enjoyed the shrimp, as it was very flavorful but the fish was also delicious. We also tried the pineapple flatbread, which was an interesting combination but actually very good. I would love to come here again to try some of their other pots!

I got hot pot to share with my family. For four of us, it was about $90. We got the tomato and beef bases- I preferred the beef but both were good. The meat and veggies were good and options were broad. The service was decent. Bonus- NCT Dream & NCT 127 visited last year and they have a menu signed by the members framed up front.

This was my third visit, and they never stop amazing me--especially impressive given how popular this place is with Asian diners (always a good sign!). I don't think they have any bad dishes here, but it really helps to know your taste preferences--whether you like savory, mild, or super spicy flavors. Just let your server know, and they'll guide you well. Today, I loved the so flavorful frog dish my friend ordered at the spiciest level! The vegetables were cooked perfectly--tender but still with a nice crunch. Service was excellent too, with prompt water refills and staff consistently checking in to make sure we were doing well.

I've been wanting to try Good Harvest for awhile. Ogling the photos of the dry pot dishes and hoping it was going to be as good as the reviews have said. Today we gave it a try and of course ordered too much. We ordered the Buttery & Spicy Hot Pot and a Mix & Match dry pot, along with Charpati. The hot pot soup was delicious although I thought it was too buttery/greasy...hubby disagreed. Next time I want to try the mushroom broth. For the dry pot, we had flounder with rattan pepper and prime rib with black pepper sauce. Both were exquisite - tender fish and beef and the seasoning was perfect. I really can't get enough of Sichuan food. I love how your mouth and lips can burn so good from the spiciness, and then about 10 mins later all those sensations are gone and you are craving more! The Charpati was an unexpected delight. We ordered scallion to eat with our entrees and banana to have later for dessert. Both were delicious - I have a new food addiction. Thanks, Good Harvest for packing a punch with your delicious food!

Good service, good sauce bar. I tried the flounder dry pot and the green chili flavor was not that flavorful at all. Maybe get the red chilli flavor instead. Also tried the hotpot with bone broth. The broth was good. The amount of food you get is not a lot though for the price.

    Binh N.

Overall really good hot pot! Bone broth starts out with a lighter & delicate note but gets progressively richer as you cook more meats and veggies. The meat and side ingredients were of high quality, all of them were very tasty. Also very satisfied with the service -- our waitstaff was especially attentive. Will definitely come back to try the dry pot.

Second time here and trying their hot pot. I think the prices can be a bit steep while the service is spotty and had to wave 75% of the time. Hot pot was flavorful and the broth felt much more loaded (料足) than china hot pot. But the sauce station wasn't that impressive and the overall was quite expensive (200$+ for 2).

    Durian pancake
    Ruina Z.

Overpriced and underwhelming food with HAIR in pancake. Ended up spending about 50 dollars per person when other restaurants nearby offer much more authentic food for about 30-40 dollars each. We ordered the mix and match dry pot with chili chicken and prime rib, expecting flavor, but it was bland and the cauliflower undercooked. The thousand-year egg appetizer seemed like store-bought eggs with soy sauce. The only decent dish was the durian pancake; however, we found a hair in the pineapple pancake. When we complained, the waiter tried to pass it off as minced pork until the manager intervened. She ended up not charging us for the dish. Additionally, the abundance of five-star reviews on Google seems suspect, possibly due to the restaurant's practice of offering free food for positive reviews. Overall, Good Harvest failed to deliver on its promise of quality cuisine and left us unsatisfied. Not recommended.

We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.

Admittedly this location is in need of a DEEP clean and a major facelift. It's like stepping into a vintage time capsule. But hey, at least there's yummy food inside. Considering that, the prices do not really match the ambience at all in my opinion. However it seems they might have a big staff to support, especially those who make their dumplings and noodles from scratch. I'll pay a lil extra at a takeout spot for the food quality because it's certainly there. The staff has been pleasant enough, which is a nice plus. The pork buns are a great mouthful (I prefer steamed). Same for the soup dumplings. Unmatched in the texture of the dough. I've tried their hand-pulled noodles in a soup as well as a stir-fry and they certainly held their own. The noodle consistency is incredibly dreamy, so much so it has become a craving in my household. I don't like the beef they use as it can be a bit dry but the flavor is really nice. Nothing has been salty so far and the flavor profile is always robust. Numbing spice on deck. Again, the food is a hit. Where this place falls short is appearance and service. It just feels stuck in another century, and not in an endearing way. I ate here once, saw the condition of the restaurant and the health score, and settled on the blissful ignorance of takeout from thereon. The parking lot is rough and an eyesore. But honestly, it seems people overlook these things for the food. "People" being me....

