If you're craving something flavorful and customizable, this is the spot. They've got 20 stir fry options, so there's plenty to pick from. I tried the Chinese Veggie Delight with shrimp, Tonkotsu Ramen, Sweet & Sour Wings, and Lettuce Chicken Wrap--everything was super tasty! I love that you can choose your protein and adjust the spice level to make it just right for you. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Ordered food delivery on the website and it was delivered through DoorDash. Got orange chicken, chicken lettuce wraps, curry, and pad thai. The orange chicken was average, chicken lettuce wraps were good but some of the lettuce was brown, the curry was my favorite dish, and the pad Thai wasn't so good. If I get food from here, it'll be something different and I'd like to try the boba.

I love this food! 2nd visit and no disappointment when my tastebuds are yearning for good flavors. I'll def come here! Not too far from me, surrounding by ships and stores. I'm in love with taro boba and theirs is some of the best yet. I usually order the rice and meat plate with vegetables but sometimes I just come for the sweet, ice cold boba. If you see one and your stomach is growling to be full, stop by and try out tin drum. Parking on site and staff super friendly and will even help with recommendations. Price point is amazing as well.

This is probably my favorite Tin Drum of all time. This is the very first time I received a meal from them and was amazed by how great the food was. I ordered the fried rice with pork belly, chicken, and beef. The portions are HUGE so it was very much worth the money spent. Depending on what type of meat you get, the pricing may vary. I was able to come in and receive quick service, with no issues. I will definitely be back.

We were looking for something good to eat in the area and we landed here. It was a great decision! The reviews on yelp were beneficial and were right on time because we just arrived in Atlanta and didn't want to go looking for too long. The service was top-notch. We were given a run-down of the menu - what was popular, what was not too spicy, what taste good, and what others recommended. He was honest and transparent. He even offered some dishes he wasn't a fan of but thought we might like them. The food was good. Hearty. Tasty. Full of flavor and reasonably priced. My son enjoyed their boba tea a lot. He ordered the brown sugar pearl and loved it. We also ordered the tokyo crinkcle fries which were good and are a nice side dish. I wanted something light so I ordered the chicken lettuce wrap which was a perfect size for what I wanted. I didn't get to finish it because I was getting full off the fries. We ordered a koreano sandwich, chinatown lo mein, sweet and savory sesame, and the thai basil fried rice. Everything was delicious. The portion sizes are good for the price. And, I love that they offer many vegetarian options. It's a great place to go if you're looking for a wide variety of asian-fusion and an assortment of boba teas. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

This was my first time going and I wasn't disappointed! I ordered the pad Thai noodles with seared chicken and it was sooo good. The cashier was nice and welcoming , she even offered recommendations for the boba tea they had. Overall it was clean and a cute little vibe, I'd go back and try something different. Or maybe get the same thing lol, it was well worth it.

I don't eat at Tin Drum as often as I did in college, but there are days I get cravings and if the moment is right, I occasionally stop by to get the goods. I was next door at Sublime Donuts and noticed the Tin Drum - and suddenly realized how hungry I was. I decided to pick up some takeout - and after trying the Singapore Curry Chow Mein once before, I knew what I had to do. The wait wasn't too long - I definitely wouldn't want it to be ready in less than 5 minutes, because I want my noodles fresh!!! I ended up taking them home and gorged myself on them - perfectly greasy and flavorful. Tin Drum's Singapore Curry Chow Mein is still and always will be my guilty pleasure!

Food, service & ambience all great. One of my favorite spots to grab a quick good meal. The curry chow mein is one of my faves & also the crab and cheese spring roll.

I've been here a few times and the food and service have been good each time. This was my first time trying the panang curry with chicken and I was impressed. The portion size was pretty good, too.

The hubby and I went here to try them out. They opened a while ago and located in the North Decatur shopping center with Whole Foods do parking is plentiful. It's a cute little space that's lively inside. The food was very good, and the staff was nice. The curry bowl had a nice bit of spice and was very flavorful. They have authentic drinks from Asian countries as well. I had some sort of tea based drink that was very good. Their prices are reasonable and I look forward to returning!

I sometimes/usually go to the Church Street location in Decatur due to living not far from there, but on that particular day (4/29) Me and my buddy we're in The area on that day and decided visit Tin Drum Asian kitchen Briarcliff Rd/N Druid Hills rd location, the food was pretty good my Basil fried rice was just like any other fried rice I had as well as the popping Japanese soda. My friend enjoyed his Koreano Sandwich and Tokyo Fries according to him. Overall experience was great employees got our food ready in a timely manner, The clerk (think his name was Andres) at the ordering counter was friendly to myself and my buddy. You can expect a third visit from me to this location! Next time I'm in that part of town. Keep it up y'all!

    Drunken Noodles, Classic Milk Tea
    Jackie R.

Holy wow, spicy! I ordered the Drunken Noodles without the spicy jalapeño sauce and a Classic Black Milk Tea with boba. I couldn't find a description on what the Drunken Sauce tasted like, so I gave it a try. It's essentially noodles in oil with red pepper flakes and it was SPICY! Not what I was expecting. But the boba tea was delicious!! It tasted like a brown sugar milk tea (they have that too). The boba pearls were slightly tough and chewy but overall I would still order the boba tea again. The staff was friendly and the restaurant appeared to be clean.

The cuddle fish was well fried and very crispy, the sauce that came with it tied everything together. Little sweet, little spicy, little hot of twang. Was amazing. Mapo tofu was extremely good, was exactly what I wanted after a long day. Smooth tofu, lots of spicy and tingly goodness, and the rice with it was perfect. Service was good, was really quick for pick up. And the place is super clean and really well spaced out inside. I would dine in here if I could have. Everything was DELICIOUS. The scallion bubble pancake came out HOT, like hurt-to-touch HOT. It was crispy and airy. It was served with a side of mild curry sauce. The noodles, lamb, and eggplant came out hot temperature-wise as well, but they were also hot spice-wise, especially the cumin lamb. The spice levels cleared my sinuses, LOL. But though I struggled with the spice, I kept on eating because all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The tender lamb was served on little skewers. The dry fried eggplant was super crispy; the pieces were shaped like spicy fries. I liked Grandma's noodles even more. The noodles had that bouncy, chewy, hand-pulled feel and were covered in vinegar & hot chili oil. I appreciated the portions. Despite being an appetizer, Grandma's Noodles came out on a large plate, and for being small plates, the eggplant and lamb were pretty filling. The service was also friendly and attentive. My food came out quick, and the staff constantly kept my glass of water filled. My only annoyance was the $1 charge for the bowl of white rice, but the food and service more than made up for that small, inexpensive annoyance.

We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.

I ordered the crispy chicken with garlic sauce and swapped the white rice for a side of house lo mein (yes, it's an upcharge, but worth it). Everything came out on real dishes--not to-go boxes--which I loved. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Now let's talk about the food... DELICIOUS. The spice level was just right--flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. If you like it hotter, you can definitely add more heat, but I was perfectly satisfied as is. The lo mein was really good too--veggies were fresh with a nice crisp (those onions and carrots were hitting!), and everything tasted well-balanced. Only small note: I wish there was a little more meat in the dish, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And let me say this--the portion size is VERY generous. I ate until I was full and still had just as much left to take home, which is always a win in my book. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try more. If you're in Chinatown Market and not sure what to pick, Chong Qing Hot Pot is a solid choice. 4/5 stars for me!
