I just kind of assumed that both restaurants would be prevalent here, but I was sorely mistaken. I put off trying Tin Drum for a long time due to some of the reviews but finally decided to give it a shot on a Monday evening. I placed an order for pickup and as soon as I walked in it smelled exactly like Pei Wei. It was ready when I got there - you still need to interact with the cashier to get your order (i.e. it's not one of those grab and go setups some restaurants offer these days). I got: Crab & Cheese Spring Roll - their version of a krab rangoon, not bad Veggie Spring Roll - a little on the greasy side Thai Coconut Soup - ordered with sauteed chicken, lacked a depth of flavor, but got the job done Chinatown Lo Mein - had that great wok flavor, and pretty decent as well, added "fried chicken" which is just chunks of chicken that have been tossed in a sauce, kind of like general tso's but not spicy. I was also able to specify no carrot which I really appreciated. All in all, this is not Pei Wei quality, but I enjoy the fast casual aspect and will likely order again. read more

My friend enjoyed his Koreano Sandwich and Tokyo Fries according to him. Overall experience was great employees got our food ready in a timely manner, The clerk (think his name was Andres) at the ordering counter was friendly to myself and my buddy. Holy wow, spicy! I ordered the Drunken Noodles without the spicy jalapeño sauce and a Classic Black Milk Tea with boba. I couldn't find a description on what the Drunken Sauce tasted like, so I gave it a try. It's essentially noodles in oil with red pepper flakes and it was SPICY! Not what I was expecting. But the boba tea was delicious!! It tasted like a brown sugar milk tea (they have that too). The boba pearls were slightly tough and chewy but overall I would still order the boba tea again. DO NOT ORDER THIS if you want anything closely resembling General Tsos! And one order of spring rolls includes one little spring roll. Why are spring rolls sold in one piece? I've never seen this. Every meal comes with fried chicken unless you upgrade or substitute. I kept the chicken since I paid an additional $2.50 to sub for fried rice. The chicken was tough and bland. I should have kept the steamed rice. Their version of fried rice was okay but not typical. It reminded me more of a Cajun dirty rice without the Cajun. The mangoes were a nice touch (the few diced ones I received) but overall I was not satisfied. I can't say that I'll be back but you all have to try this one for yourselves. read more

So disappointed at the service and food I RECIEVEd on Saturday about 4 o'clock. Me and my partner offered 3 meals of the Singapore meal with sautéed chicken in 3 levels of heat 1,2and3 expecting to have this amazing dinner. 1 the meals were all the same level of heat which was hot and one was for a child so he couldn't eat. We were also hoping to get wings and the two girls, very immature acting by the way. Said they didn't prepare any wings for today's orders. What? When I got home I tried to serve up the meals. The chicken in all tree meals were rubbery and cold . Tasted like fake chicken. I was highly disappointed. It's my belief that the two ladies running the restaurant were way too inexperienced to be left alone. I'm Very unhappy and feel like my money was wasted. Haven't been to here since before they rebranded, i like the new concept. I had the Thai fried rice with chicken and the sesame fries with Sarrachi mayo. The fries were so hot and extra crispy just they way i like them the mayo that paired with it was just ok for me it was missing so flavor for me.