When we arrived, I realized the location used to be the old Hong Kong Supermarket -- only longtime locals would probably remember that. The layout inside was pretty interesting. There was a Te'amos milk tea shop in the middle, Lao Szechuan on the right, and the hot pot & BBQ restaurant on the left. The staff greeted us warmly and quickly helped us get seated. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that they offered freshly made milk teas and fruit teas instead of bottled drinks. The drinks were decent and refreshing, especially for balancing out the richness of the meal. Each person gets their own mini hot pot, which I really liked because everyone could customize their own soup base and ingredients. We chose a variety of broths including mushroom, spicy mala, tomato, and herbal soup. Using the iPad ordering system, we basically ordered one of everything from both the hot pot and BBQ menus. The food came out surprisingly fast, and they even used robots to deliver dishes to the table, which was smooth and efficient. For hot pot, my personal favorites were the fatty beef slices, lamb, beef tripe, black tripe, tofu skin rolls, squid flowers, enoki mushrooms, corn, lotus root slices, kelp knots, fish balls, and beef tendon balls. Everything tasted great with the broth and my favorite sesame dipping sauce. On the BBQ side, the standout items for me were the cumin lamb, beef tongue, chicken cartilage, short ribs, and squid. We weren't exactly BBQ experts, so some meats weren't cooked perfectly, but the flavor was still really enjoyable -- and the best part was that you could keep ordering as much as you wanted. Honestly, for around $40 per person, it felt like a very good value. My parents both thought it was worth the price. We left full and satisfied, and the service was always attentive whenever we needed something. Drinks: Mai Tai was actually pretty good, and this is coming from someone that typically sticks with a beer. Sapporo is available on draft! Service/cleanliness: 3/5 the host sat us, a party of 3, down at a table meant for 6, which was interesting. We were quite literally one of 2 parties there, and only one other couple showed up while we dined. Our table was also the only table that had a grill with browned oil that came from who knows where. We had it changed to a clean one, but when we were handed the tablet to order, this was also covered in grease/oil. The bathrooms and sauce bar were clean, but at the table I was not satisfied. The server herself was very nice and explained the AYCE experience well. Ambiance: quiet music in the background, plenty of tables that could sit 4, 6, and 8.

Best dishes (the reasons to come) 1) Salt and pepper squid This one was excellent. Fried well, not greasy heavy, topped with plenty of fried garlic, plus cilantro and fresh cabbage to balance the richness. Super satisfying and well executed. 2) Dried chow fun with beef Also a standout. Great texture and temperature, well seasoned, and the ingredients felt evenly distributed instead of clumped or uneven. This dish was done right. 3) Eggplant in a small pot Served in a small pot that keeps it warm for a long time, which makes a big difference. There's a lot of sauce, but you can reduce how salty it tastes by how you scoop and serve it. Comforting and flavorful. If you ordered just these three, you'd already have a great meal. Other dishes (good, not amazing) Coconut shrimp The shrimp itself was cooked well, and I appreciated the broccoli on the side to balance the heaviness. The issue was the sauce: way too much. It got soggy fast and leaned too sweet and too salty. Next time, I'd ask for the sauce on the side so you can control it. We also tried a vegetable dish and a fish dish. Both were decent, but not particularly memorable. Tea They serve tea if you order it. The chrysanthemum tea was pretty good, and I liked that it was loose leaf. Atmosphere and service We went around 2:30 to 3:00 pm, so it wasn't crowded. The vibe felt very local and family friendly. It's an older building, but clean enough and inviting. Service was great, and it seemed even smoother if you have someone in your group who can speak Cantonese. Would I return? Yes. I'd come back, especially for the salt and pepper squid, dried chow fun with beef, and the eggplant pot.

We ordered pan fried buns and instead received Chinese donuts in the bag :( I didn't realize it until we got home, but I never had an issue with this place so it didn't occur to me that they prepared (or packed?) the wrong thing. If I ever return, I'll know to do better than expect the correct order and check everything before heading out. The crab rangoon was still flavorful but whatever dough they wrapped it with this time was so freaking tough that it cut the top of my mouth. My jaw should not get a workout from eating crab rangoon of all things. Another disappointment in the bag. But the beef entree we ordered was good, yet overshadowed by the other letdowns of the night's visit given that I can't really remember what exactly we ate. I'm going to remove another star for the unhygienic practices I witnessed that I was perhaps blissfully ignorant of my last time visiting. It's hard to look past a server comfortably coughing into their hand and proceeding to handle multiple patrons' plates and orders without as much of a squirt of sanitizer. I will say though they are quite dedicated to the customer. As I was sitting in the parking lot waiting 10-15min for my order to finish, someone clearly forgot their food and the same hacking server ran out to give it to them. Oh wait! Turns out that was actually our food being jostled around as he ran through the parking lot searching for the owner. I was watching the time and planned on returning but maybe I wasn't moving fast enough for this guy lol. He did all that just for the order to be wrong.... Damn bro. I prayed he didn't box the food. I guess we didn't come on a good day? I really don't know what happened but the entire experience was off. Based on the night's events, I don't know if I'll return. No pictures this time... I was too pissed off. Didn't fight the incorrect order either as I was too tired and really only ordered here because Northern China Eatery was closed. At least the food was decent. Heavy on the word "decent".

Get yourself nothing else but the CB3 Combo (JJA JJANG MYUN & JAMBONG W/ SWEET & SOUR PORK COMBO) - cuz IYKYK. Jjajangmyun bowl was as wide as a tire - slurp up the noodles and all that sauce cuz the taste is so damn good. Yes, the juices might wind-up on your face cuz you going down-down on it good like that, but who doesn't bask in wet, juicy glory like that, just wipe the collateral-damage off. Jjambong had the haemul (seafood) overflowing like the organ between my loins, but damn - what a bounty of seafood. Squid was also sitting up top like the jjambong bowls back in Korea. Broth was good, noodles were green - brb, throwing my glasses at the wall out of pure joy and disbelief at how damn good it was. Tangsuyuk? oh my word - just the right amount of crisp. Not so damn deep-fried like other places to the point of when you put it in your mouth, it scratches the skin off the roof of your mouth and cheek-walls like a blue-dolphin does (iiykyk). Just the perfect ratio of frying AND pork - I just rabidly shoved the whole piece in to my mouth, so damn good. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being top, I rate this place a 15, definitely coming back here, and you should too. Jinjja!

Being able to see into the kitchen while the food was being prepared added a sense of trust and transparency, which I appreciated. The service was very good. The staff checked on us regularly and brought what we needed quickly. Everyone was friendly and attentive. As for the food, I usually tend to be fairly generous in my ratings, but on the day I visited, the dishes were noticeably salty. The seafood noodle soup, jajangmyeon, and fried rice were all saltier than expected. I'm not sure if it was just an off day, but this part was a bit disappointing. That said, the overall experience was still decent, and I hope the seasoning is more balanced on my next visit.

Prices have increased since my last visit (of course), but they're still quite reasonable. The service is exceptional! We always enjoy chatting with Jojo and Chloe when we're there. These two ladies are incredibly friendly and helpful. My parents visit so frequently that Jojo already knows their orders without them having to say a word lol. You never have to wait long; our orders come out one dish after another very quickly. Our go to orders: * Chow Quay Teow * Fish Fillet * Kari Fish Fillet * Salt & Pepper Squid * Hainanese Chicken + Chicken Rice!! * Salt & Pepper Tofu * Stir Fried Okra in Garlic TBH you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommend.

We decided to try Mamak after our 1st option was BOOKED and busy for Cinco ... EXCELLENT choice. Since it was both our first time, we ordered an assortment of items including the puffs, spring rolls, egg noodles, roti and our entrees. My tofu and veggie dish was flavorful with a hint of spice. My friend ordered the glass noodles with chicken and shrimp. Great service. Absolutely locally patronized - always a good sign - and a range of options. Loved this for my first time having Malaysian food !

While you place your order at a kiosk, they're available to help and answer any questions. I ordered a noodle dish, and it was fantastic. The beef was incredibly tender--almost melt-in-your-mouth tender. It had a crispy exterior while remaining moist inside. The noodles had a great texture, and the sauce was very flavorful. I especially enjoyed the vegetables mixed in, including the bok choy, which was perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. They also had a hot sauce available, though the container looked a bit dirty and could've used a wipe-down. Out of an abundance of caution, I only tried a small amount. Still, the dish overall was excellent, and I'd definitely return to try more items.

I've seen it a few times when visiting ICE NY, and was always curious to try. Well my hubby and I finally figured today would be the day. The restaurant is very intimate and inviting. The staff and manager were very kind and welcoming. You order and pay for your food at a digital kiosk in the front. I like this because it allows you to view pictures of menu items while ordering. We ordered steamed pork and chive dumplings to share, Thai fried rice with ham, and a beef noodle dish (I can't remember the name). Everything was very delicious and extremely affordable! I think we paid approx $40 including taxes and tip. This is a perfect place to grab a quick bite, then go next door for dessert. We'll definitely be back.
